Bar Salut Cherie

From the food to the service, Bar Salut continues to be one of more consistent places in Oregon. Just an absolute pleasure to be able to come in, get some delicious food, with great vibes, and leave with a smile on your face. It is always a staple of mine when visiting Portland and will continue to be! The owner is always so nice, personal, and just makes the experience here that much better.

Bar Salut Cherie is a new Arbor Lodge neighborhood gem! My husband and I decided to check this French wine bar out for the first time tonight. Everything about this place it great! Customer service is more than on point. We had water filled to the brim the whole evening. The owner, Emid was fantastic to make recommendations of wine and food. He is clearly passionate about his business, the neighborhood, and the customers. I'm not the biggest fan of French wines historically, but I found some wines I was pretty fond of. I ordered the mussels.....SO GOOD!!!! I can't believe I have fine wine, and deviled eggs within walking distance to my house. Cheers!!

We happened to just walk by this place on a sunny spring afternoon. What a treat! The inside is smarty decorated and well lit - although we sat at one of the outdoor tables to take advantage of the weather. We ordered a glass of wine and a cocktail special, both delicious. Also ordered a cheeseboard for two, with meats, charcuterie & bread. Our server was super attentive (but not invasive) and we had a great house-made tiramisu for dessert. 10/10, will return.

Excellent charcuterie salami and prosciutto with great verity of cheeses!! Drink selection is excellent . Super nice staff and it's in good visible location. Easy to get to and out from the highway.:)

Great new wine bar with terrific food at the corner of N. Greeley and Killingsworth. Open pretty regular hours and near Adidas. The meat and cheese board was fantastic alongside the burrata. Great addition to the Overlook area.

We had a couple of small plates here and we drank a few glasses of wine. Mixed reviews on the space. Slightly sketch neighborhood, shop in front of a bus stop. The staff food, and wine quality were top notch. We will be back!

I came in tonight to try their deviled egg, and Bar Salut Cherie really delivered. We also tried to the humus which was fantastic. The wine was wonderful but I really want to say that the food was the star of the show- will definitely come back for more. So glad that they have joined the neighborhood!

This is a terrific wine bar with small and large plate offerings. Good wine selection, great atmosphere and location. Very reasonably priced. Treat yourself!

We stopped in for appetizers, a cocktail and wine. We'll be back. Had the hummus and deviled eggs. Nice and pleasant new addition to Overlook neighborhood.
