Briskets and Gravy

Stopped in to the food carts today and decided to get some deep fried brisket balls. They were awful. Overcooked on the outside. Close to burnt and hard. The inside was very cold and wet. Seems like the oil was too hot. Cooking too fast on the outside before the inside was done. Not sure I'll be back here again.

Great flavor! I got the half size portion of the signature Brisket and Gravy. The ratio of gravy to biscuit and brisket pieces was hearty and well balanced. The egg was perfect: fully cooked white, soft and runny yolk.I LOVE a runny yolk. The server wasn't dripping with warmth, but who cares!? She was busy, and served up one hell of a meal! I'll be back. Brisket and Gravy HIT THE SPOT!!

Ordered the brisket and biscuit. It was moderately tasty but there was a pretty long wait and the portion sizes were slow. I did enjoy chatting with the employees though, they made the wait not seem so long! The biscuit was perfect, but the gravy was a bit bland and the brisket was a tad dry. I wish they had jelly or jalapeño crisps or something else to add a bit of pizzazz and tie it in better. It was topped with an egg but the egg didn't add much flavor wise and the texture got lost in the gravy.There's plenty of seating nearby and a few games to play outside and board games inside. Perfect for a fall or summer hangout.

Services slow. Brisket Sandwich was small and very little Brisket. It was chopped into tiny pieces!! This plate should have had plentiful amount of Brisket. The Mac and Cheese side order, was not good, tasted like from a box. Disappointed. We saw this from the street and decided to check this place out. Wrong choice. My wife ordered a Hawaiian plate 2 carts down. Now that was worth $15!! BRISKET Sandwich not worth $15.

Tried out the "brisket bites" and chicken wings. Wings were really really good, awesome flavor. Fries that came with were solid. Brisket bites were pretty disappointing. 98% potato. I think between all 6 pieces there might've been a single bite of brisket. Took a while to get the food, which would've been fine if it had been a little more satisfying. Wasn't bad, just didn't meet my expectations.

Amazing food truck! I tried the Briskets and Gravy Sliders, and they were AMAZING! **chef kiss** Fluffy soft brioche buns, super tasty waffle fries, and the sliders were... Whoa! Ground brisket (yes, it didake a difference!), gooey cheese, salty rich mushroom gravy (just the way I like it, thick enough to almost stand alone!) Plus perfectly cooked bacon and crispy fried onions. The boys working were super nice and friendly, and the food - well, I will be back!!!

I have eaten here twice now when. In the area and overall, what they have to offer really hits the spot. It's a unique twist on the traditional biscuits and gravy but it works. I'll have to give them a try again and order a different item but just say, the brisket was tender and flavorful and very filling if you are hungry for some great comfort food.

Pretty good food cart at a Troutdale station. I thought I'd try something a little bit different from the standard food cart options. I went with BBQ brisket balls and a brisket melt sando.My complaint is it took a really long time to get my food. It was early when the place just opened so there was no line. The sandwich did not have a lot of meat and the BBQ brisket balls were mostly mashed potatoes with hardly any meat. Pretty pricey lunch for what I received.

Man, this could be SO good... but it failed. Tiny portion for the fries and gravy. Flavor was just ok. Employee was on phone and distracted. Much better food carts here to spend your money on.
