I went with a group of 5 total. We had the Queen Caesar, French toast, banana waffle, firecracker roll, bang bang broccoli, eggplant unagi, spicy roll, udon noodles, and several cocktails. HahaThe service was great. One of my favorite restaurants.

Vegan friendly restaurant, but also very enjoyable for this meat (poultry and seafood) eater. The restaurant itself is pretty and the ambience is warm and inviting. The service was very helpful, attentive, and friendly. The menu isn't overwhelming for us non-vegans and describes the dishes perfectly. The dishes come out as they are prepared and they are perfect for sharing. My group ordered a few different items for the table and ate everything!

I love this place. The service was exceptional where the server would top our water off despite we had finished paying and my friend and I were just talking. The restaurant is very beautiful and I would say this is a definition of fine dining. It is a sharing type of meal. We had ordered Queen Caesar, Thai Lettuce Wraps, 1000 Layer Crispy Potatoes, Firecracker Rolls, and Bang Bang Broccoli. I had also gotten Herb Your Enthusiasm. All of the dishes and drinks were very delicious!!

I was so pumped to come here with my bff that was visiting from out of town. The decor is cute, but it took over 15 minutes for a server to come over to us. It wasn't busy or full, so I was confused what took so long. When she finally came over, it took her about 10 minutes to get our cocktail orders in. They only had two chefs/cooks that day, our server said, which was making food take a long time. Unfortunately, we had a hard stop because of a rooftop reservation and we ordered simple apps and it still took 25 minutes! I felt like everything was overpriced and the service was very slow. I would not return, I love the concept but this was not worth the drive or price.

Came here because I saw they had a ton of veggie options, but I came with my mom and she doesn't like anything spice so we would get sauces on the side and nothing like Wasabi. It seemed like we had two waitresses so thay was confusing. We ordered the firecracker cailuliflower and spring rolls with one waitress off the happy hour menu with just the sauces in the side then after we put the order in, another waitress came over and said she heard my mom didn't like anything spicy so recommended not getting the cauliflower and getting the mushrooms so we said on that's fine we'll do that, and but when she left then the cauliflower came out so then we ordered another thing for no reason. The cauliflower wasn't spicy at all on its own so it was fine and I enjoyed both sauces it wasn't spicy at all so not sure why she said it would be. The mushrooms were good but greasy so I wouldn't have gotten those, I on got them thinking they were in place of the caulk, but oh well. The rolls were also good but I didn't like the sauce for those, the nuoc cham. It was ok, I would have tried some other dishes of I had someone to split them with ikea the firecracker roll but I saw that come out and it was huge! So not something I'd get alone unless that was the only thing I was getting. We mostly ordered off the happy hour menu. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars was because it was a little too greasy, but I imagine the other dishes are really good.

This is a fun, elegant spot with a nice interior. During lunch, it was quite casual in terms of people's dress and the overall vibe. Outdoor tables have a front-row seat to Buckhead Village valet, so you miss out a bit on the PLANTA decor.SERVICE: Our server seemed a bit new. He was knowledgeable, just a little slower at keeping up and making recommendations. Service was polite, not bad, not memorable.FOOD:Bang Bang Broccoli - According to our server, it is a "right of passing" at PLANTA to try this appetizer. The sauce was gingery, almost like a dressing, and there was certainly a crisp on the outside of the broccoli. The broccoli could have had a more roasted flavor, but that's being a bit picky. It was a good start to the meal!Well, the bang bang fired with accuracy, and it killed the firecracker roll.Firecracker roll - This roll was well-intentioned. I must commend PLANTA for the complexity of these fish-less rolls. When eating the roll, it was clear that a non-sushi-chef had rolled it. The rice was missing some vinegar and felt creamier than the outside of a sushi roll should be. The fried potato strands on top weren't super crispy, though the concept did make sense. We did appreciate the variety of ingredients in the roll, and it's probably worth a try for some people. Sushi lovers might miss some of the authenticity though.BEVVIES:We only participated in the coffee portion of the menu. They are quite good! The Vietnamese coffee had a chocolatey flavor to it. The chaga chai-ccino tasted like a warm mushroom coffee with cardamom. Note that it's got the distinct mushroom taste, which is not for everyone. It felt like a milky post-meal tea.Happy hour is from 3-6pm. I appreciate the few dollar discount to try a select few items. There are also a few select specials each month. Overall, I also appreciated the specifications with allergies marked throughout the menu. There are a notable number of gluten-free and nut-free options.Parking is not validated.

Beautiful restaurant! This is the nicest vegan restaurant I've been to in GA! Ambiance is on point! Many different photo ops throughout the restaurant! Food was fabulous! I tried the bang bang broccoli, the 1000 layer potatoes, crispy rice and the kombucha mojito.Service was just ok they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. At one point we had two servers coming over asking what we needed and saying oh you didn't order anything but the order was provided to the other staff member. It was confusing for everyone. Regardless of the service the food and ambiance has me sold. I'll be back soon!

I've never had a bad experience at Planta! I've been to their Miami location, the Krog location in atlanta, and now the Buckhead location. THEIR FOOD IS DELICIOUS!! They are on the pricy side but if you go during happy hour it's a lot more reasonable and definitely worth it. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming and did I mention how good the food was... highly recommended! It's a great date spot or a get together with friends.
