Pla-Mor Bar & Grill

Great food and service! The menu is not descriptive at all so hard to choose. Burgers are amazing. The fireball burger is spicy with a lot of jalapeños, melted gooey cheese and a great sauce. The fish and chips are crispy and well seasoned and the basic bacon cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and well salted. The fries are hot, salty and crispy. The onion rings were hot and crisp, tender inside and well salted too. This bar has been here forever and has always been a great local place to go and enjoy some great food and a great drink or beer.

Great divey place with great service and great food. Went there to try this place out the other day and it was pretty solid. Drinks were reasonably priced as was the food. I got the standard hamburger which hit the spot. It's pretty deep out there in Maple Valley so really caters to the locals there, but I drove from Renton and would do it again. Went for lunch next time I'll check out happy hour which is how I can give a 5 star grade. I recommend this place for sure.

This place is famous, but if you ask me, it's famous for being the only bar in the middle of nowhere. I decided to check them out after the rave reviews for the burgers and this is my take. It was a really cold day and it was also really cold inside. Didn't help that it was below 50 and the beer delivery guy propped the door open to the place and cooler for close to 10 minutes. Sorry, I come from a place where you close doors behind you and when you want talk up women and play it cool, just do me a favor and shut the door first. Service was friendly, but slow. I don't dig places where you walk by me several times, before giving me a menu, taking my order or ask how my food is. You always put a beverage in front of someone at a bar, and if you are smart, you chase that with a menu. I'm really tired of asking for menus when I got out. Burger looked great, but I chose the burger dip, that Au Jus looked rich and salty in the photos and I had to try it. When the food came, the dip was flanked with golden brown fries that appeared to be cooked to perfection. First taste was 100% nasty. The fries were golden brown, but not crisp. I think someone either had some set aside that were no longer hot or they could be using the double sip technique to fry potatoes twice for crispness, but again, they weren't crisp either. Matter of fact that had a bad taste like they had been fried in Fish Grease and when you consider it was fish night, the night before, I'm convinced that's the case. If you don't have two fryers, you need to change the grease after fish night, those fries were disgusting. Burger was smokey, I liked that, but without fries, I just couldn't enjoy my plate. No doubt the burger was borderline legendary, but without hot crisp fries that don't taste like fish grease, the burger was half cocked at best. I don't think I'd come back, the fries were so bad, I just can't trust that my meal is hot or fresh. It' unfortunate, but just like the server said. Food taste better with a buzz and since I don't drink, I have to rely o my taste-buds and again, this time, they told me yuck, those fries really left a bad taste in my mouth, despite only having a few. I suspect whoever owns this place doesn't care, but when you got an A+ burger and F Fries, it's like a great taco with terrible rice and beans on the side. It's an incomplete mess of a meal.

This place is one of the best eateries in WA. I read some reviews about the place, and the customers that have the habit of complaining excessively about the food or the servers, maybe they have other issues that are not related to the bar. The hamburgers are among the best by flavor and price, I understand that some other places have better quality meat or fancy walls, but I don't want to pay $28 dollars for a hamburger.Maple Valley is a family place, PlaMor is part of who we are. No fake anything, just pure and delicious food, and drinks, the gorgeous servers are busy as heck, but when they find the time they will stop and talk to all of us. I've mentioned the hamburgers twice so far, the daily specials are to die for as well. Their chef is gifted. Don't judge, stop by, enjoy the food, the drinks, and most importantly don't be afraid to make a new friend (or two) just by smiling and starting a conversation. We need each other, more now than ever I think so!

Local dive bar. TVs, darts, pull tabs, 3" burgers, cold cold beer. Friendly and prompt service, loud music and conversations. Yep- definitely a place to visit again.

Paid a visit to this spot a couple times based on a recommendation from a friend. Definitely one of the better bars (for food) I've tried. Service was prompt and friendly and the food is pretty good. I ordered the Western Bacon Burger which was cooked to a juicy medium-rare and the waffle fries were seasoned well and crispy. I don't drink so I can't give a review of actual "bar" things. Overall, if I end up in the area or driving past Pla-Mor, I'll make an effort to swing by for food.

Got the Pla-Mor deluxe to go. Burger was amazing, definitely lived up to the reputation.

I heard about this place from a friend and we decided to go try something new after a bike ride. Famous dive bar? I had high hopes. But at the end of our experience we couldn't justify a return because we could have spent the same $ at other places for better food and service. Our meal was just ok. Service was just ok. Everything was just ok.

This place is known among locals as the "piranha bar" because of the giant piranhas in a tank inside the restaurant. Unfortunately when we were there, there was only one left but it was massive!Besides the piranhas, this place is just like any other dive bar. They serve dive bar food such as sandwiches, burgers, and fried foods, but they also serve ribeye steak which is unique. I ordered the western bacon cheeseburger ($15.50) which came with fries. It was massive and hit the spot! This is a cool dive bar that's open until midnight during the week and 2am on the weekends. It has a chill vibe and is a great place for a night out!

Great service and a great tasting burger. Definitely the best burger option I'm aware of in South King area. I had the mushroom burger and my friend had the same. She enjoyed it was well. The waffle fries were great as well. I'll try a different burger next time.
