We had another wonderful experience with Cyntia M as our server! When the onion soup was brought out, the person forgot a spoon. Cyntia was 15 to 20 feet away taking someone else's order, and after she finished, she rushed over with her wooden box and gave me the soup spoon. What amazing Observation and attention to detail! The soup was just OK however. I highly recommend the Spruce St. Manhattan which tastes much like an old-fashioned. The Mediterranean Seabass was absolutely amazing as was the GL Fourcher LeBrun.I highly recommend Pomeroy and will be back to try the lobster risotto special on Monday and short rib on Tuesday!

I made reservations for Father's Day dinner and it was my first time trying Pomeroy. We were seated at a booth table as soon as we checked in with the host. The place was busy and had a fun vibe. Our server was friendly and helpful.I tried the BOUILLIABAISE, COUNTRY PATE, and the FUSILLI AUX CHAMPIGNONS. Everything was delicious and satisfying. I really loved the pate, every component on the plate all came together so well. My Agave Old Fashioned was also made just right. The clean bathrooms are located at the lower level. The place was neat and lively, the service was efficient, and the food was great. I will for sure come back to try the other dishes and drinks on their menu. Til next time!

Came here on a Friday night and luckily made reservations almost a month ahead of time as this was for a birthday celebration.Prior to the actual day of the reservation, I was receiving automatic text from the restaurant asking about the birthday celebration and their name. Upon arriving, I realized why they were asking because they took the liberty of printing, happy birthday, as well as the name on all of the menus of those in the party for the dinner that evening. That was a very nice special touch. This place itself as a, and the ambience definitely fits into that. Expect to see the leather and the old-school styling and hardware as well as the volume level to support it. It has indoor seating as well as a back patio and the front patio for seating. We sat inside and luckily, even though it was a very hot and humid day the AC was definitely not hot. The menu has all the classic dishes available. Bread and butter service comes at a fee. Portions overall are fair and if not a little bit generous, considering it is French cuisine. Everything came out very well and very freshly out of the kitchen as well. The only disappointment I have is that the escargot did not come in its shells.I have to say that I would definitely come back here because I have no desire to try the French restaurants in the city as well as paying city taxes and paying for city parking .

Great vibe, amazing baguettes, mussels were great! Streak was not cooked through the temperature we asked for.But main issue was with scallops ceviche that tasted funky almost sour/fishy smell. But the server never checked on the food. Would definitely return to order other dishes! Also, would have been nice to know that we can order drinks 2/3oz. Bit disappointed on taste of the dirty martini, but I am particularly strict about my martinis (no ice crystals, or shaken enough) It was too briny and almost warm like it's been sitting after being made. But overall great restaurant if you know what to order! Fries + mussels were great! Also wanted to try some crepes but we didn't have room.

We had a late reservation for our anniversary and we decided to head out early just in case. We were seated right away and greeted champagne glasses at our table. Such a nice touch. Our waitress was very sweet. We ordered the small seafood tower and it was exactly what we wanted it to be! Too bad we forgot to take a picture. Our sides were also delicious and our drinks too!loved the ambiance and decor. Will be back again soon!

Went to Pomeroy for the first time this week with my wife and thought it was really impressive. The north shore needs more places like this that rival the quality of restaurants in the city. The restaurant itself is super well put together. It is a solid sized space but feels cozy, the lighting and vibes were perfect. The food itself was quite good too - for starters my wife and I had the East Coast Oysters, the Tuna Tartare, and the onion soup. The oysters and Onion soup were solid, but the tuna tartare was super fresh and tasty. For our mains, we split the burger which was solid as well, but not mind blowing. I will say the fries they use are fine but I would assume Kennebec fries at a French restaurant. For dessert we had the creme brulee which was good but was chilled which was surprising. The service was stellar, our waiter didn't miss a beat, had solid recommendations, and was friendly. They even have free valet which is a nice touch. Will definitely go back.

We drove up to Pomeroy from the city one Friday evening and had a great time.Pomeroy is nominally a French restaurant but its overall focus is seafood, and when you visit I recommend leaning into that. There is a raw bar with oysters, shrimp, and crab legs; and a lobster roll, boulliabaise, and three fish preparations on the menu. On Fridays there is a fourth - a Dover sole which is delicious and massive - it could easily be shared between two people. If we returned on a Friday night we would order one Dover sole and dive into the raw bar.Other French specialties - duck breast, coq au vin, beef Bourguignon - are relegated to one night specials. There is foie gras as an appetizer but I would avoid it - overpriced and undersized. The chicken liver mousse, however, is excellent as are the desserts. I strongly urge you to try the chocolate pot de creme and Kelly enjoyed her Red Velvet Cake. There is an extensive selection of white wines by the glass, as well as the bottle list, to accompany your fancy seafood feast.

Amazing atmosphere. Amazing service. Amazing food. Absolutely amazing. We went to celebrate a graduation and chose the fanciest place we can think of. This definitely is fancy and pricy but the service and the food are worth it in my opinion. Our waitress was so nice and attentive and everyone who brought our food were also very nice. I'd be down to go again when there's another celebration to be celebrated.

We came by for dinner on a Tuesday night and the restaurants was packed! We didn't have a reservation as we figured Tuesday night wouldn't be too crazy. Thankfully we were able to be sat anyways. The hostess was able to seat us on their heated patio, and with how chilly it was outside we were rather nervous but it was super warm and the patio is stunning. The fireplace had cozy seating and it really took to the appearance of a French cafe. Our waiter was an absolute delight. Giving us the low down on the menu and sharing with us his favorites. We gave it a go to try the special the beef but unfortunately we were just minutes shy before they sold out. I ended up getting the steak frites and they did not disappoint. The tenderness of the beef and the au jus on the steak was incredible. To drink I had their nonalcoholic lemonade which was a delight, it was similar to a blueberry spritz. By the end, we were too full for dessert. But overall loved our experience. We can't wait to come back to try brunch one of these days.
