Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

i don't usually give any ratings that are less than three stars, but after the experience that me and my older sister have had at this location last night i unfortunately had to make an exception. my sister had placed an order via popeyes' mobile app approximately an hour prior to our arrival. so far, everything seemed to be going swimmingly as we pulled into the drive thru. my sister let one of the workers know that she had a mobile order, and we were told to pull up to one of the windows. some of the other workers told us that the food would be a bit of a wait and that we should park near the front entrance. alright, no biggie. this wasn't too unusual so i initially didn't mind it. when one of the workers gave us our order, my sister looked through the bag and noticed that one of the drinks were missing and the strawberry biscuits were nowhere to be found. for context, we ordered 4 three-piece chicken meals for ourselves, our parents, and our younger sister. an extra order of fries alongside strawberry biscuits were also part of our order as well. the drinks we ordered were a coke, a sprite, and a strawberry fanta and two out of the four orders were requested to be spicy instead of regular. after a few minutes, my sister went inside to receive our missing drink and we drove back home. we were both under the impression that the errors in our order were corrected. imagine our surprise when we arrived back home and ALL of the three-piece combos were regular instead of spicy and our strawberry biscuits were AWOL. to be honest, my grievances are more towards management rather than the workers. through the drive thru window, i caught a glimpse of the workers and saw that they were teenagers. since this was most likely one of their first experiences with a job, i'm not angry with them and i understand how difficult this type of work can be despite how deceptively easy it appears. i added one star since i was starving and was ready to eat. the exterior and interior of the location looked clean, so i guess that was another silver lining. overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience and it would be best to take your patronage to any other popeyes location elsewhere.

Keep an eye on those bank statements folks!!So the wife and I stopped at this Popeye's prior to starting our Amazon Flex shift as we figured we should get some sustenance prior to delivering those sweet sweet Amazon packages. Unfortunately we chose a location that was a complete trainwreck, right down to the employee "working" the drive through.It was a simple order. Nothing anyone with a few working braincells couldn't handle. Two chicken sandwich combos, one with out Mayo. I'm pretty sure the antisocial toddler who took our order was enjoying their first day on planet Earth. She fills our sodas right away and let them sit in the window under the hot sun to get nice and watery for us. Which is really a moot point because I think they haven't cleaned the soda machines since they opened the store. It's pretty hard to screw up soda but these guys were totally up for the challenge. We proceeded to wait 10 more minutes watching the soda sit while our dry mouth begged for just a tiny bit of salivation. The long wait was for them to make ONE of the sandwiches fresh while dishing out old fries and one old sandwich, all of which were ice cold. At last we get the food. Had to remind her of the sodas since she tried shutting the window before giving them to us. My wife's sandwich had about a pube hair's worth of spicy sauce. Mine had a whopping amount of mayo (remember i said no mayo earlier?) and no pickles. The employee's brain clearly heard mayo and thought pickles I guess. Not the end of the world but annoying to say the least.Here's where the fun part begins. Our bill was 20.65 and that's what our receipt says. After checking our bank statement we noticed this girl added an extra 20% (almost down to the penny) onto our bill after the fact. Which means this scholar of an employee decided to help herself to a tip after we left. So the amount on our statement said 24.78. Clearly this girl doesn't think people follow up on charges. We couldn't return immediately since we had to start our delivery shift. But we called for hours and kept getting nothing but a busy signal so clearly they weren't interested in phone calls. We called the corporate number and supplied screenshots of bank statement and receipt and an investigation has been started. I'm not holding my breath but we'll see what happens.So again, check your bank statement immediately after if you actually decide to risk ordering from this place. These people have their hands in your pocket. You have been warned!

I try hard to not give 1 or 2 stars, you need mess things up big. I was craving fried chicken, I was nearby and it showed this location as .5 miles so I am on my way. Only a family of 5 was ahead of me ordering. Then the staff walked away. I had to wait 10 mins before anyone came back. I looked around and most of the tables were dirty and then I noticed the floor, WOW. I should have walked out and gone to Cane's. I stood in line to order, then heard a few more people behind me. I placed my order for a 3pc meal with a side and drinks. Got a soda and sat at a table that I wiped down. 15 mins later they finally called me, I got meal and everything was cooked well and tasted food.

Well my husband was wrapping up a job in the area he has been working at for the past year. His mobile office has been all packed up for puck-up so no more homemade lunches. He has always been a suckered for Popeye's mashed potatoes and gravy. Thr location was visually clean except when stepping on the floor there was thick grease everywhere sticking to his shoes. Spillage? Pretty gross and he had to take a lot of time to clean it off not to ruin the clients new build out when returning to work. I am sure he didn't want it in his truck as well. The sandwich had a big piece of grizzle in the middle so half went in the trash. He enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy, but longed for more gravy.

Ok here's the scoop the saying goes bad experience shame on you, But go back to get this place a second chance SHAME ON ME this place has no sense of urgency with there customers .I had to just walk out after standing at the register to place an order after 8 minutes not being acknowledged just want to Portillo's across the way.In and out with great customer service. The management to this Popeyes restaurant really needs to evaluate and train the current staff working there today!! lower buckeye Popeyes is where people need to go for great customer service, the Popeyes on McDowell Road has lost my business there won't be a third time.

I have loved Popeyes and been to many around the country and have yet to find a decent one in Phoenix.This one was the worst.Stale fries and biscuits. Very little meat on the chicken.The lemonade tasted off as did the Cole slaw.Wound up throwing most of it away.You might think with so much competition they would at least pretend to care.Just gross.

Omg no stars!!I ordered what I thought would be a quick lunch, I never eat junk anymore but was craving fried chicken. Ordered via DoorDash The store was out of Cole slaw at 1pm. What??Fries instead. I.got.five. Fries.Ordered regular, I got spicy. The biscuit was a dry hockey puck. Door dasher had to wait 10 minutes for my 3 piece meal order (!!!???)Yall need to be shut down! What a waste of space!!!

Came in trying to order a popcorn chicken meal, I was rung up for shrimp when my kids looked at the receipt, and I brought it to the attention of the cashier. The manager said they haven't had it in 5 years . I work in Scottsdale, and this is my go-to meal. He substituted it for tenders, and they were hard and not fresh for the time we waited. There were no lids for the drinks, and when I asked for ranch, I was ignored . Everything in a to go bag when dinning in.

So tired of getting the wrong order from this establishment. They can't get simple orders right not even tea vs sweet tea. They want more money but can't even do a simple job so sad. Never again they have officially lost our business.

don't waste your time at this location os all I have to say. Took the front counter worker 10ish mins to even acknowledge there were people waiting to be helped while having conversations with the mic with other workers in front of us. order a simple 3 piece tender combo, waited roughly 25 mins and when I asked about my order they had never made it or even began to start it. my lunch has ended for work and I still haven't eaten and not mention that I am type 1 diabetic. the way this location is managed is ridiculous and aside from the garbage customer service, the drink station is filled with spilled drinks and doesn't seem to be a problem or concern to anyone in the store.
