I used to watch "Rush Hour 2" every time it came on TNT when I was growing up, and I always dreamed of one day doing karaoke in an Asian dive bar like Chris Tucker in the movie. I finally got my wish The owner of the bar was nice enough to let us sing to our hearts content, only kicking us off when we were so shrill that all his customers would have fled. As is so often the case with these hole in the wall establishments, the food is incredible. There's a spicy clam dish served with giant, fluffy crackers which my friend described to me as "Vietnamese nachos". Another dish of grilled beef came with meat that was perfectly tender and juicy. The grilled squid dish we got wasn't my favorite, but it had an excellent char on it. Finally, the fish hot pot was amazing and unlike any hot pot I'd had before. Hole peppercorns were incorporated into the fish balls, which gave a much needed kick to the subtle and simple soup. I agree with my friend that the light soup was the perfect food late night because it wasn't too rich and very warm, so great for putting us straight to sleep when we were ready to wind down for the night. My only real qualm with the place was the Vietnamese EDM / dance music that was played too loud, which was accompanied by video of female DJ's who were revealing way too much boob (which jiggled to the beating bass). We all had a good laugh at that, but it was kind of irritating. Although I suppose it was a welcome noise after my terrible karaoke singing

Such a weird little spot but really nice. A true neighborhood dive. Staff is always kind, drinks are cheap.

This Lounge has so much awesome potential....Quaint & cozy w/ the perfect location that markets itself. Right off the bat, the prices on the menu are perfect for the variety of "beer" foods that is offered. The decor is clean & simple. The dishes ordered, Pigeon (chim cut) & Laos papaya salad surprisingly caught us by surprise and our group ended up staying longer than we planned to.I would have loved to give a 5 STAR & hopefully I will be able to when I come back in the future, but the room for improvement lies in the Karaoke system and the service (one more person in front will do)...other than that, I will definately come back for the food!!!

Seems this place has not been reviewed in a while. It was my first time here on a Friday night and they were very welcoming. It was my first intro to the Vietnamese/EDM genre or whatever music they were playing. They were also doing karaoke and drinking Heineken. One guy bought us all a drink and it was interesting peeking into their culture. I returned the following week to have some heineken. It should be noted there are no toilets in the mens bathroom, only urinals and it seems to be next to a water heater so maybe it's a converted space. I have not yet delved into their food apart from a posticker appetizer and it was undercooked with doughy flour and the meat was hard. Must have come out of the freezer. I recommend ONLY ordering from the items with vietnamese names next to them like spicy papaya salad and so on. I hope your experience here goes well. I knocked off one star for the undercooked potstickers.

Best Vietnamese bar in town! Only Vietnamese bar with EXTRA spicy soup! The owners are very nice and make you feel appreciated here

Oh my GAWD I love this place. I've been here a few times now and the prices are amazing. The atmosphere as well. I can tell that the person who manages this place puts a lot of care and joy into the service and atmosphere. The plants in the small and covered outdoor area are a great reason to stop by for a cool drink. Their inside with loud and dreamy music and soft blue lights are great for zoning out with company. Their fried tofu, fish balls, and everything really are such a treat as well. I cant believe I've lived in this neighborhood a year now and only just found out about them

Best local lounge and hospitality by far, good drinks and reasonable prices along with great late night food. definitely a must go !
