Yumzio Bistro

We stopped at the Vegan Expo and I saw these cupcakes and they were so pretty that I had to try 1. They had lots of unique flavors, citrus, pineapple, blueberry... I just got the basic chocolate. The chocolate cake was dense, flavorful and moist. It was delicious. The icing was very light, but way sweeter than I prefer.

Newly-opened bistro in the former Mister Bones site. First encounter was a pleasant one. I always welcome a simplified menu featuring fresh ingredients. The menu focuses on traditional breakfast and lunch items. Soups and desserts are made from scratch. Smoothies and protein shakes are also available. Small eat-in section and window counter. Definitely a place to visit on a regular basis in order to help support the success of this small business. .

Amazing. Sadly it's really out of the way, but the vegan wrap I had was certainly one of the better ones. Lots of breakfast options I'll have to try on my next trip out there; friendly staff and also plenty of vegan desserts - what's more to say?

Found this place outside of the difficult parking area of downtown. Very friendly staff and extremely fresh ingredients. I had a breakfast wrap and you could taste and smell the freshness of the veggies and potatoes. Also the wrap itself was very fresh. Great prices and always love the opportunity to find locally owned small businesses to support. Def recommend checking this place out.

Kudos to this cafe for making a lot of bold strides into vegetarian and vegan food! I know it's difficult to find a lot of meatless options in town, but Yumzio caters to a specific menu for just this purpose. The pros include reasonably priced, good-sized portions and freshly made dishes with rotating daily features. Also, the scones are probably my favorite because they are so soft and not too sweet, which I prefer to scones with a solid coating of sugar that I can barely finish in one sitting. The owner on the other hand is super sweet, which is a plus when it comes to small businesses! The only cons that I must mention are that the new location is in the former Sun Dawg spot, below the street level. As such it appears to face the same issues with ventilation that Sun Dawg used to have, so you leave smelling like grill smoke. For this reason I'll opt for takeout/delivery, but I would caution against dining in if you're sensitive to smells. I also want to add that some of the food I have ordered previously is a bit too salty for my taste, but I've never specified this in my order so it's possible that it could be prepared with less salt upon request. Overall, this place is nice for a standard breakfast/lunch spot in town for the price, and the highlight is the special vegetarian and vegan menu with ever-growing choices.

It's a thrill to have a restaurant in the area that offers vegan breakfast and lunch all day. The vegan pancakes taste like cinnamon and are very tasty. They give large cups of coffee. The home fries with onions and peppers are delicious. And the tofu scramble/wrap is really yummy. Nice portions, good service, excellent bakery items--this place is great! They also offer regular meals, but for vegan/vegetarians, this place is a must. Nice location, nice prices. Definitely recommend.

This place is such a nice addition to the downtown life. All my wife and I (who both work on Main St) wanted was an affordable and delicious place that had food for the both of us. We finally have it! Whether you're hungry for breakfast or lunch (or both) this is great place to go!

We had an amazing lunch at Yumzio Bistro. The salad was fresh and the vegan ranch was homemade. My daughter got the tofu wrap and I got the vegan/gluten-free veggie omelet. Both were delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommend! We will go back next time we're in the area.

This is our favorite place to eat when we are in the area! Excellent service, very clean, very reasonable prices, great food and vegan options!! The owner is very sweet and extremely accommodating!! The food is excellent and is made to order. We will definitely keep coming back!!
