Okay so this was my second time @ Pop's and it was just as Good this time as Well. I was so Hungry that I forgot to take pictures of our food; Sorry not sorry . I had the combo Italian beef and sausage with onion rings; it was Delicious. My cousin had the Shrimp po-boy which looked really tasty and she said it was Great. Glad that we managed to miss the lunch crowd because on my first visit we were in the Thick of it, however the foods So Good I barely noticed . They offer catering and Daily Specials. Pop's is A Must Do when in the neighborhood. Enjoy because We Sure Did. Bravo

Every time I'm back in the Chicagoland area I have to get a Italian beef sandwich! Non-negotiable, this is a must! Man am I glad we found Pop's Italian beef on the way back to our hotel. The sandwich was excellent! I mean it tasted like my childhood memories on a bun! And the staff was very helpful as well. Especially because, even though my group are Chicago natives, we moved away from Chicago years ago and had a few questions about the menu. The next time I'm in town to visit family, I will be back for sure. I can already taste my next sandwich!

I will admit the main reason for stopping at this Pop's location besides being in the area, is that participate in a airline rewards program. Ordered my standard meal; beef, fries, and a drink. Asked for my beef "dry" and my drink with no ice. Since they have no self serve drinks here, so you have the employee fill it for you.The issues; the beef even though it was piping hot, it was dipped beyond imagination. It was a mess to eat and the bun was starting to spit about half way through. Asked for no ice and the first the girl does is to fill the cup with ice. Also the fries were under cooked.When I looked at the receipt, it did say no ice on it. But instead of the beef dry, it said dipped, so I can't complain about the cook making the mistake.

Absolutely love this place. It's my regular go to for hotdog and fries. I'm never disappointed here and those French fries are the bomb. So good. I usually eat the fries before I start on my hotdog. And I also like the pizza puffs. Good job Pops! Portillo in Homewood should take some lessons on hotdog preparation. Just saying!

Not only is this place absolutely filthy, the food is horrible! I have eaten at Pops in Dyer indiana and the food is delicious! So when I was passing by this one I decided to stop in for a bite to eat. What a mistake this was. I ordered an Italian sausage with peppers and small fry. The only thing that was hot were the peppers. The sausage was not only cold but was flavorless . It had no char on it and was gray in color. I took a bite and disposed of it in the garbage along with the ice cold fry's. Extremely disappointed. I will never eat at this establishment again. It was obvious that no one took any pride in the food or cleanliness of this place.
