Poke Maki Ramen

Love this place, happened to be driving by one day and hungry so we stopped in. They have Gluten Free & safe options. (The rice bowls not ramen unfortunately, would be amazing if they had that someday though!) The ramen is outstanding, flavor is on point. They don't overcharge. Also the owner plays nonstop Christian music lol. Might get the food to go next time haha. Will be back soon!

I mean... it was just okay. I was bummed because I wanted to walk in here and really love it! The girl behind the counter was dry, no enthusiasm whatsoever. When I asked about how the hot Cheetos roll were. She looked at me with a blah face and said "I don't know. I don't eat hot cheetos." A good host would say, not sure but it's a big hit here... or something. I guess I was just expecting much. Honestly, it's just okay to me. It's a hole in the wall type of location. Definitely nothing fancy. Just a place to pick up food from. I most likely will not be back just because I feel I can spend $60 at a better location with a bit more ambiance but it was worth the try... definitely not what our fellow yelpers reviewed though. 5 star? I'd say no

Nice bowls. 2 proteins (spicy salmon, and spicy tuna), base of half salad and half rice, 3 sauces (house, spicy ponzu, honey mustard mayo) plus all of the toppings was $17.

Good place for a "poke bowl" mainland style, meaning all the salad goodies and decent fish. $20 for a large bowl, 2 proteins and tax/tip. A one man show today on a Saturday afternoon. A great option for a poke bowl in the area. West side is always limited, so please go support local small mom and pop shops like this to keep them around. Fast, clean, and consistent. We've been here a couple times to get our poke fix. God knows we need more ethnic food, non-chain on this side!! Great stop-in after a Spring Training game at Peoria Sports Complex.

I had the vegan ramen, which was a little salty for my tastes but otherwise very flavorful and I loved all the toppings. The place is small but clean, and service is very friendly and quick. Portion sizes are modest, good for a meal but no leftovers. Prices are a little high relative to the portion size in my opinion. They also do not have reusable dishes or cutlery, so you get disposable bowls even if you dine in.

I am in search for a great ramen place, any suggestions?This place is like a fast food sushi place. The Yelp search brought me her looking for ramen. We tried a couple ramens and a sushi burrito. The ramen was just mediocre. I was a little disappointed with the broth on both the Tonkotsu and Chicken Karaage. The sushi burrito was pretty good but not good enough to come back.

SO GOOD. I had a spontaneous craving for a sushi burrito and was desperately hunting for one in the area. I came across Poke Maki and ordered their salmon sushi burrito with the spicy ponzu sauce. It was made quickly, the fish was fresh, and the ponzu sauce was a perfect mix between spicy and tangy. The employees are also extremely sweet! Will be back to try more.

The food is so delicious and fresh, I order every Friday! I normally get the poke bowl, onigiri or one of the rolls depending on what I'm feeling that day. I just tried the Chashu (pork belly) bowl today and it was amazing! Definitely going to be getting more of that one!

Completely inedible items. Both the miso soup and ramen were all salt-one bite and that's all you tasted and ate-SALT. I have never had a bite of food so flooded with salt in my entire life. Needless to say we can't eat any of this.Also-the chicken teriyaki dish? The chicken is grey. Completely grey. So we are not taking a chance on that.Really wanted to enjoy this place especially since the ramen cost $18-it must be good; right?? Absolutely disgusting. STOP OVER SALTING YOUR FOOD

I've been going here since they opened their doors they ALWAYS have the freshest ingredients and make the most delicious bowls!!
