Bills is probably one of the most dirtiest restaurants I've ever seen in my life. There were cobwebs/Dust and dirt on the pipes, windows, window sills. Seats and tables were dirty as well.Yuck yuck yuck! My wife went to the restroom before she sat at the table and when she got back, I told her we had to leave. So we drove down sandy to Clyde's.Come on you guys, get it together and clean your restaurant.

O.M.G. I just paid $32 for a Grubhub delivery of frozen crap and lies. A.) that is NOT halibut. I'm a chef, and not everyone who lives in mid-NE is an idiot. That is Gorton's straight from the freezer bag pollock, or maybe tilapia. Freezer bag steak fries (that actually TASTE like freezer, and a glorified piece of (maybe) Franz white bread. I am SOOOO pissed!! There were more fries than in the photo x2. Still a disgusting ripoff. God forbid you order a steak from here!

I love a local dive bar with great food as much as anyone. But if you call yourself a steak house, you'd better serve up a pretty decent steak at least, That's what I was hoping to find at Bills. Unfortunately, I didn't find that. What I found was a good enough dive bar with steak on the menu that had no place being served. For starters, I had a good enough Manhattan mixed and served by a friendly and skilled bartender. She was single handedly running the whole front of the house as far as I could tell. Fried mozzarella sticks as an app... typical bar food fare. Clam chowder that comes with dinner gets 5. Unfortunately it was all downhill from here. I had a med rare NY Strip that was about the worst piece of meat I've ever tried to eat. I strained and struggled to find a bite that wasn't fatty or gristly. I left half of the meat untouched. No amount of A1 could salvage it.Bills is not a steak house. It is a decent dive bar with steaks on the menu.

We had a perfect thanksgiving dinner there today. I'll be honest - we weren't too sure about this place, but we were late planners....Fantastic service!! She was giving it all she had & didn't miss a beat. All three of us enjoyed our meals - meat cooked as ordered, great sides dessert first - ALWAYS!

Nice atmosphere but the food was less than average. Tough steak and mashed potatoes drowned in brown gravy. The salad was crisp though. Just not my cup of tea. I liked the atmosphere, but that doesn't fill my stomach.

Bill's Steakhouse has been serving Portlander and visitor alike since 1940. While the past 5 years brought new decor to the establishment, the service, menu and pricing remains circa 1950.Where can you go for steak under $20? (And it's good cuts of meat)Where can you go for a glass of wine for $3 a glass (And it's a decent Pacific Northwest pour)Where can you go for french fries for $3 (and it's the small size in a large basket; I'd hate to see what the large $8 looks like)Where can you go to kick back, have a beverage and snack up to midnight in the Parkrose PDX Airport Area?Where can you go to play a game of pool, throw some darts, and watch sports on Big screen TV?Give up? Go to Bill's Steakhouse on Sandy; close to the 205 on ramp north to the airport and south to Clakamas.39/100 Yelp Review Challenge Los Angeles

This is not a steakhouse, it is a bar. You have to show your ID just to sit down and eat. It's a nice place, but it's a far cry from a steakhouse. The first table we went to had a chicken bone on it. No idea why, but we took another table. Looked at the menu and both wanted the pot roast. Alas, server says they're out of pot roast and have been for days. Patty melt and side salad for me. Only problem was the onions weren't peeled before being sliced so I kept having to fish onion paper out of my mouth. He had a chili burger. Said it was good. Both were made with cube steak; not bad but not really great either. We agreed we don't see ourselves going back. I do recommend it as someplace you can pop in for drinks and simple food.

The bartenders are amazing! It's a great place to hang for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Or just drinks. Lots of room, booths, tables and the bar.
