I am very pleased to provide this review to Andina restaurant. I made a reservation for dinner last night to propose my girlfriend to be officially my girlfriend. I planned to have a bouquet of roses and some petals on the table for the occasion, and the restaurant kindly accepted and helped me with the setup of everything. It was a big surprise to see the great support that I had from the staff. It was a great night and all went smooth, as planned. I would like to recognize the effort on this, specially to Jose Rodriguez and all hosts. The food was amazing as well! Excellent cuisine! Thanks a lot, Andina.

5 stars for service and ambiance. It's place to bring friends and hangout and have small plates. Drinks were on point. Not a place to have proper dinner. Food - appetizers were great. We ordered Anticucho de Pollo and Corazon . Salsa that they came with were excellent. Yuca fries were absolutely delicious. Full plates were mediocre. Lomo saltado was over cooked and also dry. I ordered camarones y almejas and I must say neither the Camerones nor the Clams were the star of the dish. There were 7 big chunks of potatoes, served with 3 shrimp and 3 clams.

Atmosphere: Sophisticated, upscale without being dressy.Food: Loved the ceviche, which was probably the highlight. Salad was a big miss. The Lomo Salgado was a good portion size and overall pretty good, but the meat was a bit overcooked and frankly, I've had equally delicious Lomo Saltado from food carts. The Pollo a La Parilla was pretty good, but not cheap for chicken.Price: Prices are high for what it is. Granted, it's an upscale restaurant that is popular so no surprise but expect to pay more for the name and experience than for the best Peruvian food in the area.Service: Service was good. We changed our reservation multiple times and they were always very accommodating.Parking: Street parking.

Best Peruvian food I've ever had, and with such a nice dining experience. We made a reservation in advance so we were seated immediately upon arrival. We got a nice booth and it felt like we had our privacy so we can be present for one another. The yuca frita was a nice starter. The lomo saltado was delicious with tender meat chunks. I loved the addition of tomatoes to this dish. The arroz con mariscos was muah; scarf that down! Flavorful rice with a variety of seafood. I have had similar dishes at other restaurants and these plates at Andina were the best executed and tastiest versions! The sprinkles on top was when the owner came around to greet us. It was warm and welcoming, and a nice touch to our experience. I highly recommend coming here when you're around the area, or make the trip here!

I've been a little delayed in my reviews. I may gorget the name if some of the cocktails but will remember the food and service. This place was great and amazing. A very short walk from the train stop and a very nice setting. There are two side this place. I captured the dining area as this was where we were seated. The food was delicious and the drinks were not watered down. Service was great.

This food was very very delicious. The empanadas were great and so was the paella + the yuca fries, and we loved the pisco sours. A festive feeling spot, there were a few birthdays happening. Service was quick and attentive and it was a fun place to be. The restaurant was cool.

Food is above average, but not outstanding. The ceviche portion is comically small (the actual seafood part). The flavor for that dish is on point. Also had the arroz con mariscos, which was infinitely better than the gnocchi. Presentation of the dishes was excellent.Cocktails were good and atmosphere is nice. Service slowed down at the end of the night but overall still a very good experience

Not only was this one of the best meals we've eaten in Portland, but the staff was incredible! We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a sweet little dessert with a candle. Ambiance was lovely with candles and plants everywhere. We will definitely be back!
