Backcountry is my new favorite wine spot in Portland! I've been here three times and it's always been an incredible experience. The space is large and perfect for accommodating groups of family/friends. They have a fantastic selection of Oregon wines and offer a really thoughtful ever-changing wine flight. We have been served by Connor and Jack (the owner) who were so knowledgeable when detailing each wine we tried. They made the wines feel approachable and fun. We recently joined their wine club and are so excited for the first shipment. Cannot suggest enough!

Great wine bar with friendly and knowledgeable servers. They have a great selection of PNW wines and always have interesting options for flights/glasses/bottles available. And Jack is the best! Also, I held a birthday party for my wife here and everything went great. Definitely would recommend for a private event space.
