I am a Pop Pie stan. Truly one of the best establishments in San Diego. On the savory end, I absolutely love the Aussie pie, a warm meat pie filled with ground beef and veggies. It is my favorite and I always stock up on a few for my freezer to bake at home. They have some delicious sweet treats as well. I love the guava cream cheese hand pie and the chocolate cookies! During Valentine's Day, I always try to make my way over for the ube hand pies that are absolutely supreme. The best thing about this Pop Pie location is that they also are serving their Stella Jean ice creams next door. There are always a rotation of seasonal flavors, but the ube and pandesal is a classic. There is parking next to this location and you can order ahead to make your trip quick!

Awesome little spot with a great selection of savory and sweet pies. They also have ice cream by scoops and pints. Outdoor seating that seemed to be dog friendly. Key lime pie was my favorite. Not pictured was the lemon curd hand pie with icing we took home which was also delicious. Did not try the ice cream but it looked popular. Staff was nice and helpful. Place was very cute. Highly recommend.

parking: small lot but there's also street parking availablelocation: they share the same building as stella jean'swhat we ordered: - blueberry apple yuzu crumble ($7): overall, it had a unique flavor profile. at first, you're hit with the blueberry and apple compote and then there's a slight yuzu flavor that hits you at the end. main takeaway: the blueberry apple yuzu pie was interesting, but it wasn't my favorite pie. I'd probably try a savory one next time! :)

Oh, this place is so good and so bad for your health because you will eat so much pie and so much ice cream and so much of everything they have. We got the Keylime pie and the Ube ice cream and my kids got the vanilla ice cream. Everything was just drool worthy and satisfying that you might throw discipline out the door. Service was quick and friendly, they let you try their ice cream flavors and if I may say it's worth trying everything. I didn't try the meat pies but the key lime pie was tarty and perfectly not too sweet. The crust was a bit tough but worth the fight to break it up. The shop had enough outdoor and indoor seating and water cups as a response to all the sugar you will consume.

Amazing pies! Little hidden gem serving pies, ice cream and coffee. Cute little shop but limited seating. Staff was friendly. Will return when in the area!

This place has me sold! Visited with a girlfriend recently and loved it. I ordered the Green Hog and Cheese Pop Pie, which had braised pork shoulder and peppers, and the Mushroom and Leek Quiche. The case of pies and goodies looked all so good. It tasted great too. The Green Hog pie had a lot of flavor, tender pork, and nice crust. The quiche was just as good in my opinion. Those two items together were a perfect portion for me, not too light not too heavy. I will def come back! They even have goodies you can take home and bake mmmm. Service was super great from the gentleman during my visit. Not a very big shop but was able to snag a two top table. Next time I'll be back for the ice cream for sure!

really good food, but they were kind of rude and rushed. The apple pie had the perfect crumble and graham flavored crust.

Can't go wrong coming here and getting one of their delicious pies or cookies. They are very moist and soft as they are given to you at a good warm temperature.I'd give really 4.5 stars.Nothing bad about the place or the products, but it didn't give an over the top. Like I said you'll love coming here and I do encourage you to.

I'm glad that this location opened up not too far from one of my work locations. I hadn't been to either of the other locations before, but I knew what it was.The pies are really good, definitely on the gourmet side. Much fancier than SD Chicken Pie Shop, lol. The flavor I was surprised by the most was the curried veggie pie! It was delicious, and you don't even miss the meat. The curry gives it tons of flavor. I ate half of the one I got and half of the potatoes, and ate the rest as leftovers for another meal. The chicken pie was also good, but I ended eating all of that as a dinner. It's traditional, in that it cones with the standard chicken pie veggies inside.I haven't tried the breakfast items, or the desserts. I'll have to try those sometime soon.

Got the Aussie Meat & Steak-n-Ale. Soooo good! Perfect crispy, flaky crust. Filling was really tasty & stuffed pretty well. Just wish there were more veggies. Mashed was good & creamed had real cream. Tasty & great patio (good lighting & cool art). Noisy from club across the street. Very busy & active street. Parking is free for 2 hrs in slots 44-77 in parking behind building.
