Chain poke bowl spot located in Civita park. Parking can be difficult to find right outside, but you can use the deck next to LA Fitness or the park across the street's lot. There is some seating inside and occasionally cafe tables are places outside, but Civita park is only about 150' away and there's plenty of picnic tables. The base bowl options and toppings include typical chain poke options, but the prices are outrageous. Over $25 after tax for a lunch bowl and drink, and that's without tip. The service was quick and I've never seen it crowded, but it's rather small portions compared to other local poke bowls. The food was good enough, but for the price there are many other lunch options and even a cheaper poke bowl spot within a 3 minute drive.

The gym I frequent often, LA Fitness, is just around the corner from Poki Bowl. Because it was so close I decided to grab a bite here post-workout.My boyfriend and I shared the regular sized bowl which comes with 3 scoops of protein. They have pretty much all the typical toppings of a poke shop and was surprised to see that they also offer boba and spam musubi. The poke itself was ok...I think The Poke Co. in the plaza across the street is much better. Their rice just seemed undercooked. There was a lack of flavor in the spicy tuna which is a bummer because that is my favorite protein to get.I will say I did appreciate how they offered a non-spicy sauce. The establishment felt clean and service was friendly. I will say if I was in a time pinch and needed a healthy meal I would probably come here but my boyfriend and I agreed that this is probably not a place we would particularly want to go to if we had the choice.

We ordered 2 poke bowls today. As we were eating, the food tasted delicious. However, we both got sick from it, nauseated + runs before we could even finish the bowls. Called Poki Bowl to report our concerns, so that they could check whatever they're serving are all fresh -- to prevent others from experiencing the same discomfort and inconvenience. We really wanted to like this place, but will not be returning unfortunately.

Perfect amount of portions, with lots of options for toppings. The salmon was cut into big chunks that was tender and flavorful. The yellowtail was nice and squishy. Brown rice was cooked perfectly and there was not an overload amount of sauce- it was just right. They also give you chunks of fresh avocado rather than mashed avocado. It's right near Civita park, so it's perfect to eat to-go somewhere at the park! I will definitely be back again :)

Got a large poke bowl to share. I'm not too big on poke so just tasted parts of it. I'm not too big on raw fish but like tofu. We didn't order the tofu as a protein as it seems a bit expensive if you just wanted tofu since it's the same price as the fish options. (I wish if you just wanted tofu as a protein that it would be cheaper)But it did taste fresh and was good. Loved the toppings (I did eat most of the toppings) They have a happy hour and the spam musubi looks good and I might try that but I'd be back. Ordering is easy. And service is great. Happy this place opened in civita. Way better than the taquito place.

So excited to have a poke option right down the street from my office. Poki Bowl is located in an apartment complex shopping center. I did not realize until today that there is a parking lot with retail parking spots in case you can't find a spot on the street. They really load the bowls up here. While it's $18 a bowl, that's two full meals worth of food. They have lots of sauce, protein and veggie options to choose from. I will be coming back and bringing coworkers with me.

Claims the title of the largest poke bowl in SD thus far... which works for some but I would have liked a more portioned out bowl that I can mix and eat together. Parking isn't too bad with all the 30 min spots nearby but at peak hours it can be hard.Salmon and Ahi Tuna were of good quality here and its on par with the other Poke places around town (which is solid!)

Stopped by last night to check this place out. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. The employee was helpful and friendly, and didn't skimp out on toppings/proteins. That being said, with the utensils she was using, I feel like it was slightly less than some other Poki places. Options were pretty standard all around.I ordered Salmon and Ahi, both were tasty. Standard topping with the option for an extra school for $1.50. The inside was relatively small but they also had two tables outside. The woman helping asked if I had a punch card and provided me with one when I told her I hadn't. With this you get a free regular bowl after your 4th purchase. Total after tip was $21. Given the service, rewards card, and proximity to Civita, I'll definitely be back.

New hot spot in mission valley! Poki bowl is very clean and roomy.Their menu is easy to read. Just like most poki places, you build your own bowl. Starting off with a base, then choice of protein followed by sauce and toppings. One thing this place lacked for me was flavor. They do mix sauce with the poki and add more sauce on top (option), but it wasn't enough for me. I'm a sauce girl. Next time I'll ask for more on top and mixed in with my poki. I will say this is one of the healthiest poki places I've been too in SD. Id definitely come here again.
