I'm enjoying every bite of my favorite treat the Cookie Monster Babycake, that I stopped in and got this afternoon, right now!! mmmm Thanks for always giving this dairy free nut allergy person such great treat options. I also want to add that the people in the cafe work very hard and have always answered any random questions I've had for them :)"

Rachel M. "It was a nice surprise to see this place was nearby our hotel in Clackamas because I love Bob's Red Mill products. Even though the parking lot was full, the place had a lot of people, but it wasn't overwhelming. The store is a great spot for any home cook, and I would go here regularly if I lived in the area. The store is neatly organized with different aisles for gluten free options, baking, and bulk items. It also includes a restaurant that appears to get pretty busy with dining tables on both levels.I ordered the Whole Grain Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich (3.5 stars). The biscuit was a bit crumbly and soft, but it was not dry. I liked how the egg was cooked with a slice of Tillamook cheddar cheese and crispy bacon. Even though the biscuit isn't as good as Pine State Biscuits, the sandwich was simple yet satisfying. The side of fruit (4 stars) was good as every piece was ripe and refreshing. I also ordered a side of gravy (1 star), and it was so bland. The Homestyle Potatoes (4 stars) were delicious. My husband had the Vegan Pancakes (3.5 stars), which you can also request to be wheat free too. The texture was fluffy, which isn't easy to achieve. After I placed my order, I was told it would take 20 minutes. They handed out a pager so you can browse the store without missing your order. Even though I didn't buy anything from the store, I saw various Bob's Red Mill products that are not usually in my local grocery store. Overall, it's a cool spot with 4 star service, and I'm glad I found it through Yelp."

Kerrie D. "I really overall like Crema and recently had an unfortunate experience that may have honestly moved me to a three-star review, BUT the staff at Crema handled it all so well, that I went right back to a five-star!Essentially, I ended up landing at Crema, ordered a coffee and a piece of nectarine crumble pie, and settled into a corner table to get some work done. On the first bite, I noticed a long hair in the pie, typically, I would honestly just throw it out and let it go as I have spent many years in food service and know how easy it is for something like this to happen, but this time, when I went to pull it out, I couldn't because it was baked into the crust. At that point, I was too grossed out to continue, so...I went back to the counter and explained the situation. The counter person, immediately took the plate away, offered me anything else as a replacement, handed me a $5 card for a future purchase at Crema, and apologized profusely. How is THAT for customer service!!"

Each time I went I , the place was very busy. They had live music on Friday evening where someone was playing guitar. The homemade apple muffin was so tasty! I asked for it warmed, and it was delicious. There were real apple pieces inside. The coffee itself was ok. I was expecting a bit more since I was in Portland. The staff were ok.I tried different lattes from their speciality menu. All tasted pretty good.I totally recommend stopping by for some coffee and a muffin.A lot of locals were there with their dogs. Portland is definitely dog city USA."

Jason V. "Came for the coffee; stayed for the sandwiches; will DEFINITELY return for the soup!My wife wanted a hot cup of coffee on a cold, soggy October morning. I wasn't in the mood for coffee, but I was hungry for something warm and comforting; thus, I began poking around online for a café reasonably closed to home that looked intriguing, and could satisfy both of our cravings. Hungry Heart checked all the boxes. The interior is a little sparse, in terms of seating and indoor dining (fallout from the height of COVID, perhaps?), but we grabbed an empty table near the (artificial) fireplace, placed our order: a tuna salad sandwich, a classic Everything bialy, a golden milk, double shot espresso, two oat milk lattés, one using horchata, and a bowl of the tomato soup. Drinks arrived first, in a handful of minutes, with the food hot on its heels.I have nothing but rave things to say about everything: the tuna salad sandwich was fantastic (bonus points for using capers, dill, and pickles instead of celery!), the Classic bialy hearty and satisfying, and the soup - otherworldly! Among the best I've had, anywhere, all by itself; but the addition of creme fraiche and basil oil elevating it even higher. Too often, the inclusion of basil can be a bit overwhelming, as it is quite often overused, but infusing it in oil? Stroke of genius. As a former barista, I can be critical of boutique café beverages, but the staff here know what they're doing. Thick, rich foam, correct temperature, quality grounds - you're in good hands here. The staff were also friendly and helpful, offering suggestions, clarifications, and general conversation.Although we didn't utilize it (this time), online ordering is also available, and seems pretty easy to navigate. You can even order ahead for pickup the next day, after they've closed, and choose your preferred pick up time. Pretty great for a local operation! All in all, Hungry Heart PDX has left me, well...hungry (and thirsty) for more. We will absolutely be back!"

Chase M. "You know, I always forget just how many locations around Portland this place has. For some reason I've yet to be to this one until today when we were in the mood for a late lunch, but really just incredibly expensive croissant. Now I'm not saying that in a bad way don't give me wrong. I've been known to buy the massive packs from Costco and down them like a duck next to a pond. But when you see these beautifully twisted beautifully flavored croissants, you know it's a different level. I do a lot of baking and I've yet to make croissants never been great at dealing with layered butter, so I can really respect the beauty that they put here. I mean when you look at the pistachio or the fruit flavored ones they look too beautiful to eat.On a sidenote, if you look in the photo I put down it seems like somebody is really slacking on the pastry department. I mean the French macarons were just sloppy and some blown out, the Pavlova could not have been shaped worse, and overall the edge is on so many of the dessert just look sloppyI mean, I'm sure they all tasted delicious but when you're paying 6,7,8 dollars for something from here, you're really kind of want it to be that beautiful pitch perfect that it normally is. This isn't the normal experience and I also didn't order any of those but just an odd thing to notice. Our order and our service and having an open table in the sun on the last day before the rain starts was an absolute five star experience."

Melanie T. "Sometimes you need a little tasty, sweet, crispy treat.Looking at their bakery case it was hard to make a decision. Cupcakes, bars, cookies and more. I knew I was leaving with just one treat so I had to choose carefully. It was between a monster cookie and the perfect chocolate chip cookie. I chose the monster. With the subtle flavors of peanut butter and then m & ms on top, it was a great choice! ( let's beg for the recipe )The employee barista was super helpful with my iced mocha. I like a combination of dark chocolate and white chocolate, really good!Come on over to downtown Gresham to Sugar Cubed. I know you'll find some great treats or a fancy cake for you, your family or that special occasion that's coming up."

Briana M. "Me & my husband came twice. Two mornings in a row *insert shame*. This is a nice size coffee shop in a strip center. Plenty of seating inside, a little souvenir/plant area to buy trinkets at the front. The register is where you'll see all the baked goods. Unfortunately, I didn't try to baked goods either time, tempting, as they look really good! The first day we came was on Saturday morning, and there was only one employee. I felt so bad for her because it was super busy lol, but she was cranking the orders out. Sunday morning, a lot more quiet and a second employee. Drinks came out in about 5 mins. Get the 20 oz, any smaller size will not be enough! I got a sugar free vanilla soy latte. The coffee is super smooth and well balanced. This may be the best coffee I've had in Portland or even Oregon so far. Waaay better than the green mermaid. There are plenty of non-dairy and sugar free options. If you're not a coffee drinker, there was all tea and smoothies. The food menu is on the counter at the register they had breakfast and lunch items. It looks like the business is relatively new and independently owned, and always down to support that Would 100% recommend if you're in the area and wanting a great cup of coffee!"

Andrew A. "Standouts are excellent service and overall vibe. I was attracted to the mushroom coffee sign. I'm not versed enough in all the health claims, but it tasted good. You do pay a premium. The slight let down was the Millie's Choice breakfast sandwich, I paid extra for the biscuit option. - Most notably, the bacon was very thin, it had a low quality to it.- It's semi-non functional, i.e., it was too tall. - Everyday dark yellow cheddar is bland and boring, so premium sandwich shops are opting for sharp white cheddar.- Some sort of interesting sauce would take it to the next level.- I'm not a fan of the you can add this for $2 and that for $2.50 pricing model. Just make a kick ass sandwich and don't try to please everyone.I look forward to trying other menu items."

Jeanie N. "You could tell me that Sparrow Bakery sold nothing but the Ocean Roll and I'd believe you. This is a very specific craving in which I used to drive to Bend for but now I only have to cross town to get it. Ocean roll is a cinnamon roll on steroids. It's elevated, it's got the cardamon crispies that you Hoover into your mouth because it would be a waste of precious gold if you don't. It goes incredibly well with tea. It's too big for me to finish in one sitting so I get to enjoy more in the afternoon or if I have willpower, the next day."

She ate every bite of the chicken fried steak! There was lots of food. So I had leftovers of chorizo and hashbrowns to bring home.I just had the leftovers for dinner with tortillas. I don't often leave reviews on Yelp, but this chorizo needs recognition!......it is so delicious. I'm going back for more of that! Kim G. "This cookie chain is popping up everywhere! People love the ginormous cookies topped with oh so much icing. They have a set of regular flavors available daily, and weekly, add in specialty flavors. It's a great marketing tactic to keep cookie lovers coming back. I'm that rare individual that prefers my sweets on the less sweet side so for me, the iced cookies are just too much. If I have a craving, I get the chocolate chip cookie, which is definitely a 2 or 4 serving size. The one exception is the s'mores cookies, as I love anything marshmallow. The s'mores doesn't appear that often, maybe in the summer months it will be available. Located in Cascade Station, this is a welcomed addition to this outdoor shopping area. Closed Sundays."

Stephanie J. "Left everything last minute for planning my daughter's birthday party. I realized I had not ordered a cake yet. I normally order from a bakery from SE when they advised they no longer had capacity for another cake. I was looking on reviews online and decided to go somewhere local. I put in the order with reference to a cake they had online. It was a little pricey but being last minute I was okay with it with hopes that the cake would look great and taste delicious. They texted me (3) days before the party to confirm what design I wanted. They executed perfectly everyone loved the cake I would come here again. Im so happy I no longer need to drive to Portland for cakes."
