Bandits Bar And Grill

First time here at Bandits bar and grill, I have heard good things about this place from friends that live in the area and have stopped here when driving I84.First impression is cute bar/restaurant, the bartender/waitress was so welcoming and attentive.Ordered a beer and she advised the special of the day. I ordered a cup of the tri tip chili and the grilled chicken sandwich.The chili is really good! I'd defiantly order this again! The grilled chicken sandwich was good, the bun was perfect! The bar has a large outdoor area with tables set up to sit outside, perfect for evening time when the sun goes down but during the day and the sun there are umbrellas at each table.Over hearing others in the bar, they were loving the food. I will say the food is coming out fast.The only negative comment is AC seemed to maybe not working to blow cooler air but still was comfy.I looked at the Facebook page for bar and I can see why people have a good time here from the pictures post on the page.I will defiantly come back!!

If you're into drinking I'm sure this is a great place.I got referred to this place by someone local. I'm from out of town, and was hungry. I got the crab cake hush puppies and the salmon burger.The hush puppies were burned. All of them. I ate 2 of them because the parts that weren't burned tasted pretty good.The salmon burger was falling apart from the moment I touched it. Decided to cut it in half and try my luck that way. Overall the burger wasn't bad. It wasn't great either though. I was expecting more flavor. I understood what they were trying to do with the food and I appreciated the thought. Unfortunately the execution was lacking. I tipped generously because my server was also working the bar and greeting people but never forgot about me, so I appreciated it. My biggest suggestion is: consider paring down the menu. Get super good at 2 or 3 things. There may be some incredible food there, but I didn't get any of that. Probably won't be back...

This is a handsome neighborhood bar, with a lot of locals and a fun atmosphere. The service was always attentive without being in our face and super friendly, especially with us being our first time in. The food was an interesting dichotomy, they smoke their meat in house and the smoke chicken I had was incredibly tender and delicious. I had the enchiladas that they have on special occasionally. The enchilada sauce was odd, flavor was mild, tasty enough, but so mild it almost didn't add much, very little cheese as well. The wins were the meat, amazing!! The pico de gallo, so good! The rice was perfect and not broken. Lovely place to visit, especially if you are walking around downtown Troutdale. Price were reasonable too, especially in the area. Will likely go back to try just smoked meat because they know how!

Had to come back for the gizzards. So good. Good place to stop for a decent meal. I will be again soon!

Super friendly people and great food. They have a nice outdoor seating area, too. They play a lot of country music, which isn't my jam but everything else makes up for it.

Fun little bar! Stopped in on our way to see some water falls and we really enjoyed the town. The food here was good and the server was so kind and quick to recommend food items! Love that they also have outdoor seating.

This is a good neighborhood bar with some expertly smoked food. Small bar with standard on taps and liquors. The thing that stands out here is the food. Much of it is smoked, and expertly so. I had the smoked meatloaf sandwich, and it was really good. The meat is cut and then gently, perfectly smoked so you get the flavor all over the meat. Very basic seasoning highlights the smoke, and some competent crispy fries accompanied. The people are super nice, service was excellent, music is on point if you dig 80's, and the bar is clean and interesting to look at.

The food was great but the gizzards were the highlight of the meal since it's so hard to find a restaurant that serves them. The service was great. The atmosphere was awesome with all the western paraphernalia all around like wanted posters and horse tack.

I was recently at Bandits and the experience was awesome. The cute little server is a rockstar.!Clean, fun and great hang out for a Gathering delicious food and drink and atmosphere with exceptional service. Why are you just reading this go there now
