I was really hoping to love this place -- heard the pizza and pastas were yummy. Never felt racially discriminated against at a restaurant. But I guess there's a first time for everything. The service was horrible but only for my brown family. Every other patron at this place received drinks and bread as soon as they got seated. In our case they waited until we actually asked for it. Then it took another half hour to receive our appetizer. An hour later and still no main courses for us, while everyone else at the restaurant was served (even those who came after us). So we finally decided to just get up and leave. They're lucky we were nice enough to leave cash to pay for our wines and salad. Avoid this place at all costs if you are against racial discrimination.

One of my favorite restaurants on Mercer Island! They have inside seating, bar, and outdoor seating . My go to dishes are Croatian Cousins (seafood) and Bella mushroom ravioli. My kids love the Dobar chicken, Chicken Dijon, and Lamb Shank. Their Caesar salads and in house bread are amazing. The bread is baked fresh and served nice and hot from their pizza oven. The pizzas are thin crust and are delicious. Customer service is fast and friendly. They have a cozy bar area in the back near their stone pizza oven. When the weather is sunny and warm they open up the front end of the restaurant and there's tables outside .

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary with a special lunch. This is the first time we have been to Pogacha since they moved to Mercer Island. The new restaurant is wonderful. They have the great ambiance they had before. The outdoor is better than the previous location. We ordered our favorite - the Pogacha burger. It was tasty as ever. Our Server, Hailey, was excellent. We are looking forward to coming back.

I had the chicken avocado salad sandwich with the side of wedge fries. The fries were definitely the better half of the dish, despite only being a side they were well seasoned, crispy, and light! It definitely brought the dish up a bit. The sandwich, on the other hand, was not a pick that I would go for again. I think mayonnaise may have been the only seasoning used and it definitely led to a stomachache for myself and my friend who ordered the same thing. We had high hopes for this restaurant as we are both foodies and love a great brunch, next time I would probably go for the pizza instead. Their service was decent, not extraordinary but not awful, and the aesthetic definitely makes for an intimate gathering.

Wonderful restaurant on Mercer Island! Their pasta is good, their pizza is good, their burger is good; and the bread, is soooo dang good! The heart of all of itAnd the tasty flavors is the bread and the wood fire oven! Staff is always friendly! Whether with a group, or just grabbing a mean for one, I was treated great in both scenarios! Cocktails are great quality and very reasonably priced! Try their old fashioned and cold brew martini!Worth taking an I-90 pit stop for!

Had the chance to stop here for brunch after going to the Mercer Island Farmer's Market. It was a beautiful day and they have a lovely patio and open restaurant so you can enjoy the nice weather.I got the chicken salad sandwich which was a little bland but the homemade bread they are famous for was great and the fries were amazing! Looking forward to when I can come back and try something else like their pizzas which looked amazing.Service was phenomenal and everyone was so kind!

Favorite pizza place on the island. I could order just a Caesar salad and a cheese pizza and be stuffed. The servers are always nice and accommodating. It's a nice family friendly restaurant but also a nice place to grab a drink after work.

Saturday night We asked for water and it didn't come for 30 minutes until we asked. And it didn't come for another hour and even after an hour we still didn't get our food. And we even saw the pizza maker leave the pizza oven. This place is a hot mess. Terrible service. We had high hopes for this local Mercer island neighborhood establishment but in the end were disappointed in the service of the staff. We left after an hour of waiting. Avoid this place. They care more about the local customers who must tolerate this poor level of service and fail to provide any reason to ever go here again.

We stopped in for lunch while on the island for a friends' wedding. The ambiance is upscale but comfortable, with a lovely bar and interesting cocktail list. I foolishly took no photos, having too much fun with friends lolThe brunch menu is great; enough variety to appeal to most without giving up what they do well. In the party, we had a couple different chicken sandwiches, a grilled cheese, a Flatbread and probably most of the tomato basil gorgonzola soup. Our server/hostess/(maybe manager\owner?) was kind and attentive, engaging but not hovering. The Tomato Basil Gorgonzola Soup. Get it. It's ambrosia and sweet savory comfort. If your childhood was dappled with kraft cheesefood on toasted bread and condensed tomato soup, you can even dip the grilled (7!) cheese sandwich in this soup and taste the distance between now and then. Because the other point is the bread. There's a massive lovely open fire oven with a heartwarming newspaper story hanging in the entryway. I had a sandwich on this trip. I'm concerned I'll find myself on a 3 hour roadtrip any day now, headed back to try a flatbread. Obviously with a bowl of soup on the side. Or does it come in buckets?

I had the most lovely time at Pogacha on their beautiful patio recently. The manager, Nikki, is unbelievable! She is warm, hospitable and always goes the extra mile to make you feel special.
