Absolutely love this place. I've been holding out on this place for too long.. I've been here for the past three days in a row. I'm pretty addicted to this teriyaki chicken they have. It's literally the greatest thing right now. The flavor is off the chain. The Mac salad is incredibly awesome too. I called here two days in a row, asking for them to really char the hell out of my chicken and make it black and they deliver every single time. It's my favorite way of chicken to be cooked on a grill charred dark. The pictures I've uploaded doesn't give it any justice. It was absolutely amazingly incredible.. Today's the first day I got the butter mochi and it was insanely good.. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I need a branch out and try more things... but.. like I said I'm pretty addicted to this teriyaki chicken right now damn good. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. It won't disappoint.. Oh yeah the chicken portions are huge.

Not my favorite Hawaiian food in the city. Mac salad was good and chicken katsu sandwich was okay. Better after getting some extra sauce, it was better. Service was great despite it being busy and the decor was nice too.

The short rib plate is not worth the price. This is the first time I've paid $26 for a plate that didn't come with cabbage underneath it. Plus, the marinade was too salty. It's a first and last for me.

I've walked by here every 6 weeks for the last 3 years and thought to myself that I should try it...well I finally did and I'm sad I waited so long to do it. I had the chicken katsu with rice and mac salad. It. Was. Bomb!I didn't really like the katsu sauce because it was a bit too sweet for me but the teriyaki sauce though...omg...the mac salad was also delish.The service was great and the inside of the restaurant is really cute.

It's been awhile since I've gotten food from this Ate-Oh-Ate, and I while I've always been happy with it in the past, tonight was a real disappointment. We ordered delivery and I ordered the chicken teriyaki with mac salad and green salad (no rice). The green salad was fresh and crispy and the only decent part of my meal. There was rice in my dish (I didn't order or want that) but it looked like someone took a few bites of it before they closed the lid?! Maybe that or they did a half assed job of "taking it out"?! (See the photo.) The chicken was simultaneously burnt to a crisp and ice cold. Seriously, how? I gave three stars because they did follow our special instructions, and my husband was satisfied with his meal. But will I get food from here again? Nope.

We frequent this spot frequently! So good! Love both the Teriyaki and korean Chicken plates! We get food to go when in a pinch and orders are made quickly and also enjoy dinning in as the place has a fun yet casual atmosphere.

I've eaten here probably 30 times in the last year and been generally satisfied each time. Solid Hawaiian food. This time was the first negative experience I've ever had. I ordered chicken katsu which comes with white rice, Mac salad, and the katsu sauce. In addition, I ordered a spam musubi and a green salad.There must have been some communication error because the Mac salad was not present, instead replaced by the green salad on the ticket and the katsu sauce was accidentally left out of the box. The staff was accommodating and apologetic when I called. The reason I'm writing this review is because the food was almost inedible without the dipping sauce and macaroni salad. The chicken was extremely dry and flavorless. The green salad was kind of sad which is to be expected of a fast food restaurant but the dressing seriously has NO flavor. Staff was great and accommodating, just had an off moment. Recipe needs to be reworked!

I plan to go back and order more food from them. The only thing I've ever had is their Big Salad and it was REALLY good. I had it with their teriyaki chicken and I added extra kimchi and mac salad. I would definitely get this again but would probably want to explore more of their menu too. They gave me a very generous portion of chicken which I really appreciated so I definitely want to return and I plan to update the review when I had some more of their food options!

Food here is ok but the pork, chicken, and even tofu are way too salty. The pork is mouth-puckering salty! They would do well to use a low-salt soy or teriyaki sauce, though I doubt this place would accept the possibility of change.
