If you haven't stopped by you are truly missing out ! We use WIC checks which are expected here . The vendors are amazing from the seaback winery, succulents, cookie stand and awesome plant starts. Everyone here is just genuine. I enjoy taking my two year old here to enjoy the vendors . Food. Sometimes music and then to walk around the water . It's a great afternoon outing for our family . They have a Facebook bags that you can see all vendors who will be there, place orders with those vendors so when you arrive you can just pick up your goods so you won't be afraid of them running out . Which is a brilliant idea ! Love coming here and they are open during COVID .

Considering the small size of the Port Orchard community, this is a pretty decent little Farmer's Market. Most Saturdays during the season, there are lots of farmers selling veggies, plants, and craft foods (honey, jams, etc.) along with lots of crafting. They rarely have "spam" booths (real estate, dental offices, junk like that). The WSU Kitsap Extension "Master Gardeners" are there every Saturday as well to answer questions about plants you may have in your yard and garden. As the summer progresses, they will also bring in live bands to play in the band stand (with lots of seating to watch). The only down side is for some reason they just never have many food carts. I don't know why. This last Saturday, there was just the "$3 boiled 6-inch hotdog on plain white bun" - that was it. Sure a small hot dog can be OK and all, but it would be nice if the organizers reached out to the "food cart community" to invite a few more choices. But all in all, this is a nice little market. Note that parking is not fun - best to park "out in the town" and walk in if you're able. But just be patient and you'll find a spot.

Shocked. Absolutely shocked. I live in Des Moines and didn't really have high hopes for the Farmer's Market in Port Orchard. Why? Well, I dunno, maybe because the one in Des Moines is so disappointing. Yes, this upsets me to no end, which is why I just could not believe my eyes when I visited the POFM.Plants? Yes! Kettle corn? Yes! Veggies? Well, yeah, there were some, but it's still a little early. What they excelled in were plants. I love me some plants. Unfortunately, I had many of the ones they were offering, but there were also small trees that I might have considered if I had the cash and space. But, the best part...the seafood guy. Clams for $4/lb. Oysters for $4.50/dozen. And it's the good stuff, yo. Lovely clams that cry for a delicate steam bath in butter, garlic, onion, tomato, ginger, a little soy sauce and a splash of beer or whatever booze you happen to have on hand. And the oysters? Don't you dare cook those sweet babies. So briny and buttery they're an orgasm on a half shell. Oh, maybe I should have kept it a secret...

This farmer's market is enjoyable enough. If you're a plants freak, you'll enjoy the selection. Several local farmer's also come with veggies to sell and there are a handful of crafts to be had. Unfortunately, the crafts are mostly of the "I wouldn't take that home with me even if it were free" variety. Like the guy who sells aquariums made out of discarded wine bottles. I'm all for recycling, but no thanks. Still, the Port Orchard Farmer's Market on Saturday is a good time if you're in the neighborhood and looking to kill a few minutes. Parking is tight and the market itself is pretty small so don't bend over backwards trying to get here. But if you're on the hunt for adorable hand stitched kitchen tea towels with old timey day of the week patterns, this place is for you. You can pick up a set of 7 for $28! So if that is your thing, perhaps it is worth bending over backwards to get here.

I love this place! Every Saturday you can find SOMETHING here. The food: The oysters are kick ass (clams, too). Breakfast sandwiches...OMG try the croissant with bacon. YUM! Poulsbo smoked salmon and cheeses, such a good deal! The cupcakes, the scones, the tarts...holy crap, I am in gastronomical heaven. BUT pass on the fake BBQ...the pulled pork sandwich was trash. And expensive. The Chamorro food was meh...the lumpia was really crappy. BUT they had awesome mini donuts. The plants and veggies: Early in the season there's not much to be said. But right now they have super yummy asparagus and a whole bunch of other things. Tons of starters, too, if you are the gardening type. The crafts...lol...it's all kitschy, but it's ummmm...Port Orchard? Anyway...it's there. A few wood crafters, tie dye, knitting, balloon twisters, just stuff....This isn't Ballard...but it is great in it's own respect.

Great little market and the perfect place to pick up local seafood for a bargain. We made a special stop just to buy medium oysters for $10 a dozen. Nice little treat!!! They were fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back for more.

While the market is small, we have enjoyed purchasing some of the fresh flowers, produce, and treats available from the assembled, local vendors. We would love to see the market expand in coming years, but for now, it's nice to have this offering available within a short drive of our home.Pro Tip: Try the Key Lime Pie on a Stick! It's truly delicious!

It's very small for a true farmers' market but held in a beautiful place. Just wish there were more food/meal options.

A cute little farmers market in downtown Port Orchard. It's not super big, but their selection of local products, produce, flowers, and more are worth a stop-by, especially if you just so happen to be in the area.During COVID-19, they're encouraging social distancing, all the vendors have hand sanitizers at their booths, and there's even a sanitation table when you walk in to make sure you're germ-free (or as much as you can be.)If you're looking for a mid-morning stroll while enjoying some coffee, or just want to check this out and some of the neat antique stores nearby, it's a great way to spend a Saturday morning while getting some outdoorsy time too. It's also water adjacent, so you can sit and watch the water/boats when the weather is nice to pass the time too!Plenty of free parking in the area, just watch the signs as some of the spots are designated strictly for loading and unloading.
