Sign on the door october 2024 says closed for remodeling, but no other information. There is already graffiti next to the door, so it looks pretty deserted. Hope they come back.

Bridge City is a pretty grungy place, but not in a dive bar sort of way, just a pretty run down, dark, and dirty place with tacky and greasy menus.Said greasy menus feature lots of seafood and sandwiches. There is a full, separate menu just for desserts, but we didn't order dessert.First item: "Salmon candy". Not sure why they call it that, considering it is just Cajun-seasoned salmon chunks served with an overly sweet dipping sauce. If you're considering getting this, skip it. It is not good.Second item: Sliders. Competent, but not good. The beef was really flavorless. The fries were good, though.Third item: The "Californian". This was one of the drippiest things I'd ever seen, anywhere. As soon as my dining companion picked it up to take a bite, sauce dripped all over her plate. If the chicken had any flavor, it was completely drowned out by the sauce (she only ate half, and offered me the other half).Prices seem reasonable, overall.The service was actually quite good, though, and that is what added an extra star to this review.

Good amount of TV's here and Happy Hour is from 4-7. The beer prices are nothing super special for HH, but there are some good food deals. The Hawaiian Ahi Poke was solid, and my buddy liked his Kalua Pork Burrito.

Love the food here. More than just bar food it is restaurant quality food. They take good care to provide a great menu. I have had almost everything on the menu at some point and everything was delicious!Today I felt simple and had a burger and a side of onion rings. All done fantastic. I stop in regularly for football and baseball games. Huge screen in front and other screens all over the place!I recommend this place. The desert menu is amazing. You can't make a wrong decision.

Excellent little hole in the wall taproom with great beers and good vibe. Went here for Father's Day breakfast. Good choice of beers and awesome cakes and desserts.

Nice local bar. They have video lottery and a big menu! The Bartenders are super nice. Food is good and gets the job done. Not the best bar food but huge variety!

Stopped here for lunch while in town visiting a friend. It had a sports bar vibe. Full nice big bar. There were tables and booths for families. I had my baby with me so that's where we sat. The bartender/ server maybe it was the owner I'm not sure but he was efficient, friendly and didn't bother us too much yet didn't neglect us.We got the candy salmon, French fries and mac & cheese. All the food was great, came in big portions and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here when I'm back in town or if I lived around here.

Walked over here for breakfast while waiting for my oil change across the street and was not impressed. Service was very slow for it not even being busy. Waitress was nice but never came to check on us and we had to flag her down a couple times to ask for things. Food was okay. Nothing special. Restaurant smelled funny as soon as we walked in and they had a small corner of VP. Will probably never return.

I'm so sad. This place has gone completely downhill in the last three months. Maybe a new owner? I don't know but they've had their lottery license revoked, food was awful my last three visits. Today was my last trip to what was one of my favorite neighborhood spots. Serve a still good but that doesn't matter when food is no good.
