ORDERED: Lamb Gyro & Regular FriesFOOD QUALITY: Pre-formed lamb strips. Fries Typically, in a gyro the ingredients trail off to the rear because of the horns shaped sandwich style. But the ingredients disappeared as it got to the back of the sandwich.GRYO FLAVOR: There was no spice in the meat.Gyros is my favorite meal, I I was so disappointed with the first bite.FRIES FLAVOR: The fries were so good you get a lot of fries for six bucks. I'm supposed to be watching what I eat so I was convinced to only eat half but damn if I didn't need the whole thing. it tasted like truffle oil (probably not) but I just could not stop eating them.SERVICES: I asked if they were forks and napkins in the bag. But I had to eat without any napkinsAMBIANCE: downtown Portland in a prison yard. Everyone's doing their best with what they got. This place needs a second security guard. I'd be careful if I brought children here. It can be tight quarters so careful for your valuables. Stay Frosty!

Good textures: nice crispy falafel, soft pita. Freshly made and good service. I recommend this food cart if you're in the mood for middle eastern food.

Really good food, and nice people. Lamb gyro and salad-- good flavors, nice balance, and the meat was well prepared. Would definitely go there again.

If I could put zero stars I would. I never write reviews but I'm appalled at the service and the language and the treatment that I experienced here. The owner I assume/ main worker because he was working alone. Was extremely rude and beyond disrespectful to his customers including myself and my boyfriend. We spent $30 on a half filled box of french fries that were cold and veggie spring rolls that. tasted sour and were uncooked completely on the inside. They have no sweet-and-sour sauce they will try to hand you hot sauce or honey mustard. Everything is overpriced all the ingredients involved and the oil that they use is the cheapest one available. And the best part is when we went back to the owner to complain he took the spring rolls behind the counter started touching them multiple times then tried to re-hand them back to us took them back again behind the counter continuing to argue and yell at us while guess what? Continuing to touch them literally every single individual one with his hands while he was using who knows what with the same gloves he had prior to our in-counter. Hey continued to yell at us and then force us to take them back saying he cannot do anything and that we purchased them and he wouldn't give us some thing else in exchange for them even though what I wanted was a few dollars cheaper than what I had originally bought. We asked for a refund he refused. And I reminded him that at every other restaurant that I go to if a situation like this was to happen not only with the restaurant replace my meal but they would also give me an extra one as well and give me my money back. He continue to yell and be completely inappropriate while we stood there until eventually I believe he felt embarrassed because there was people get a gathering around waiting to order so he handed us a $10 bill and told us to get out in the way. Never have I ever experience this with any restaurant food cart or any type of customer service. I'm a palled they would even allow somebody who treats customers like this to work in the hospitality industry. The food is trash and I will never go here again and if I were you I wouldn't either doesn't matter how drunk you are. Stay away from this food cart it's trash and so are the employees

Best street truck for a lamb gyro. We stayed in a hotel near by and this was definitely a late night dinner go to. The food is cooked fresh to order and the sides are way more than you can handle. I would definitely suggest this spot for late night cravings or dinner time. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered their lamb gyro to try something new on this block and it was TERRIBLE. I waited close to 10 min for it and then when I got it wasn't even warm. You only get about 4 small slices of lamb and the rest is mayo and shredded iceberg and on a super dry pita. It was prob one of the worst things I have eaten in Portland.

Curiously, there aren't any reviews yet. I stopped by for an evening snack. I liked how they have small and large sizes for lots of their sandwiches which is just what I wanted. The person working the food cart tonight was super friendly and seemed to know his way around the kitchen. The food was pretty standard and came out pretty quickly. The flavors were pretty decent, and I appreciated that my small chicken shawarma automatically came with hummus inside it. I'd come back again if I were looking for just a smidgen of food in the area.

Alibaba Takeaway is a food cart in the recently renovated Midtown Beer Garden food cart pod in Portland. I ordered the Super Lamb Gyro, ($11.99) which was described as having 6 lamb slices, feta cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatziki on a pita bread with garlic sauce. My sandwich also had some French Fries in it that I hadn't ordered. (Perhaps I was upgraded because of long wait??)The food was very tasty, and the quantity was good. The gentleman in the cart was also nice enough. However, it took a REALLY long time (20+ minutes) to get my order. I hadn't realized that others had ordered immediately before me. I was first waiting standing outside the food cart in the hot sun. Then, I moved to the shaded spot between two food trucks, still standing. I started to wonder if my call button was broken. Then my husband came looking for me. (He had gone to another food cart and had gotten his food long before I did). Just I had gone back to the truck to check on its status, the buzzer went off.

Food was extremely delicious and fresh. Lady and the kid were extremely polite and friendly. Service and fresh food, doesn't get better than that. Beef shawarma and beef kebabs were yummy. Best shawarma spot in town. Thank you
