Pizza Bosforo

They were setup outside of Thorn Brewing in North Park and I couldn't help but get a pizza. The wood-fired pizza oven was smelling too good. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. One of the best pizzas I've had in a while! Very authentic Italian and it was so refreshing. Everything about the pizza was perfect. I'll be keeping an eye out for these guys!

Pizza Bosforo knows how to elevate a pizza. They're masters of their craft when it comes to creating gourmet pizzas. I'm not often compelled to leave a review for pizza because it's hard for a place to stand out, but Pizza Bosforo makes some of the best I've ever had. What really sets them apart is their perfect sauce, cheese, and crust ratios, combined with high-quality ingredients that are expertly and evenly distributed across their masterpieces. If you're looking for an amazing gourmet pizza that won't break the bank, stop by this place--your taste buds will thank you.

I've been to this place more than a few times so far and felt the need of talking about them for a bit.First thing first, my family background is all Italian and grew up eating all sort of pizzas you can ever imagine. Yes, even with pineapple and now pineapple is definitely a no-no!However, after trying for the first time I went back a couple of more times - since they open next to my place every Thursday. The reason I came back here back-to-back every week is to make sure my new friend, Turkish Chef Sage, didn't just get lucky at making the best pizza I've ever had,me, an Italian who grew up eating all sort of pizza here in US and in Italy.No joke! The dough is just sooo great. I asked him about how he makes the pizza dough and of course he didn't give me his 'secret' recipe -- but told me that he worked on the recipe for about 8 months before he started his journey. Oh man, gotta love it!And let me tell you about the crust!!! Mama Mia :) soft and crispy at the same time but also soo delicious. I ate the whole pizza every time I went there.If you're an Italian or someone who enjoys good wood fried pizza and looking for a place to feel home, go to this place. And you should definitely say hi to Sage, the chef. He is fun to talk to and has a lot passion about his work.

Pizza Bosforo is the only mobile pizza caterer you'll need for your special event. Yes, there are pizza caterers out there in San Diego, but none like this. Chef Seckin Sage and his crew exceeded my expectations. I booked Pizza Bosforo for my wife's birthday party at my residence. Chef's two man team were on time, friendly, enthusiastic and arrived with fantastic attitudes. As the professionals they were, setting up was a breeze. They were able to set up shop on my driveway and presented service in my backyard without any issues. As for the pizzas, hands down the best ever! Guests couldn't stop going back for more. Chef suggested the Magic Mushrooms pizza (white creamy sauce, fresh mozzarella, roasted mushrooms, garlic, parsley, black truffle oil) as part of my catering package. This pizza was the trophy winner of the night and was high demand by the guests (including myself). That being said, look no further, Pizza Bosforo is the one.

Just moved in to my apartment building and discovered this place comes to our building every Tuesday. They are so good! Everything is so fresh, the crust is thin, crispy and doughy all at the same time and I loved it! Definitely making this a Tuesday night staple. And the staff was super friendly and helpful

Pizza Bosforo came to our engagement party and we could not have been more pleased. They made the most beautiful, artisan, delicious and unique pies. They served buffet style pizzas and delicious fresh arugula lemon salad. All of our friends enjoyed it thoroughly and we got so many compliments about the taste and crust. Yes, crust was the best one so far in San Diego. Can't wait to have another party with Pizza Bosforo and Chef Seckin!

Amazing wood fired pizza! Unique toppings and homemade Chili pepper oil. The green pistachio desert pizza is a must try. You gonna love it..

Pizza Bosforo is FIRE They have multiple options for vegetarians, including truffle mushroom!!! But honestly the wood fired dough & sauce is so good on its own, it doesn't even need any toppings. Street food is one of my favorite life experiences. So I love the ambiance of waiting for your pizza to cook wood fired. Its unique & fun :)

Frankly it was the best mash room pizza in my life! Absolutely love it Magic mash room, meatballs and Veggie are my delicious Zone :) ! Thank you guys

Pizza Bosforo is incredible!! They are so professional, friendly, and most importantly they make GREAT pizzas! We've hired them twice already for corporate events and have heard 5-star reviews from employees each time. I think given the chance; our employees would want us to cater from Pizza Bosforo each week :) They are always on time, efficient in their setup/cleanup, and have the best quality ingredients... people were going back for 3rds and 4ths it was THAT good.5-stars all around!
