I would normally be overly ecstatic about an establishment. I've been here 5 times, mostly during the day. And I have nothing negative to say about the nighttime tenders. But the local bullying I had tonight was not only disrespectful and un‐tolerable. I kept hearing I know the owner. And they know me here. Not only did they disrespect me as a Msrine Veteran l but also the gay friends, I just was engaging with. . It's a small bar. But I was expressed with saving seats, to I'm to young to have opinion.

So me and the wife go here have a beer at the bar order some mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers eat some of em but still have about half of each left order another beer and we tell the bartender we're gona go play some darts ,I put all the poppers and sticks in one of the baskets and say we are gonna take these with us . We start to play darts talk a bit with the owner/ manager mabey who was changing out the money in the dart machines tells us we should sign up for the dart league it's fun and so on.. anyways, we drink more beers, play a few more rounds of darts, so we go to leave and I'm not seeing my leftover food on the bar and I ask did you throw away our food? And she's like ya but responds real quickly. I can make you more if you want..... seriously annoyed at this point my wife is annoyed and we're like no we just wanted to leave and take our food that we paid 25. Bucks for with us... who does that???? And if someone came to sit where we where then maybe ask us did you guys want a To go container for your food....no that doesn't make sense...last time we go there and we really enjoyed going here from time to time

I have been here twice now. This place is always jammed packed and can be hard to find a table (and parking) but we have been lucky each time. Caters well to larger groups if need be as the tables are long. Seems like it's popular for dart games and pool. There is also a decent number of TV's (as it is a sports bar). The bar area has comfortable chairs and a nice bar bench. One thing I found interesting was that the lighting is poor. There is an L shaped strip of recessed lights and the front has windows but other than that there aren't any lights which would make some uncomfortable. The place seems to be a mixture of all ages and many seem to be locals but I found them friendly. Drinks were nice and strong compared to other places I have been. The food looked amazing, I personally have only tried the oyster shooters which were good. Menu is varied.

I have never had a worse experience. At precisely 1:40am, they turned out all the lights, and made everyone leave the premises. I left, without hesitation, but not without expressing my displeasure. I even tipped the staff a fair amount on my tab. In the parking lot, I was assaulted by a regular. I called the police, but everyone remaining at the establishment knew the person that assaulted me, and came to his defense. At no time did I pose a threat to the staff or the very large patron that assaulted me, but I could not prove my case to the police, so the person got away with it.I have never been treated so badly at any establishment in any part of the country.

My wife and I stopped into Player's for lunch during the week after doing a bit of shopping at Costco.Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. It's evident that the clientele are regulars. During our visit, the bartender was also the cook. Orders are placed at the bar.Indoors is spacious with several tables scattered about. For entertainment, Player's offers pool tables, pool tabs, darts, fooseball and TV's. All day on Tuesday's, soft or crunchy beef tacos or carne asada street tacos with cilantro are $2 each.My wife had a couple pints of Bud Light for $4.75 each. I had a couple pints of Bodhi IPA for $5.75 each. Our beers were ice cold and filled to the rim. We each ordered one crunchy and one soft (fajita size) ground beef taco for $2 each. The tacos were stuffed with seasoned taco meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Filling and tasty.Overall, Player's is a decent bar for the surrounding area. Due to the type of bar that this is, top-notch customer service shouldn't be expected. Have a seat and enjoy a cold brew while waiting on food orders. Witnessing the amount of people at lunch during the week, I can only assume this bar gets packed in the evenings and weekends. My wife and I both enjoy bars such as Player's and look forward to returning in the future.

In shortThey're having fun in here, and that is just fine--regardless of how you take it. In longIt's an open space in the strippiest of strip malls, on a busy 4-lane highway, on the border between bigger strip malls and endless subdivisions. The smoking area is a stretch of sidewalk by the front door, and a 5-gallon bucket from a hardware store with a little water at the bottom. You could be forgiven for thinking that this place might just not be for everybody. You walk in to see a trio of pool tables, a quartet of dart boards, several long highboy tables, some lower tables, and a long prefab bar on the right side of the room. At the near end of the bar is one of those signs you can order, saying "All who enter here bring joy, some by arriving, some by departing." Seems like maybe they acknowledge up front that the surlier patrons might have to go, right? Remember, this statement also applies to those who think this place might not be good enough for them. Even if they don't make a fuss. The vibe is pretty good. People here clearly enjoy one another. More than half the people leaving over the course of the afternoon called out "Love you!" to the bartender. This surprised exactly no one. People here seem to stick together. There are quiet little bouquets of conversation toward the shadowy far end of the room, but it all seem social and friendly, even if one or two folks might be rough around the edges. I pulled up for lunch and a Mariner game, with hopes of watching a playoff hockey game after that. The Ms were already on, and I had a french dip and a well whiskey with that game. The sandwich took a minute, and the barmaid cheerfully explained that they had to heat up the flattop, since they hadn't turned it on yet. It came out in perfect shape--no gristle, done just past medium, still juicy, good flavor, nice tender roll and flavorful jus. It's pub grub. I have a soft spot for french dips so big you could land a 747 in it. You might prefer something else. I loved it. The onion rings were good too. And make no mistake--you know before you park that everything in here is out of a bag. It's not scratch cooking. Totally fine. They take care to do it right, and let you know what's going on with your order. The Ms won, and hockey playoffs came on. Dude next to me announced in a rather grumpy fashion that he didn't care about either hockey team that was playing, despite my attempts to entice him with hype about what a big rivalry it was. A couple hours went by, and he softened enough to brag about building part of the "backstage" area at the Kraken arena. Perfect metaphor for hanging out here--but they not only actually care about what's going on, but they might have even helped build it. He and his partner and I chatted about the Kraken and the Ms for a minute, even though the Kraken did not make the playoffs this year. I had the wings with the hockey game, and they were decent. You can get sauce on the side. Over a few hours, I got 2 entrees and 3 doubles for $80. Quite reasonable these days, especially with the sweetheart behind the bar who made sure the drinks were worthy. It's kinda divey, and not in a quirky or historic way. It's just a hang and you can't even really tell if it's been there 10 years or 50 years. But people here say hi and smile, and so should you.

I have been to this place twice in the past few months. Staff was friendly. We ordered our drinks at the bar. It's an older place that was dark inside. It was noisy to the point where I couldn't hear the person that I was talking to. My dad ordered a glass of wine. It was fine. Both times I ordered a margarita on the rocks with salt. Both times it tasted like and looked like a screwdriver ( vodka and orange juice) with limes. Both times it gave me an upset stomach.
