This place I would say has the best birra tacos that I've ever had the only thing is they are pretty pricey, $3.00 a taco. The taste is to die for;the taco is filled with tender meat.

72nd and Flavel is not a bustling corner, so it's a little anomalous to have a food truck parked there. But I'm glad Birrieria Jalisco is there cause I love their food. Have mostly had smaller things, like the spider, the consomme (!) and the quesataco. But mostly I have vampiros, two today. $3 gets a taco with the grilled stiff cheese, a big mound of the sauced beef and a sprinkle of veggies. While the mild sauce is a bit mild for me the spicy is way too. Gpot my food in like three minutes.

Didn't take pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face.Yep. Finally a place with birria that actually has flavor... I figured as much since the consume is a menu item AND they even have a birria ramen menu item. Whaaaat?!?!Got regular chicken tacos, birria slim tacos, birria vampire tacos, chicken quesataco, and a chicken mulita.GET THE SLIM TACOS!!! It's a cheese shell, yo. Ohmigod, these might be my favorite tacos. The mulita was my second favorite.I'm honestly not sure the difference between the vampire taco and the regular taco other than the regular taco had two tortillas and was noticeably crunchier.Ordered through Postmates and the tacos that were supposed to be crunchy, were still crunchy. Impressive.MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE SIDE OF CONSUME.

Best birrieria I've had in SE Portland. Everything was super solid. For $10 you can get a variety plate. It doesn't come with consome so you have to purchase it separate. So everything came out to $13. Plenty of food. Definitely shareable between two people. My favorite was probably just the taco. Great flavors. I liked the salsas as well. Nice and spicy. The consome was quite thick if that's what you're into. Overall, it was good. Not my favorite in Portland but convenient and satisfies the craving. Worth a try.

I'm new to Portland and loving it here, but I'm trusting reviews to send me to the best spots! I've been wanting to try berria tacos for a while...and y'all. This is delicious. The service was amazing. Even my cat was trying to get in on the tasty slim tacos and consume. I am allergic to gluten, so I have to be a little careful. Since the shell of the slim tacos is just cheese, it totally works! I had only brought over a $20 and the person said she would cover the last $1 of my $21 bill. However, I was able to scrounge a $1 in change! I'll be sure to bring extra $$ next time and double my tip!!!They also gave me a complimentary hotchata to welcome me to Portland. That deliciousness was gone long before I got home.My brain was so focused on getting my food in my mouth that I forgot pics. I'll be back. I love love love the consume. It brings the taco from a 8.5 to a 9.9 in my book.
