I haven't been to Pokitrition in at least a year, but probably more like 2. It's great to know this place is still delicious and generous with servings. I was in the area so I stopped in to get a sushi burrito. This place also does poke bowls but I knew I was going burrito style. And what is a sushi burrito you might ask. It sounds strange but it's essentially a very large sushi hand roll you'd get at sushi restaurant. I tried the spice-sea burrito and it didn't disappoint. The 2 proteins it comes with are marinated tuna, and ground spicy tuna, and I noticed at the end she added some crab (imitation I assume). It has jalapeños, onions, spicy siracha mayo and I added some yuzu ponzu sauce and eel sauce. It also has cilantro, cabbage, and some other veggie I can't remember. I got some ponzu on the side, pickled ginger, wasabi, and sirahcha for my condiments to the burrito while eating. When I tell you it was glorious, I mean it :DThe thing was heavy in my hands when I picked it up and each bite I took was as good as the last one. I shared some of it with my partner, he should consider himself very lucky since I could have inhaled that entire thing myself haha. I'm glad I didn't though. The great thing about this type of burrito is that I don't feel sluggish and weighed down after wards. It's still light and fulfilling. It's a big ol piece of sushi hand roll! The people working behind the counter were friendly and did a great job assembling the beast of a burrito so it didn't fall apart. It was pretty chill inside with people eating at the tables, enjoying their food. Things were clean and organized. All in all, that was a major treat today. I hope it's not 2 years until I go back again :)

Felt like trying something unique tonight. I've never tried a Sushi Burrito before and this place wasn't too far away from our hotel and rated well on Yelp, so I figured why not give it a shot. I eat Sushi pretty often so I think I've got a fairly decent palate for good/bad/average sushi. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when we decided to go here. It's tucked back in a pretty quiet strip mall area. The place almost looked closed when we pulled up. Guessing this is a more popular lunch spot than dinner. The restaurant was empty. There is probably 10 or so tables and no outdoor seating. You order your food sorta like you would at any burrito place. You can customize your meal or order one of the menu choices. We ordered pretty simple bowls for the kids and my wife and I tried a signature burrito. The drink selection is pretty basic, water, tea, and a couple sodas was all. Looked like they make their own teas, those could be the way to go, but I wasn't feeling it, so we just got water. On to the actual food, it was fantastic! I will say that you better bring your appetite as these burritos were huge! Probably would split one with the wife if we were to come back ( unlikely since we live in another state! lol) also I think getting a bowl version vs a burrito would be a better way to go. With the size of the burrito you can't quite get all the flavors in one bite, with a bowl you could do that easier. Overall, great lunch spot, or a quick dinner, the staff were very nice, it was clean, and the food was good. Give it a try if you are in the mood for Sushi but with a little twist. The experience here is the food, the restaurant itself isn't the kind of place you would hang out at.

I've been here a few times! I usually get their sushi burritos. This time I went with their 'build your own' poke bowl option with tuna and salmon. Always great quality fish. It was delicious! Their store's always clean and their staff is good about cleaning up the seating area as soon as a table leaves. Good, friendly service!

My absolute favorite go-to for Poke bowls for the past several years! The staff are always super friendly, and if you happen to eat in it's a nice casual spot to catch up with friends. My usual order is a small poke bowl with white rice, 2 scoops of tofu, eel sauce and sriracha sauce, 2 scoops of crab, masago, crispy onions and wonton strips and it's always delicious! It might feel pricey at $13 but the portions are huge (unlike Ahi Poke) and one could definitely consider the bowl 1.5/2 servings!

We first tried their food during the Lunar New Year where they were one of the vendor food trucks which were there. We had a sushi taco which used tempera fried seaweed for the shell. They told us they had locations, so we knew we had to add it to our list. This place had build your own options, and there is a lot to choose from. Apparently, they only offer sushi tacos at events, so we were stumped at first. Not to fear...we had a fantastic server who helped guide us with our order. We both had a Spicy-Sea burrito. It was so huge we truly could have shared it. They did not skimp on the fixings. The restaurant was clean and nice. I have been to other poke places in the valley, and I hate that they upcharge you for almost every extra. That being said, they do upcharge for avocado (like most places) and others, but for the most part, asking for a little crispier onion, wontons, etc. won't result in an upcharge. You do need to keep your eyes open as it is kind of hidden, so you need to look for it. The food was fresh and delicious. The pricing seemed spot on for most poke places, which helps. I will be returning, it was delicious!!- A little history of the company "We are a small local shop. We are locals who graduated from ASU. We try to support local companies by partnering with them and bringing products made in Arizona such as Cold Press coffee and Simple Soda. Also, we work with companies that provide us with fresh sustainable, sushi-grade, fish from Hawaii. Never frozen!"

I really do love this place. It's a fast and healthy (depending on your choices) option for when I don't have a lot of time. The service is most always excellent, understanding that sometimes some people can have bad days. Not all poke places are the same, so if you're in the mood, definitely check this one out!

The BEST, and I mean the BEST Sushi Burrito I've had in Arizona. The flavors and freshness they have going on with all of their ingredients are a delight! I've tried a few poke places, this one beats them all in my opinion. GO HERE!

FRESH FISH!The fish in my poke tasted great! One thing I don't like about this place is that the sauce only goes on the fish. I was sauce allllll over all my toppings! Perhaps next time I can ask them to do it that way? In terms of other toppings they have a decent selection. My bowl filled me up and was tasty.
