Flat-out GREAT. I did a carry-out order via their website ordering partner, because with the COVID FLiRT variants slaying, I'm not eating in indoor public spaces. Order was ready right on time, the woman who delivered it to me at the register was kind and pleasant. The quality of the fish was excellent, and the prices (which many people have mentioned in reviews) really were that good! I plated it when I got home, and what's in the photo cost me $22.87, INCLUDING a 20% tip. Definitely my new go-to for sushi.

It's cheap. Some people seem to be happy with it. Maybe if I lost my taste due to COVID or never had good sushi, I would be happy with it. But I agree with other reviews that everything tastes a little off, but mostly like cardboard. They also have rolls that are almost all rice and/or "krab" but very little fish. It's frustrating, but they're probably doing you a favor. I did find it clean, though, contrary to some other reviewers. So, there's that.

Another fantastic lunch at Akira Sushi!Today I decided to try the Chicken Katsu Don. It was very good. The chicken was very tender. The cucumber salad tasted very fresh and the portion of rice was very generous.

I visited Akira with friends on a Sunday night. The restaurant was slow and we were seated immediately. As soon as we sat down we were brought waters and could just start grabbing sushi immediately. Each player represents a different priced role and they even have appetizers like calamari, edamame etc.The food was decent. I've definitely had better sushi but I thought the pricing was really fair (some rolls under $4?). Akira was out of a few items but you can find a server and order any rolls from the menu that they don't have. This was fun and I would definitely come again if I was a local!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - we arrived around 11:30 when the restaurant just opened so other than the nigiri, other options weren't quite available on the rotating belt yet. We picked up a few nigiri and a chef's special roll. The rice was a bit disappointing as it was a bit dry (day old or not cooked properly?) which affected everthing we ate. The salmon and tuna were decent by themselves though! Ambience: 4/5 - spacious and clean. We didn't care for the staff screaming across the restaurant at each other as it was fairly quiet initially. Service: 5/5 - to the point and quick to address us. Slight communication difficulties but no issues overall. Value for price: 4/5 - okay food but quick service. Not the best sushi but hits the spot

WORST SUSHI EVER !!! Order California rolls and the California rolls were just imitation crab, no avocado or cucumber. Gave me one mayo sauce, for a $40. Order Complained when I asked for more mayo sauce. Gave me re heated food , the food was stale , the lack of customers service is ridiculous , found hair on my food. The bathrooms was dirty when I was there, so were the cups for soda , not properly cleaned

Horrible experience!! It's not even their first time messing up our order. We asked them to put no yellow fish, crab, tuna. But they did not even follow the instructions that we added. Rude customer service as soon as we came in. It seems like they do not understand English very well and gets irritated very quickly. Would not recommend coming back here.

Ambiance is strange. No music, and super bright white lights. Sushi was not fresh and the restaurant was dirty. Service was quick. Mochi was store bought and rock solid? Wouldn't want to go again but it was cheaper than other places!

Ordered via DoorDash. Arrived quickly so I was cautious. The eggs roll were cold and a bit soggy. The tempura was cold also. I ordered three rolls and got nothing that I ordered. The rolls tasted like they had been sitting on the conveyor belt for a while and not made to order. Total disappointment.
