Initially it took awhile for the service to start. Just getting water took quite a while. But once they sat more people the service picked up. I had the Pollo ala Crema. It was great. Prices are a bit high. I might have to go back. They have nice patio seating.

This restaurant feels hyper aware that its clientele is the suburban white soccer moms that are so plentiful in Woodinville. With its full page of specialty margaritas, unnecessary garnish such as lettuce on the enchiladas, and salsa with barely any spice, it's perfectly suited for its location. I can't say this my preferred Mexican food, but it's smart business for the area it serves and in the end, we still cleaned our plates. The service was quick, observant, and filling. I might bring my mom back for those margaritas though.

Food and service is always great here. Fresh vegetables and delicious sauces. We were tucked into a quiet corner. Love their chips and salsa. Our go to spot when in Woodinville.

Armed with plentiful dining suggestions in Woodinville from a colleague, I decided to venture out for lunch (3/9/23). This was a pleasant surprise to find out within a few minutes from my worksite, there were quite a lot of spots to choose from. I decided on Plaza Santa Fe for a first visit. I was acknowledged upon entry at the host stand, seated at a sunny booth, given food & beverage menus, then chips, salsa, and two ice waters. I must of looked parched, lol. The interior decor was bright and festive. A bit of a lengthy wait as a solo diner, unlike if one was a regular or seated at the other side of dining area. Finally, I was able to get someone's attention and get my order in. The lunch entrees had a nice selection to choose from. I nibbled on a few of the fresh tortilla chips with their spicy salsa. When my Enchiladas Suizas was finally brought to the table - hot from the kitchen, nice presentation, spot on tasty, and very generous portion wise. Well seasoned, moist shredded chicken encased in tortillas, topped with creamy tomatillo sauce, melted cheese, and sliced avocado. A bit of pico de gallo with shredded cabbage plus the usual refried beans and Spanish rice rounded out the large platter. So much food, I ended up packing up half of the entree and all of the chips & salsa! There was cumulative time loss though: wait to place order, wait to request takeout boxes, and also to receive my check. I took off a star because of the standoffish staff and cumulative time loss. Pro tip for folks with limited time for lunch, place one's order for takeout/pickup instead.

Always have a bomb time. Their food is fire, I could drink the queso chorizo. Margs are good too, I prefer the skinny to the house marg. I like to sit in the bar area, the bartenders are great. 10/10. Thank you!

I came to eat and they had a few empty tables but it was very crowded. They offered me two different back tables and i chose one. I was given delicious salsa and had a taco salad. The taco salad had a lot of meat and toppings. It was very good.

As far as Tex-Mex in Woodinville goes, there is no competition.I've been here for dine-in and takeout at least 6 times so far and literally never had a bad experience. Margaritas are delicious, molcajete is a wonderful choice for a family (or two hungry dads, in case you're there with friends), and the complimentary chips and salsa are endlessly refilled without hesitation.Staff are friendly and ready with recommendations for tequila, kid's menu choices, and nimble with requests.Lots of seating and a relaxed ambiance makes this one of my comfort spots in town.(Possible pro tip: if you order for takeaway, I think the portions are a little bigger; especially the nachos..!)

Went for dinner with a few friends from work. We were able to snag a table on their patio. I would say this is just average Mexican food. Nothing "authentic" about it. We were served complimentary chips and salsa. Chips were ok, nothing great. The salsa was good. Again the average salsa. Nothing to make it stand out. I ordered a 16oz margarita that was terrible. I could not taste the alcohol. Just the margarita mix and such a disappointment. You know, when the drink is not to your liking, it kinda sets the tone for the rest of the dinner. I ordered the spinach enchiladas that came with rice and beans. The black beans was good, but am not a fan of the cheese melting on top of the enchilada. The best part of the meal though was the house made hot salsa the waiter brought out when I asked for some hot sauce. That saved my day. It made the rest of the enchilada taste good. I wouldn't go again.

A decent spot for Mexican eats nestled right into the heart of Woodinville -- we stopped by for dinner before catching a movie over at the AMC theater right next door. The decor is classic Tex-Mex restaurant -- they have the fun paper banners, colorful tiles, and cozy little booths. The servers were very attentive and the food came out quickly! I got the Fiesta Avocado to share, as well as a blended marg and Spinach Enchilada. I loved that there were so many vegetarian options and the enchiladas were great because the spinach wasn't as heavy as the normal cheese. The frozen strawberry marg was SO. GOOD. Overall, tasty food (albeit perhaps a little pricey) but I would come back.

Wonderfully consistent Mexican fare at this neighborhood restaurant! We tend to prefer meaty dishes and this place never disappoints!Last night, service was quick and food arrived faster than usual. We are usually into our second basket of chips before the main arrives but we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of our orders off the grill. Both of us had the Carne Asada which was cooked perfectly. The combo is very nice, and this is one of the few places I enjoy both the beans and rice with the skirt steak. On a previous visit, I had the Carne Rancheros which was a sirloin sautéed with onions and peppers which was very nice as well. One thing for sure, you will not leave hungry!
