First time trying this poke place. I was not impressed. Salmon was not fresh. Avocados were brown. Rice was overcooked and very vinegary. And I had bubble guts after I ate it. I didn't even finish eating the salmon. I wont be returning here again.

I was looking for something light, yet full filling to eat for lunch...I walk by Pokeland many times daily. I use to eat there all the time but haven't been back in over a year due to bad management and my last couple of bowls lacked freshness... which is SO important with poke.Well, today, my stomach took me into pokeland...hoping since since some time had passed, it would have gotten better... It definitely DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! My bowl was so good...fullfilling...and super fresh...I also found out they are under new management and got to be served by one of the owners Michelle, who was very pleasant and super sweet!! I felt it was important to leave this review for all the people who stopped going like I did...I'm so happy I did stop in today and they definitely will see me again!!!

I had $50 in expiring GrubHub money so I ordered $50 worth of poke bowl from here as takeout...Let's just say that even though free food usually tastes more delicious, that was not the case at all for the poke bowls we got. We actually threw them away without finishing, and we are NOT a household that throws away food. We ordered 3 regular bowls:-Salmon/salmon/spicy tuna with garlic ponzu and white rice-Salmon/salmon/spicy tuna with pokeland sauce and white rice-Seared tuna/scallop/shrimp with pokeland sauce and white riceThe spicy tuna was this mix of unappetizing mashed fish. The salmon, seared tuna and scallop were flavorless. I think theoretically the dish could have been saved by the sauces but we could not taste any garlic ponzu or pokeland sauce in any of the bowls. Maybe the sauces were forgotten, and we are unfairly judging the bowls. But the dishes we got were basically just flavorless fish with flavorless rice. The only thing that earned this place its stars was ambiance (very clean restaurant in a convenient location that has tons of free parking) and very friendly/professional service from the cashier.

Gave them a second try after my "shrinkflation" review. Now I can give them 5 stars! I will be coming back since their portions are much better than before

Stopped by on July 4th and will be back soon! I was craving poke on this hot, sunny day and wasn't sure if they were open. I tried my luck and was able to get a fresh, hefty, 2-scoop bowl for under $18 (with tip). The service was friendly and quick as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see my order being filled to the brim and packed into the bowl. Some say quality over quantity, but I was able to get both here! I wasn't sure if I was simply hungry or the food was good, but I downed it all without getting a good picture of it :'). I will say there were a few dry pieces of albacore, but the rest of the serving was fine. There is indoor seating but I ordered to-go. Poke Etc. in National City is my usual go to, but I was far and craved the So-Cal style poke bowl. I think this place hits the spot if you're looking for a poke bowl, and you get your money's worth.

I got a regular poke bowl with salmon, tuna, and scallops. The poke tasted good, but they were cut into larger than normal chunks. The cucumber was also cut into large slices, so it wasn't as pleasant to eat. The bowl was also drenched with mayo, it was definitely too much. The presentation also just looked thrown onto the bowl. They have a good amount of seating inside and the service was good as well. I don't think I would come back to this place.

Build-your-own-bowl type poke spot in Mira Mesa with generous portions. It never fails to fill me up (maybe because I usually get almost everything in my bowls) and has delicious ingredients, though the sauces can be overpowering. My favorite on the menu is the triple threat bowl, and you can add more to it beyond just the items listed for the premade bowls.

Hands down the best poke around town with a welcoming environment. They are very gracious with their serving size and there's plenty of seating inside and outside. I wanted to give a huge shout out to Chris! Chris was very welcoming and kind. With each addition he made sure my wife and I were happy with the serving size. I really appreciate great customer service and wanted to give credit where's it due and Chris deserves recognition for it. Thanks a lot, Chris!

They are very generous with their serving size. I got a large bowl and it was probably three lbs! Their fish was okay, nothing to write home about. They kind of drown the whole thing in sauce. It should be less and the customer can ask for more. I ate at some tables outside the restaurant. It was a nice mild night out in San Diego and the warm lighting from the lights were very calming.
