If I could give half of a star I would. My fiance and I stopped by for a quick bite and drink. We passed by this place and it seemed super chill and cool vibes and they had an amazing bar. We ordered 2 micheladas and they were really good. So shout out to the bartender. We then tried to order food and had a few questions about the menu. The waiter came by and waited there for like 2 seconds then just walked away as we were deciding what to order. To me that was a reason to leave and not buy any food. Not the best customer service. DO NOT GO HERE!! Unless you want shitty customer service

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this restaurant was after seeing the reviews it had. I had their wet burrito which was super good. It was good portioning and it had me full at the end. The red sauce was tastier and wasn't as spicy as the green sauce. You're able to choose if you want both sauces of just one. We also got their enchiladas with rice/beans which was good as well. If you're looking to be more satisfied, I'd recommend the burrito. The service here was good. Our server was nice and helpful and our food was made kind of quick. The pricing was too bad. The wet burrito was $17, while the enchiladas were $18. The other food items aren't that friendly on your wallet. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. There were a lot of seats and it gave off a nice vibe. It's a cool place to eat and hangout with your friends

Yummy food and a nice vibe! We booked a spot here for a large group and came during their happy hour. The exterior doesn't look like too much, but once you're inside its so cool! The lighting is dim, and the space is huge - there are so many tables and nice lights. We were at a high top table which was fun, and had great consistent service throughout the night. We ordered the salsa trio and guac to share for starters. The chips themselves were pretty good, and I especially liked the pico and red salsa. Guac was good too but nothing that special. I also got a mango margarita which was quite yummy - not too sweet and just the right amount. For the main dish I got the baja fish tacos, fried. I would highly recommend getting these! They're made with mahi mahi rather than the traditional cod so they taste slightly more fishy, but I kind of enjoyed that. The fish was fried perfectly so it was still moist, and the sauce and toppings paired so well on the fresh corn tortilla. The rice and beans that were served on the side were also fantastic - I'm usually not that big a fan of these but I absolutely loved the ones here. Great spot for some Mexican food in capitol hill!

Best Mexican food and margaritas, great atmosphere, and very clean restrooms. Worth the trip from the downtown tourist areas.

Poquitos is a great spot for the vibes and the drinks (and in this case, chips and guacamole). Their margaritas are pretty and colorful and tasty. I usually always sit out on the covered back patio bar section, where there are fires and cool looking wrought iron fencing. The food is meh, and always comes out suspiciously fast. I think this is a great spot for happy hour or pre-dinner drinks, but I'd most always recommend grabbing dinner elsewhere --and there are tons of options around.

Great happy hour ambiance, especially with the walls up to let in the outside air! Had a nice and crisp poquitos margarita, fresh and melty nachos, and some warm beef flautas. Excellent service as well!

Great service and the food was also very tasty. I do think the prices are slightly inflated for the portions you receive but the developed flavor is there. Don't expect to take any leftovers home. The chips and salsa was excellent with a variety of salsa dips. The dessert churros were also a pleasant sweetness. I can't remember the last time I had a churro. (But I do remember Costco's large churro was a little tastier). Maybe I loved sugar things more when I was younger though. The carne Asada meat was cooked well and my husband loved the homemade tortillas. It just wasn't a large portion with the small side of rice & beans. I really liked the fish tacos because they had lots of flavor with different textures from the cabbage and the panko crusty fish. Overall it was a great meal. Just wish we would have received more bang for our buck.

The best Mexican food I have had in Seattle!I came here to meet with a visiting friend and her husband for lunch. Even though it was a Friday, it was relatively busy! However, we were seated quickly and placed our orders soon after.I love how vegetarian friendly the options were, and that there were different variations! This definitely made it much easier for my vegetarian friend. We started off with Kale and Mushroom Nachos to share - and let me just say, they were incredible. I was skeptical about kale in Mexican food, but they blended in with the rest of the flavors easily, and actually added an additional texture that fit so well. They were extremely generous with cheese and guacamole so that every chip had enough. For our entrees, my friend got to pick between cauliflower and kale/mushroom tacos, which meant that she didn't have the same flavor twice. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and it was so worth it. The shrimp was crispy, flavorful, and not greasy from the frying at all. The soft and sweet tomatoes complemented the slightly crunchy lettuce perfectly. Plus, with the cilantro lime cream sauce, each bite was a flavor explosion. Plus, they came with rice and beans, and I ended up having leftovers for the evening!I had a phenomenal time and am so glad I came by! I will absolutely choose here any time I crave Mexican from now on.

We were walking through Capitol Hill when we ran across Poquitos. It's a very well decorated restaurant with excellent music. We stopped by for more of a happy-hour styled visit. They have an indoor and outdoor seating option (with more limited seating outdoors). You can also reserve your spot through OpenTable. We ordered an horchata (non-alcoholic), a Caipirinha (alcoholic) and the Tres Amigos which was chips & 3 different kinds of dips. It was a yummy combo. Staff was attentive and we got our orders quick. Check out their website for specials on Mezcal Mondays and Tequila Tuesdays! On the more expensive side, but still a great option if you're in the area.

5 stars for the service alone. 4 stars for the food. My sister and I took mom here for Mother's Day brunch. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated right away. Our server, Desta (sp?) treated us like royalty - one of the best service experiences I've had in Seattle. She was kind, quick, and extremely personable. The brunch here is underrated and selfishly, I'd like to keep it hidden. Brunch items include: chicken and churros, Texas breakfast tacos, and chilaquiles! Bottomless mimosas for $25/person and each item averaging ~$15 - I would say it's pretty affordable.
