As a beer guy in Texas, Pizza Port has been on my bucket list. Pinthouse Pizza successfully 'borrowed' the pizza/craft brewery concept and brought it to Austin, but I've always wanted to check out the OG.After a long day of soccer and beach time, we visited the Solana Beach location to place a to go order and try a few pours. The visit was awesome and a nice highlight of our week in San Diego.Atmosphere was buzzing with a good crowd of families inside and a bunch of chill dogs on the outside parking lot patio seating. I got fast service from friendly staff. The beer tap list was as great as I hoped, with interesting options way beyond the typical IPA heavy beer program. I grabbed a barrel-aged brew and a Belgian. Both were awesome. Our pizzas came out quickly. We went with the pineapple/canadian bacon and a standard pepperoni. The pies were delicious and reasonably-priced.My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer for some more beer. Pizza Port is the truth.

This place is complicated. A customers worst nightmare. You have to order your food separately from your drinks and apparently there's a 50% off deal at lunchtime, but no one tells you about itUgh. Pain in the ass

Cool dive pizza spot. Very hot and muggy inside. No AC. Very casual. You order at counter then wait for them to call your name. There is lots of outside seating. The pizza was okay. I thought they put too much red sauce on the pizza. I wasn't a big fan of sauce either, a bit too sweet for me. The dough and crust was really good though.Glad I got to try it but I would not come back.

Pizza Port brewery offers a delightful experience with its friendly service, clean atmosphere, and exceptional beer and pizza selection. This location is great for sitting outside and watching the works go by. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit, making you feel welcomed from the moment you step in. The brewery maintains high cleanliness standards, contributing to a comfortable dining environment. The beer options are varied and well-crafted, catering to different tastes, while the pizza is mouthwatering and satisfying. Overall, Pizza Port is a must-visit destination for beer and pizza lovers alike, and I'll certainly be returning for more.

This is the OG "original" Pizza Port location in Solana Beach, Ca. The pizza is on point and the prices are very good for the size and amount of food...the service, walk up, is sporadic and they tend to get your orders wrong at times, we received mild wings instead of plain but since it was close to closing time we just bit the bullet...the beers are good, better on tap than in the can. This location has an outdoor seating area in front which gets very busy at certain times of the day, the interior seating is ample but it tends to get very warm inside due to the ovens constantly running...typical pizza port atmosphere, sports bar, wooden picnic tables, paper plates, etc; this location is very convenient to the Del Mar racecourse so a return in the future is more likely than not...SLIGHT RECOMMENDATION

Stopped by here after the fiesta del sol festival and it was super packed but it was still a great experience. We had a large group of 8 and found a table inside quickly. The pizza was great and didn't take too long to come out. Great beer selection with some additional canned kombuchas and ciders.Note: there are two lines. One is to order food and the other is to order drinks.

This place is family fun. Pizza, beer and arcade games. The gluten free was okay. I've had better, but I would get it again. It is also filled with Tomato paste. In other words heavy with it. I would have liked the bell peppers pre grilled. If you want a quick bite. The two slices and a soda is a great fix for $7.99. Also it is a walk distance from the beach.

My family and I visited San Diego before staying at LegoLand. Our hotel was walking distance to Solana Beach. The night we checked in we took a stroll and discovered this eccentric joint called Pizza Port in the sleepy coastal town. We didn't have to wait long by their outdoor tables. The pizza was really good and the crust and sauce were spot on! Beer & pizza are a match made in heaven especially after a 6 hour road trip with our three kiddos!

Stopped in for a beer and hung out for a while enjoying the brew and people watching. I enjoyed the Flyin' Hawaiian Hefeweizen- very nice flavor and beautiful hazy color! My people also enjoyed the Blonde Ale and English Brown Ale. The guava seltzer was also very delicious and refreshing. We also played a little pinball and I got the 4th highest score on the Star Wars game. Fun spot and pizza looked good but we had sushi plans. Try it out!

Every inch and of this restaurant is filthy dirty, like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Neither toilet in the ladies room was working! It is hard to even discuss the food because nothing good can come out of something so dirty!
