WOODS & RIVER COFFEE

This place is amazing. We were definitely wary. Oil City isn't exactly a culinary mecca, but Woods & River coffee is fantastic. I had a super tasty River Fog - lavender infused Earl Grey w/ a hint of vanilla and steamed milk. No sugar needed. It was excellent! My husband got a sausage, egg, & cheddar English muffin. I got an egg & provolone English muffin. First - the freshness & flavor of that English muffin was right up there with any we've had in DC/Pittsburgh/NYC (where we live/spend a lot of time). I wish they had a non-meat or more healthy meat (turkey sausage?) option, but I would most definitely order another! And my husband loved his sandwich. The service was prompt and friendly. The food hot, fresh, & flavorful. They had cute local items for sale that you can peruse while you wait. No couches/comfy chairs - just a smattering of chairs & tables. There's a small outdoor patio. We'll definitely be back!

This is a pleasantly surprising cute coffee spot! I travel a lot and always find a cafe before I drive to a next city. This area is quite remote that even a Starbucks doesn't exist, which is good! When searching this cafe didn't even have a yelp review yet, and I had to write one. Staff was so nice, my request to put some honey in my latte was kindly accepted without any charge, and I appreciated their wifi where my phone doesn't even get 5G signal. While doing some work, they had many many customers swing by. I believe this is their local gem. Come visit this place and support small local businesses! (Bonus: The outdoor patio has a river view.)
