"Atmosphere: Bright, spacious atmosphere with a little market attached. More of a fast-casual type setupFood: The elephant's cure soup is a standout. Really delicious and one of my favorites. The turkey reuben wasn't as good.Price: Some of the sandwiches are a bit steep. Soup is reasonable. Overall, probably a bit pricier than it should be but the food is reasonableService: DecentParking: I think there is a parking lot. Otherwise street parking"
"Believe the reviews. 5 stars all the way. My burger was so good that I'll bring family and friends here every chance I get. Jen was our server tonight and was training. She was so gracious and gave us lots of information.I can't believe how fast the service was. That made me doubt how good my burger would be but honestly, it was probably in the top 3 of all burgers I've had. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Great place to eat after playing pickleball for a few hours. I was really looking forward to having the turtle cheesecake. It's in a bag on the back seat right now. I'll definitely enjoy it tomorrow!Like I said, the reviews are spot on. Try this restaurant. It will end up being one of your favorites, too."

"Atmosphere: Walk-up to counter and order. Few TV's in there.Food: I came for burger week. Burger was actually quite excellent and a good size.Price: Burger week price is always a steal. Don't remember other prices.Service: StandardParking: Street parking"
"Really enjoyed our dinner at Banning's. We're a family of four. The kids got burgers and they were HUGE and delicious. My husband and I both got the half sandwich, soup or salad and pie deal and were so happy we did. The salad was really great with carrot shavings and even peas. I had the chili and it was great. We also had a taste of the cream of mushroom and it tasted homemade and delicious. By the time dessert came around, we were so full that we asked for our desserts to go. Marionberry poppyseed cake rocked my world and the carrot cake was dreamy! Even the bathroom in this place is awesome. Really well kept and modern."
"One of the star restaurants on the Vancouver river scene. First, the room is one of the most beautiful rooms. Second, the fresh fish is second to none. Can highly recommend the sole, salmon and seafood pasta!"
"My husband was searching for my review of Sunny's, but he couldn't find it. I thought, I didn't write a review the first time. (I wanted to know what we ordered, so we could try others from the menu).2nd time here: I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss BUMP. This time, I noticed, the mushrooms were fresh. I seldom eat fresh mushrooms on my hamburger, so I only ate 1/4ths of mine, and had exchanged with hubby's Reuben Sandwich 1/4ths and onion rings. This time, I enjoyed their French Fries. And I liked the Onion rings, too! I did put aside my fresh onions, from my BUMP, and he add those to his 1/4ths. Again, we took half home, for another meal. (This is something we always do)."
"Milo's city cafe is locally owned and is super delicious. We met the owner and he is a delightful nice man. The omelette was delicious and would could back here for breakfast any day of the week. The jam for my English muffin is homemade just like all the food here. The Jam is a must try.... SUPER DELICIOUS. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Hot sauce homemade...his wife made it along with the jam... AMAZING Service was perfect, fast and efficient. Inside is super clean and super niceHighly recommend"
"Sometimes when my husband I travel we end up in spots and I wonder, 'where are we'? Just like this place. Our daughter gave us the 411 and said breakfast slaps and it's cheap. But, she also assured us that this place in the Southeast Portland area isn't sexy or high-end. She was right. Hotcake House screeches outdated Formica counters, wood panels, orangey wood furniture with a whisper of school cafeteria. This could probably be the absolute best place to overhear your fill of local gossip.Since our kid knows the restaurant and menu well, we sat and she ordered up and paid. Server brings your meal over and voila- you're eating. Basic is what you get. Nothing flashy. Don't expect artisanal waffles-but the fresh macerated strawberries, elevated them from 0 to 5 and my daughter's fluffy pancakes kept her satisfied. Service was pleasant and the music was an eclectic mix of R&B and Indie. Restaurants want to add flair to the menu- with micro greens this, aioli that, jalapeño everywhere and maybe some pickling- this is none of that. Fuck the dated look- come here for the breakfast (and lunch items). Hotcake House is consistently busy every time as my daughter told us and we noticed, so it's worth checking out the hype."
"Dishes were good. My fish was battered crisply as were the fries. Bar was fun. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun and stayed warm. Try the pretzels with the beer cheese. They're known for their draft beers, not so much wine. Friendly and attentive staff. Decent prices.also there's a wall of honeysuckle along the exterior and smells sooooo wonderful. I could've stood there for a while"

Such a cute restaurant with a market attached. So many options to choose from, and the ambiance is welcoming and cozy. There's a fireplace in the back seating area which I loved.

Gluten free review: We were taken to this wonderful place.. if you are gluten free go try this place and let me tell you why. I shared a pastrami burger with a gluten free bun and sweet potato fries. It was a 5 out of 5. I love the feel inside. Very high energy. This is one of the best services I have ever experienced. The gentlemen helping us was knowledgeable, friendly, happy, and personable. I am actually very impressed. If you're around the area give it a try. If not go find it and give it a try! I wish I could give this place 6 stars. very impressed. We'll be back.

Haven't been to Banning's for a while because it's always packed (I'm happy they have all this business) but we came in tonight after Mike's drive in was full. Food came out so fast, waited maybe ten minutes tops. My club sandwich and fries portion was massive, got leftovers! Fries were just out of the fryer and perfectly crisp. Our server was great as well, attentive but not clingy.

What a great place in a new and refreshed Vancouver riverfront.YELP SHORT ANSWER: Absolutely this is a first class , causal, water front establishment than is all about fun... not inexpensive but well worth a visit or being a local. LOCATION: Amazing waterfront location, pricey real estate but you can park and spend the afternoon bar-hopping and just exploring. More great expansion of this waterfront area is happening. We used to live there now thinking about moving back just because of the waterfront. Parking is a bit confusing the first time, tall building and open lots be aware of your surroundings later in the evening. FACILITY: Wow, the lease on this huge space must be ginormous but it is so nice. Not noisy, great views, and easy access indoors or out. MENU: Only enjoyed dinner here but there were so many great options, some simple and lite and not at all expensive, other fancy and market priced. FOOD PREP: Exceptional. FOOD QUALITY: The quality of the prep did not hide average food. We have three dinner and all were amazing to taste. LIBATIONS: I did not have anything to drink here but one in our group did, she seemed to enjoy her two drinks... WAITSTAFF: Professional is the first work that comes to mind. Well managed and all seemed to have a passion for being part of the Wildfin experience. OVERALL VALUE: It seems very fair, we will be visiting again and so sorry to see Beaches going away, Kind of the same vibe a Beaches but newer and in a much trendier high-end location. TIP: Parking can be a bit confusing but there are large lots... We did not have reservations but got a table at 5pm on a Friday no problem but Id suggest reservations.

Cute and convenient location with good service! The hot chocolate, sourdough bread, bread pudding and chili cheese omelette was so good! I also got the meat scramble but wished it had more cheese as it was heavy has brown so a little dry. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and the serving sizes are large! Definitely shareable! We will be back as we now live in the area.

My first time to Milo's. I had the Oyster Benedict. It came out promptly. I would have made some different plating choices and the eggs were a bit over. But what it may have lack d in finesse, it made up for with flavor. The potatoes were crisp and well seasoned. The oysters were plump, juicy and briny. But the star was the hollandaise. It was generous and it had the perfect punch of lemon, that helps lighten the rich sauce. The coffee was nice and the front of house staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive.

"For a chain/strip mall location/industrial-type restaurant with exposed ceiling pipes, lots of seating and tasty bites, WildFin was a very good spot for lunch after driving my daughter to this area so she can catch up on errands in Beaverton. Wild Fin serves up a nice mix of seafood dishes- and I don't mean 2 options only. Despite their name, these folks also have beef, poultry and pork items. For my kid and I, it was about the seafood since we're both Pescatarian. My daughter went for the 3 for $33 deal with appetizer+main plate+dessert and selected the shrimp+artichoke+scampi-ish with a silky cream sauce to start. That appetizer was love at first bite! She also enjoyed her salmon dish as well and donut dessert with a maple+butter sauce. I mean...for a packaged deal, her bites were wholesome. My Ahi Tuna+mixed green main plate was a lot- so much so, I reserved half of it to eat on the plane the following day heading home. Service from our server Evin was incredible- and I still got to enjoy a Happy Hour cocktail even when we didn't sit at the bar because she'd made special seating accommodations at a regular table instead of high-tops with my daughter in mind since she's recovering from surgery. From a quick lunch meal to a girls or guys hangout- no problem- WildFin has it covered with very nice prices."
"I love rand and staff. IMO they have the best coffee and awesome friends working here. Today I got a breve and it is awesome as usual. Appreciate the ability to hang out and just listen to interesting conversations. I am getting more and more truthful with how I truely feel tho. These guys are G's Free Ancient Accepted Masons like me. WTF are we doing? My heart does not rest in messing with an existence that does not speak to my heart. Again, they have awesome food coffee and I will always come here as long as plan good is not started:-)"
"Ended up at this bar when the one near our conference hotel closed too early plus my colleagues wanted to play pinball so drinks and pinball only for our group. The bartender was great! Attentive with just the right amount of attitude and even made sure our rideshare arrived to bring us back to our hotel since we were the last folks out. I even got to explain the shot and a beer concept (that was on special) to a couple of Brits so that was fun. Would definitely hang out again for ambiance and the Godzilla pinball machine."
"Always a smiling face to greet you! Good selection of well prepared foods. I have been a handful of times dine in, and take out. Everything from the veggie scramble to Caesar salad is on point, portobello sandwich yummm YES! It's a cozy spot where you feel right at home, thanks Sckavone's!"
"This is a handsome neighborhood bar, with a lot of locals and a fun atmosphere. The service was always attentive without being in our face and super friendly, especially with us being our first time in. The food was an interesting dichotomy, they smoke their meat in house and the smoke chicken I had was incredibly tender and delicious. I had the enchiladas that they have on special occasionally. The enchilada sauce was odd, flavor was mild, tasty enough, but so mild it almost didn't add much, very little cheese as well. The wins were the meat, amazing!! The pico de gallo, so good! The rice was perfect and not broken. Lovely place to visit, especially if you are walking around downtown Troutdale. Price were reasonable too, especially in the area. Will likely go back to try just smoked meat because they know how!"
"This is a delicious stop for dishes on the European slant, in addition to mainstay diner dishes. Beautiful waterwheel and flower displays. I love how the servers are in dirndle outfits. They also have a gift shop. Lots of parking. Large servings. I got the beef Stroganoff and it was special. It had the twang in the creamy, beautiful sauce. The meat chunks and mushrooms were super soft and tasty. The buttered noodles were perfectly cooked and actually grabbed the creamy sauce. It's satisfying but not overly fat rich, but I am sure it was. I felt so good for hours after eating."
"WHEN: Sat @5:45pmWe barely beat the rush coming here, and decided to sit inside due to the heat wave. It's such a lovely restaurant, and I appreciate all the plants in here! It's our first time, and decided to share the following:CLASSIC CHEESEBURGER - $131/4 lb beef, American Cheese, Jojo Sauce, Shredded Lettuce, Pickles, White Onion, Butter Roll.Ahh yesss...solid burger. I appreciate the amount of shredded lettuce in this juicy burger. Add a nice freshness and texture to it. Butter roll was soft to my liking, and I feel like I really could finish this bad boy all by myself!FRIED CHICKEN MELT - $17Cheddar & American Cheese, Coleslaw, Ranch, Crystal Hot Sauce, Shokupan. The description left out the all the wonderful chives that is sprinkled on this unique sandwich. This melt is far from dry, and was enjoyed through and through. The bread is clearly buttered and toasted to perfection, and the chicken inside is tender and the batter was crispy. I'm a cheesehead so thank you for adding more than one kind of cheese. I rec this a lot!The process is ordering at the counter first before seating. But our food came out so fast! Oh boy do they look pretty! I'm glad we are able to pour our own carafe of water so we don't have to bother the staff for more, or make multiple trips to fill our cup!It love the variety of sandwiches here--having it as a burger or melt. They also have plant-based and tofu options! I know they are known for their potato wedges but we had too many fries at this point."
"Came here for a coworkers going away party. I wont lie, when i saw hoe packed it was on a weekday lunch i was surprised. When i saw the portions and prices, it made sense. I mean, where in 2023/2024 can you find a 2/3lb double cheese burger with fries for $13. I mean, thats a gem. I love to see a place not get greedy with pricing, they have a ton of flair and decor, its jam packed, also they have jam packed Im sure. I will say the burger want some special over the top hipster thing. Just simple, done right, and served up quick. Alot of the guys got breakfast and it all looked great! I'll definitely be back with those prices, and love the Boring area as a whole. Being it was a work thing, and didnt want to be a goon. I left the camera phone in my pocket!!Youll have to go in person to see the goods."
"Stopped by here with some others after the community cleanup this past weekend. The whiskey/ginger/lemon boozy popsicle was perfect after walking ~5000 steps on a warm day. I expected the bruschetta to come pre-spread on 1-3 large slices of toast, but it came out with many small toasts and toppings as a side so I could do it myself! That definitely makes it better for sharing. I like to overload my bruschetta so I felt like $4 per topping, in the size provided, was a little pricey. But it was tasty so I'd probably get it again just with a more intentional toppings choice. The large L-shaped patio out back is a secret bonus, and there are some street patio tables too. Friendly staff helped me decide what to get when I felt indecisive. Overall, a solid option!"
"I stayed at the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel for two nights last month and dined at King Tide quite a few times and had an enjoyable - and tasty - experience each time! It was helpful that I had a couple of dining credits for being a Platinum Elite IHG Rewards Member and booking my hotel through the Chase Travel Portal. For dinner on my first night, I ordered the risotto which was fine. On the following evening, I very much enjoyed a dozen of fresh oysters and the mushroom toast. I also ordered a mocktail that was so refreshing. I must've been on a mushroom kick because the following morning I ordered the mushroom omelette for breakfast! The vanilla latte was so good and I wanted to order three more but refrained. I loved the omelette, particularly the ratio of mushrooms to cheese, really quite nice! My servers, Cassandra and Laina, were very friendly and attentive. I was seated inside but loved the ambiance and view nonetheless. I know there are so many great places to dine in Portland but I would recommend King Tide if you're staying at the Kimpton or nearby!"
"Best Halibut Fish & Chips in town is you ask me. Dive bar feel with great food choices and quality. Lottery on site, and just a great rustic feel. Reminded me of being at he ski lodge. One of my favorite spots in the city."
"What a wonderful little breakfast spot. I had the downtowner scramble - spinach, carmelized onion and goat cheese - added bacon. Done perfect. Daughter has a potato stack and a coffee drink. Definitely recommend this place"
"The hot honey cheese curds were delicious. The coffee martini style drink was delicious and better than the one I got at the Starbucks reserve! Seating wasn't very comfortable. Photo booth was out of order. Bartender was nice but not sure if short staffed but seemed an overwhelmed. Would comeback"
"For Mother's Day early dinner, my family decided to take me (& their dad, hubby of almost 50 years) to an Italian restaurant nearby, but they don't take reservation, but they recommend to come early. We did, and the patio we wanted is 1 hour wait. (We could have gone at 4, to eat at 5, if we knew!) While waiting for the rest of my children (& grandchildren), oldest son suggested, let's walk around to see if there's another restaurant to go and be seated right away. And WE DID! Not only did we eat outside, on an 82 degree very nice very little wind in the shade, but we were greeted with a friendly (smiley) kind lady server, and beautiful too!I wanted the TAMARIND drink, (that was all I can remember), it has brown sugar, honey, & lime. (My youngest son knew I don't drink alcohol, anymore, but I told him, once in a few, and today is a special day, so I will). All the ingredients on my drink was appealing UNTIL I got to the Serrano (I knew it was a brand name, I didn't know Fuego means fire. (Until down the street from us, a car was really on fire, and I showed video to my sons, and they said: FUEGO! LOL). Anyway, I didn't care for my drink, since it was spicy hot! Every adult in my table, all took sips, and finished it all, but I was left without a sweet drink, and our very nice, lovely waitress gave me same drink, without the spicey Serrano. Thank you, I'm happy now! Each ordered what they wanted, hubby and grand daughter both had the hamburger, I and one son ordered the fried chicken and another son ordered the pork chops with mashed sweet potato (I am surprise for the first time, because he, my dad and I only eat sweet potato in our family). :)All's well that ends well. We could have stayed for sweet-stuff, I heard we're heading to an ice cream parlor, and visit some more.Note: I would prefer the outside, HERE, than the patio there! Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will guide you, where they think is BEST for today is a special day for all mothers!Amen?"
"Been a few times now and I am happy to share my accolades - this place is legit. Unfortunately, I am a creature of habit so I have only had a few things off the menu but I determined to have more. Pho Ga - best in Portland. That broth will bring you back from the dead - clean and delicious. Bun Thit Ga Nuong - the char on that chicken is perfect. The dish is light and just blasting with flavor. Deceptive spice in the sauce, beware.Ohhh this is now: Chi Em Mekha Grill. The inside has more chill vibe. The drinks were impressing -looking... next time!!!!"
"Stopped by for a burger and fries after the airport. The cheeseburger was great. It's a quick service place, and the ambiance was standard fast food feel but kind of nicer. I would recommend a visit for a burger. Easy parking in the lot."
"Had a wonderful time on Saturday afternoon, lounging on the StockPot's outdoor patio that overlooks the luscious green golf course, as I took full advantage of one of the last few days of Portland sunshine, while enjoying entertaining conversation with good friends, leisurely sipping on Iced Spanish Coffees and being waiting on by the lovely Miss Lexi. Good food, tasty drinks, quick seating and fantastic service on a gorgeous weekend... what more could you possibly ask for?I highly recommend this hidden Portland gem."
"This all-vegan restaurant started as a food cart in downtown Portland back in 2009. Now they have their own brick and mortar, and they make their own seitan in house! Yes, please!I ordered the reuben, and it was the biggest, most delicious sandwich you could ever ask for. It was seriously enough for 2 meals if you're not a huge eater! The staff was super friendly. There was no line. There's picnic tables out front where you can eat, but it's mostly a takeout spot. I recommend doing what I did and taking your food a couple blocks down to the park and sit under the shade of a giant tree."
