5 & Dime

I love the drinks at the 5 & Dime. Am I crushed that they took deviled eggs off the menu? Absolutely. Will I still go? Yes. You know what I love, almost as much as the awesome interior and the portrait of Anthony Bourdain by Ben Hucke? How awesome the bartenders are. I will never again walk into a place and think, damn, I look good! I am a nerd who brings books to bars (and everywhere else for that matter). Never, from the busiest day to the slowest, do they not treat me well. One star off because when I asked for a drink that was less sweet and included vodka, the bartender seemed unable to improvise. But please! I still got an amazing drink.

We used to love this place. I think it's still cute, but unfortunately the cocktails are no longer balanced, the service is sub par and borderline rude and the environment seems to be going down hill quick. It's becoming more of a dive and less of a nice cocktail spot. If I accept it as a dive, I think I'll be more keen to return.

Nice staff but understaffed....had to wait in line 10 min for a beer ...place not that busy for a wait like that.

This place is awesome if you like muddy dogs jumping on you when you walk in the door, and bad reggae music played way too loud. Not sure why they are so set on violating my ears with the music and the health code with the dogs. To their credit they do make good hot dogs, which I think come from Atlas next door.

LOVE this bar. Big shout out to one bartender there (i think named maddie?) who played great music at the perfect volume, is friendly but firm in the perfect bartender way and makes delicious cocktails every time. They don't get paid enough at this spot and I will definitely be coming back !

Grabbed some goodies with the family and they never disappoint. On point every time! We got the Clover Club, Mai Tai, Shirley Temple, Coney Dog, and another one that I of course can't remember but it had bacon, guacamole, garlic mayo, and lots of other delicious condiments. The place is amazing, super cute and comfortable inside and outside. Minors are allowed up to a certain time which is great since I have two littles. Staff is super nice, helpful and talented. Just make sure to look at the menus at their actual location for what they currently offering. If you haven't been there yet, check them out

Super cute cocktail bar that serves hot dogs. They sub out veggie dogs at no additional cost :) The ambience was great and the food came out quick.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the Cuban sandwich was better than I expected. The space was just the right size and not too crowded. I ordered a chocolate/orange type of mixed drink. If you like that flavor combo then that's the drink for you. You have to order food and drinks at the bar and they bring it to you.

5 stars for the food. 5 stars for the decor and attention to detail. 3 stars for the consistency of the service. Very cool spot in FoPo. Happy to have this place renovate a once dilapidated building into an art deco inspired cocktail bar. The food was small, artisan style plates but absolutely delicious. We ended up ordering another round of plates to try more. We loved the wagyu skewers and the shrimp. Get em! The cocktail menu lists many classics with a few twists and unique creations. I loved the little touches like the leather menu holders that had pages like a notebook and the sketched portrait of Anthony Bourdain on the wall. Cushy bar stools around the bar, a few tables and a few horseshoe booths. I love the vibe and look.The bar staff was OK but could have been more personable. Thank you for bringing a place like this to FoPo. It was a full house tonight so your local residents are happy to have you here!

Lol this place is just hilarious. My boyfriend and I came to eat at Atlas Pizza. We got a table here so we could have drinks with the pizza. Table was never wiped down prior to us sitting there. Waitress takes our drink order and comes back with our drinks. We ask for water and she tells us there is a water station and then goes and talks to her friends table. Tf does a place have a waitress for if they can't get you water? Because of this we didn't tip. Sorry but like tf did you do OTHER THAN YOUR JOB that you get paid hourly for??? It would be one thing if she was swamped but she went and chatted with her friends. Then as we were leaving she told her friends we didn't leave a tip and they flipped us off on the way out. Heres the thing.. tips are earned. She didn't earn it. The drinks were also terrible.
