Good burgers, fair price, and clear instructions. Order at the counter, get a number, they'll bring your food. We've only gone during "happy hour" on days we could eat outside. The outdoor seating is picnic tables under a pavilion-style area. Good enough. Lots of room.

A smash burger so well seasoned, juicy, and delicious that it might even be the #1 best burger of my life. I'll have to go back to the #1 spot to refresh my memory. The quality of ingredients is top tier. Burgers with Duke's mayo, homemade zucchini pickles, and perfectly seasoned beef. Everything on this sandwich is well thought out and perfectly paired together. Outdoor dining area provides protection from the sun or rain, and three sides protect from wind.Do not drive past this food cart. You must stop.

This is the real deal... for amazing smash burgers, French fries, and hot dogs covered chili, onions, cheese, and mustard. I saw a positive Yelp review of this burger place, and I knew we had to try it. The dinner line was long, but moved fairly quickly. The staff were friendly and patient with us... The burgers were amazing!!! We can wait to go back and try different yummy toppings on our burgers.

This place is actually pretty close to my dad's house in portland. I've been wanting to try it for a while. I got myself the double classic burger. It was actually really good. I think when I come back next time I'm just going to order more. The customer service was great, it is a to-go place or you can choose outdoor seating at this place as well.

A good place to get smash burgers. We came about 1.5 hrs before they closed and they were busy. Staff did give us fair warning that it would be 45 mins to prepare our order. We opted to wait. They have a little patio area to sit in. We ordered a couple of burgers and tenders. Everything was good. Burger patties had a nice crispy edge. The tenders had a delicious batter. Fries were hot.

Solid burger if you like the smash kind. Their fries are actually one of my favorites and I sometimes ask for extra salt. Very crunchy and tasty.They have several burger options with different toppings. They have hotdogs as well, but definitely are not my favorite there. They are always too small for the bun in my opinion! They have lots of dipping sauces for your fries as well. We like the cheese sauce for sure! They did have an amazing ice cream machine, and the swirl was top-notch. But we learned a little while back that it was broken and seem to be pretty costly to replace. The last few times, I haven't asked about ice cream, but maybe I'll check in with that soon! Really nice covered patio type area with picnic tables. During the winter months it is sort of enclosed and has heaters. Condiments on the table. Water station and bus your own. They have a pretty solid online. Ordering system as well for the different locations in town. And when they give you a timeframe to pick up your order, it is generally spot on.

The burger was not too bad, but nothing great. Fries were previously frozen, not a fan at all.

Last night in Portland. I wanted something quick & easy and this place came recommended on yelp, so...Got here at like 645 on a Thursday in October and one a couple of people were eating in the outdoor area. A pro is that it has heated lamps, a con is that the benches really squeak. No indoor dining available. Most people just picked up to go orders from what I could tell. I ordered a Love Burger. It really a fan of mayo but it sounded good. With fries and a drink and a tip it was like $20. I live in Honolulu so this is actually pretty reasonable. The burger was great. Like suuuuuper tasty. It's like those old school burgers you'd get at a seedy bowling alley back in the day. I understand what someone else wrote about soggy buns. I feel like mine wasn't soggy but if I had ordered to go and had to drive home 15 min away, I'm sure it would have been.As it was the texture of the burger with the buns was just on the right side of being mushy. The flavors were on point and the spicy mayo actually saved the entire thing. Very good, no nonsense burger.The fries were good too. Not crispy like I like them but not soggy. So that means they were probably just right. Well seasoned. All in all, I have to say this was a pretty good burger. Definitely one of the better ones I've had in awhile.

It's National Cheeseburger Day, so I had to find a good one. I looked up a list of the best burgers in Portland and this was one of the places listed. I decided to keep it simple and go with the classic single, no changes. It was $8.95. It took a little longer than expected. The burger patty was good, the sweet onions stand out. The pickles are pretty good, but I couldn't tell it was zucchini. I like that it has ketchup, mustard, and mayo. The lettuce adds a nice crunch. I was pretty happy with the burger, but I've had a better value other places around town.

Just found BYHB this past summer. It became our favorite lunch spot for my grand daughter and me. Burgers were great. Fries were great. Soft serve was a hit. The people working the counter were consistently friendly and kind to my 7year old.I need a burger right now!
