Playa Bonita

Sadly, this location has closed. Some of my favorite people that work there brightest, smiles, and the best food as well. They will be missed.

The food has no flavor whatsoever, service was so-so. For the price, definitely go somewhere else! If you want to stay in the casino for food go to the steakhouse.

This is a hidden gem... We stumbled into this place, and the food was really good..... Now I know there are a ton of Mexican restaurants in the area, but this food is authentic. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the meals came out quickly. The price was even good... Stop on in and grab some grub... And if you feel lucky, you can hit the casino...

Wow! I didn't even know this was here in the casino and it's beautiful! We were exploring our dining options here at 11am and wanted a nice table with booth. We found it right back near the parking garage entry. It's huge and probably the most upscale looking Mexican restaurant I've dined in. We are frequent diners at the Playa Bonitas in Granite Falls and Arlington so we were familiar with the menu options. Our servers were friendly and helpful and the food was really good. I love that they bring complementary salsa, bean dip and chips immediately. The salsa is mild. I asked questions and found out this is going to change into a sports bar soon and Playa will move towards the brewery. Come soon! And later lol

Let me start off by saying for many years we have been going to the Marysville location for family get togethers and it has not once disappointed us in the quality of food or service it has always been fantastic. Now tonight, my sister and I decided to go to dinner to celebrate our moms birthday who passed a few years back at the new angel of the winds location. The food was fine, no complaints there. The service was so uncomfortable, the entire time the staff stood and stared at us, were completely snotty and couldn't get us out quick enough. It was a very unenjoyable experience which is such a shame. We won't be going here again but we will absolutely go to the Marysville and Arlington locations.

Playa Bonita was leased it's space in the Angel of the Winds casino when they closed their buffet during the pandemic. Sadly, it was a terrible time to start a new restaurant. They have a large space that seems to be mostly empty whenever I pass by. Their food is standard fare, and everything we've tried hasn't been terrible or great. If all you need is a little sustenance before you go back to gambling, this will do.

Located inside of Angel of the Winds casino. I absolutely love this place. They have good food, good drinks, and great service. I always go with a classic enchilada, with rice and beans or the carnitas burrito. The carnitas burrito is my favorite. The meat is crispy, yet tender and so flavorful. The meat is more cubed then shredded which makes it that much more better than other carnitas burritos I've had. Their carne asada is great as well. Huge venue and tables spread out so seating is very open and not cramped.

Welp, I finally found out what disappointment feels like when eating Mexican food. Let me just say that the service was fantastic and it was a big place. It looked like that this place might even host some evens as we saw a bunch of sound equipment. Maybe dancing? Anyways, the food: I had the (per usual) taco and two enchiladas. The enchiladas tasted like cardboard and the cheese tasted like plastic. The chicken was dry and blandish. The beef taco was ok, probably the only thing that saved my reeling sanity (it really wasn't sanity bending, but I had you in suspense didn't I?). The salsa and bean dip (mild) were alright and the rice (dry)and beans felt like I was eating Great Value refried beans. My girlfriend ordered the Steak La Playa, and while it looked delicious, my girlfriend said she didn't care for the meal. Maybe we just came on a bad night, who knows. I'll give them another shot some other time to see if the quality was just a one-off thing, but it's gonna be a while.

Very, very boring and unappetizing good. Wide open, they sure don't want you to sit next to someone. Small plates, beans and rice tasted awful. We had chimachangas and they were so rough, we had to use a knife to cut. I can see why the casino doesn't advertise this place I'm afraid!

Ooh the food is so delicious I love coming after playing at the slots. The staff is friendly and warm welcoming I had the pleasure of being served by George, very kind gentleman. Definitely returning soon!:)
