Polite Provisions

My friend suggested that we come to this spot based on reviews and we were not disappointed! We came around 11pm and were served by Adam and Kelly, AMAZING bartenders btw! They were really great The ambiance of this place is SOOO nice! Very classy, date night feels. They had a bunch of seating areas, inside and out. I used the bathroom and it was dimly lit, not good for people who can't see well in the dark and their toilets were ... interesting. You'll see what I mean.After checking out their menu, my friend got the Mance Rayder for herself, it was prettyyyyy strong, and the Tijuana Slowdance for me, perfect mix of fruity taste and tequila I'll definitely want to come back next time I'm in town!

I wanted to like this place... it's super cute but dayum it was hella warm. No AC (I don't know if they just decided not to run on the day I went or they simply don't have one) and wasn't happy to see bartenders' sweat dripping down as they made drinks.I get that it's busy but the service was slow, maybe because i went on a Friday around 6pm. Unique drinks but not worth it for me to go back in the future as there are many other cool establishments around in NP.

I have wanted to come here for years and today I finally got here. I absolutely loved this place!!! I felt transported back in time, to the 1920's and 30's. The wood, the marble, the brass. So cool. The bartender was very nice. The drinks were crafted and presented beautifully, delicious!I can't wait to come back. If you want to experience a period bar pre prohibition and you appreciate a beautiful bar with delicious cocktails you must come here!!

Drinks are inventive and so fun! Definitely outside of the box thinking for cocktails. We love places that are trendy and inventive. Also love that they have an option to just order whatever the bartender makes you based on what you want! True cocktail art.Service has always been pleasant here. Ambiance is timeless speakeasy decor. It is beautiful and gorgeous. Seating could be a dash more comfy but usually here for just a drink so it's all good.We love this place!

We were suggested to wait here while we waited to be seated next door (they share the same kitchen, so you can always order take away from fortunate son and eat it here). We were seated right away and that's where our good service ended. Every table at the front that wasn't occupied was dirty, so though we were seated right away they were cleaning our table as we're seated there. It was nearly impossible to flag someone down to order our drinks. We finally placed our order and it took forever to get them. From the moment we sat to us receiving them it took 50 minutes. To flag someone down for our check was the same dilemma 15 minutes. It's a cute place but the drinks aren't worth the wait.

Service was good/quick. Busy but not packed on a Sunday. Perfect place to stop for one drink while the other half of the party waited for An's. Expect the unexpected was a perfect name for the drink. Definitely spirit forward and felt fancy drinking it. Kind of like a tiki twist on a Negroni. Always cute decor when you walk inside.

Polite provisions is definitely one of my favorites to come and hangout with friends or come for a cute date night. I love the atmosphere in there. The vibe in polite provisions is a lot of fun! For specific holidays they decorate the bar and it looks really cool. They also have holiday drinks as well. Their menu changes but if there is a drink not on the menu they will still make it for you. The drinks are delicious! Depending on what drink you get they can be really strong or sweet. The bartenders or servers are really good at letting you know on a scale from 1-10 how sweet or strong they are to help you decide. When going to polite provisions especially in the evening to go a bit earlier to get a spot to sit down so that you aren't standing or waiting in line to get in because it does get packed fast.

Came here for a date night and was super excited to check it out!!The ambiance is so aesthetically pleasing with plenty of seating inside and outside, the drinks are delicious and I can definitely see it getting busy on a weekend or late night!Can't wait to come back with more friends

Great happy hour and good vibes. Came on a Fri around 4 and it wasn't too busy at all. You order at the bar and then take a seat anywhere. I love how many options they have on happy hour. Mostly cocktails but a rotating beer option as well. I got Rome with a view which was like a lighter negroni. Very tasty. Also got the mojito which was just ok. Not minty enough for me.
