Pizzo's Pizzeria and Wine Bar

The food is great and the staff is friendly, attentive, and professional at this location (not to be mistaken with the location at Otay!!!). I appreciate it that when they are able to, the manager and staff will take the time to get to know you and make you feel like your visit and your opinion matters to them. This has become our go-to when we crave pizza. Also, they recently added great cocktails that I like to order every visit. Their salad portions are very generous. I only ate half of mine to save room for pizza.

This would be 5 stars I love their food but last night we walked in at 8:18 pm and we were turned away because they said they were closing. First of all online says open until 9:30 and second of all who turns down a customer just like that ? It was super un expected and pretty rude. This post is for the owner of Pizzos to make you aware of staff being lazy. I LOVE your food and generally service has been good but very disappointed with yesterday's staff . Please also fix your schedule if you close ridiculously early on a Saturday night, then you should make customers aware of that online. Google says that the schedule is confirmed by the business owner six weeks ago so very recently . It ruined my night we ended up at that Asian place next-door, which was not good and I ended up fighting with the person I went with for not liking the food. I'll probably never see him again..

We came on a Thursday and it was packed but we were able to get seated quickly. The server was awesome and attentive to us. I wish we have gotten her name. The food was great. We ordered garlic balls, calamari, Caesar salad, spaghetti with meatball, and seafood pasta. We took the leftover garlic balls, and they were slightly hard to bite into. Probably better to eat right away. I wish we had a chance to order pizza. We will definitely be back.

This is almost my husband and i's favorite dine out spot in Chula Vista. We have ordered more than 10 type of their pizzas, almost every single appetizer, a couple pasta, and there weren't any that was ever bad (maybe we didn't like the clams pizza one too much but it wasn't bad). I'd say every dish is close to be great or exceptional. Staff are friendly! Outside seatings are beautiful! The pizza in my mind was very well made! I can eat the dough only without toppings! I recommend the Neapolitan style pizzas over the larger American style but honestly they were all great!

The food is phenomenal. We started with the garlic Parmesan dough balls which is a must. Then we ordered three pizzas: the diavola, the carne, and a margarita pizza. The diavola is amazing and has a nice spice to it. Finally we were celebrating a birthday, so our wonderful server Patricia came out with these amazing Nutella Balls that were a hit! Our server was amazing, she deserves 5 stars on her own. Overall it was a great experience, we will be happy to come again.

We came here with a party of 12 around 8pm and patricia made wonders to sit our whole party down and together. Which you never get that at no restaurant with a big party and at peak hour. Elly was our server and she was so sweet and patient with our big party! The food was really good also I had the margherita pizza and lasagna and it was delicious!!!! We will definitely come back. Patricia thank you so much for welcoming us and making it a nice experience for our family. We haven't had a family dinner in a while and you made it happened !!!!

The food and service were both great! I got the vegetarian and it was perfect! The ambiance was small and quaint.Minus one star for the bathroom--there is only one, and it wasn't clean (nor did it have tiolet covers). There's also a table right next to the bathroom door...I'm so glad that I didn't have to sit there.

Coming back from Italy and France I was excited to try this place out. The friends rave about it.ONLY thing negative is in Italy they don't have red crushed pepper ( as they say it's an American thing) i. Italy they have spicy olive oil. And here they don't have that which was truly disappointing so that's why it's 4 stars and not 5. Still on the hunt for an Italian restaurant that has spicy olive oilBurrata was good. Not the best.Pizza was great though

Order in. Food is very very good! Pizza, pasta, meatballs, apps and desserts are fire. Why 3 stars? Well I'm upset. The last two or three delivery orders have been messed up. Today for example, ordered their salsiccia Neapolitan pizza which is my favorite! Their homemade fennel sausage is the best. But the last two times they have not given me what I ordered and paid for. There was no sausage!!!! So I'm done trying to eat their amazing pizza at home. Perhaps they will rectify their problems with delivery orders. But I'll have to personally enforce my own quality control system and eat in the restaurant. SMH Idk how it is so hard for a business to hire attentive conscientious employees but that is the world we live in now.

Classic dinner spot in the San Miguel Ranch area of Chula Vista off the 125. It was poppin on a Friday evening. We managed to secure an outdoor table. Chill ambiance, which was made especially pleasant by the fantastic weather.We split a variety of appetizers - calamari, cheesy garlic bread (almost like a pizza), and caprese. All well executed and a nice way to start the meal.We ordered the Rolling Hills pizza. It came with 8 slices and was perfect to share between 4 people. Came loaded with toppings. The crust was crispy. Awesome flavor and textures.Service was friendly and mostly attentive despite how busy things were. Good spot!
