Pizzo's Pizzeria at Millenia Otay Ranch

The new vibe of restaurants in Millenia and Pizzo's never fails. It can be a bit noisy depending on the guests but it's a restaurant so everyone is having a good time and conversations over amazing food. The parking can be a challenge in a busy weekend but we found one right in the front. We ordered house wine and Vodka soda and you can't go wrong with drinks here. We ordered Summer Special of Bruschetta and Lobster Ravioli & Shrimp in Pomodoro Sauce, Small Caesar Salad and Calamari Fritti. We shared all of it! All the food especially the delicious robust flavors was amazing. I've been to Italy and their sauce is "lick the plate" amazing. We usually come with our kids who are now adults but they always order the Garlic Parmesan Dough Balls and this time we passed on them since it was date night but those are usually a must!!!Service is excellent, our server was nice and our food came out as expected. We love coming here for both family and date nights!

My wife & I were REALLY excited to try this place. We were told it would be an hour wait & we were fine with it, we had our 8 month old daughter with us so we asked for a high chair of course. After an hour and some change, we were told our table was ready. When we were sat down, we were then told there was no high chair. We decided to then just go back up to the hostess & told her we would just wait until a high chair was available to be sat, but then she rudely told me that if I didn't want to take that table I would be put on the back of the waiting list again because there were more families that had arrived that needed a high chair as well. I was obviously confused & asked if we could just be sat next since we had already waited & were wrongly sat since we obviously needed a high chair. The hostess (didn't get her name but she has some sort of black and purple hair) proceeded to tell me that I just needed to go on the back of the waiting list because I wasn't the only one who needed a high chair. We decided to leave but since that didn't sit right with me, I went back in to ask to speak to a supervisor or a manager. The hostess with the purple or red hair or whatever shade it is, told me there was no manager in the restaurant & there was no one I could speak to. Then came Gigi who's apparently the floor manager, she thought I was angry that there was no high chair & was apologizing. I was explaining that I would've had no problem waiting longer until a high chair was available, what I had a problem with was being told by their rude hostess that I would have to go on the back of the wait list since other families who also need a high chair had arrived AFTER ME. The entire time I was speaking to Gigi, this rude hostess kept looking at me and rolling her eyes & whispering to another girl, making me feel extremely uncomfortable. I told Gigi about how this girl told me there was no one I could talk to, and she was pissed since she is the floor manager. I was on my way to leave and decided to speak to the hostess and tell her that she has no idea what someone is going through & I had caught her in a lie regarding the manager situation. She laughed & kept rolling her eyes, which shame on me for losing my cool & letting this kid get to me which caused me to curse at her. I obviously won't be going back, which won't make a difference nor does it even matter, but just be more aware when working in the customer service industry. You never know what someone is going through & there is absolutely no need to be petty & rude with someone. Also, when a mistake is made, just apologize & try to fix it. Not make it worse. If you got this far, shout out to you.

Well well well, where should I begin. We were just here 2 weeks ago on a busy night. Thought we finally found a good place to have dinner and drinks. Decided to have dinner tonight at Pizzos (Tuesday) Millenia to celebrate a special occasion. It wasn't as busy as the first time we visited. We walked in asked the hostess to be seated outside. She wrote something down and proceeded to lead us inside, all the way to the back next to a huge party right in the corner. I politely reminded her that we requested to be seated outside. She took us outside, sat us down and walked away. 10 min go by and no one has been by to bring us water, or check on us or anything. Another few minutes go by and more people are being seated and attended to. My husband finally flags down a server. She apologizes and rushes to help us. (She was sweet and helpful this review is not about the serving staff or our server) We order an appetizer, salad, drinks and a pizza. Drinks come out, my husband was given the wrong drink but he didn't want to say anything. Salad came out and tasted like dirt, we decided not to say anything and just put it to the side. Pizza took forever to come out. Finally comes out, I take a bite, and a long hair is baked into my pizza. The most disgusting thing ever. It was literally baked in. That's it we were done.We politely let the server know without being loud or causing a fuss. We didn't want to ruin anyone else's dinner. Server was super sweet and apologetic, she offered us another pizza. But we were totally grossed out, and not to mention everything else. We were just done. She came back and let us know our meal was comped. Which was totally expected since all we ate was the bread and the drinks.We barely touched the salad and the pizza it was literally my first bite. We were just very surprised that the manager or owner or whoever is in charge couldn't take a minute to come by our table. Heck Chilis once ran out of chicken tenders and the manager came to our table to literally apologize and offer us something else! We literally had a horrible visit and a hair pie here at Pizzos and crickets from management.We definitely will not be going back. So much for trying to support local. So don't visit Pizzos unless you like Hair Pie and Salad that tastes like dirt.

My kids were in the mood for pizza so we decided to try out Pizzo's Pizzeria. We ordered the Margherita and Cheese pizza for pick up. Next time I think we'll have to dine in. The restaurant looked very welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.The pizzas were both delicious. My kids devoured them both. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Crust was a little hard but the under carriage was good. Overall, a great spot for pizza. Gonna have to come back to try some of their other pizzas and appetizers.

Came here on a Friday night for dinner. We were quoted an hour wait for a table of 3. We ended up waiting a little over an hour but it was worth it. Everything we ordered was so good. We got the Classic Neapolitan pizza, Angelo traditional pizza and bruschetta for an appetizer. The pizza was amazing! The ingredients that it was made with tasted so fresh and high quality. I personally preferred the Classic Neapolitan over the Angelo but that's only because I like that style of pizza more however both were delicious. I also tried the Sierra Madre cocktail and it was so good that I would go back just for that drink! Our waiter was nice and attentive. The restaurant was also nice and clean inside. Would def come back here when in town.

The food and service was very good! This place seemed to be very busy even in a Tuesday night for the dinner service. The food is a bit pricey but they make up for it in customer service and food quality. The ambiance is definitely suited for families and large parties as it is kid-friendly. I recommend the white sauce pastas with chicken or shrimp rather than sausage. The sausage had a touch too much of black pepper which was overwhelming.

Wow. The reviews are not wrong about place! Pro tip: make a reservation on the open table app. This place is popular and busy! You'll thank me later.Came here on a Tuesday night for my husband's 30th birthday. We were greeted by two sweet hosts who read my requests thoroughly from the open table app. We love people who pay attention to detail! They had a high chair ready for my daughter and table waiting for us. We were seated next to the kitchen where we can see all the magic happen lol. I didn't plan it, but we came here during happy hour 3-6 PM. Drinks and apps were a little cheaper so we got a few. I love Their margarita. The lavender mule had a subtle lavender taste, it was delicious. The Artichokes were tasty! I loved the stuffed red peppers it came with. The food was amazing. We had zio's penne pasta and the classic Neopolitan pizza. The kids menu is not shown, but our amazing server Natalia kindly explained the kids options. Our daughter had spaghetti and a meatball. The meatball was huge and tender. It paired well with the spaghetti. The spaghetti sauce was sooo good and sweet. Alright - I saved the best for last: tiramisu was delicate. It was velvety, melt in your mouth good. One of the best tiramisu's I've ever had! We're excited to come back here without our daughter! lol. Date night.Ambiance is extremely loud - but nice vibes!

The food, calamari and Ceasar salad are good starters. The wood fire pizzas are the go to. Good place to eat family style.

Same here to celebrate my birthday. Staff was very flexible and accommodating. The outdoor area was really nice. But, most importantly, every single dish was delicious! Everyone in the party was absolutely happy with what they got.
