they did stop the smoking. Now my favorite bar food. Great food best damn wings in town. Fries are fresh cut.

Best Burger I had in awhile. I had the peckerhead burger. It had bbq sauce and onion rings. The flavor and texture of the burger was perfectly done. It was on a toasty ciabatta bread. I love their breaded wings too. This place has five star food in not a five star establishment. Its pretty country divey but has a really beautiful back deck you can eat on.

Topical bar food.. portions are good and the food is good also. This time I had the Sriracha Bourbon Flatbread Pizza, over all it was good the sauce tasted like BBQ sauce not really Sriracha sauce but it was still good. only problem I Had was the menu online wasn't the actual menu. Some items were not on the menu anymore but other then that it was good!They recently built more semi outdoor seating it's very nice!PROS$Bigger menuStaff is friendlyCONSMenu may veryBOTTOM LINEIf you work near by or happen to be in the area I would not hesitate to order. But I wouldn't go outa my way.

A decent local spot with typical bar food. Be sure to check out the daily specials on beer and food. I definitely recommend the chicken salad, it's huge and comes totally loaded. They've also got a large outdoor deck, pool tables and plenty of TV's.

I am so impressed with the food at Woodpeckers!! The fact that the bar/restaurant is a smoking permitted establishment, I didn't have any issues when I visited on a weeknight. I am glad because if it would have been on a weekend and it was smoky I might not be writing this review because I probably wouldn't have tried the food. I can be social and have a few cocktails in a smoking environment but I cannot eat where there it smoking. The menu is large but not overwhelming and definitely something for everyone. They even have frog legs! There is a section on the menu for "tator tot skillets" who doesn't love tator tots?!! There are at least ten different variations.. we chose the "taco tots" which were seasoned ground meat, taco seasoning, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Oh this was heaven on a skillet no doubt. The Woodpecker burger (can't remember the exact name) had pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, onion rings and bbq sauce.. it was delicious!! Served on a brioche bun.. it was easy to slice and share .. to eat. The fries were fresh cut and so good. Little bit of salt n pepa .. they were gone fast! Luckily I am in the are often since my boyfriend resides in Lower Burrell but I do feel if you aren't in the area its worth the drive to experience this food... it was outta sight :) The service was also excellent at the bar. Thanks Woodpeckers Pub & Grub.. we will no doubt be back!

7/17/20 Awful. Never order from here!!!!! Created website with online order and cannot get your food when states it will be ready. Says 30 min took 1.5 hours for food. I waited in bar for over 40 min being told it will be a couple of minutes. Missing food. No manager on. Told me to call back tomorrow that the manager wont call me. Cannot deliver missing food that's backed up is what is stated.While waiting I watched people stand at bar for over 10 minutes without being greeted. Customers waiting for drinks and food. Not that busy. 7/18/20 Update: No call by management about poor service or refund for food that never got plus tipping 20% on food I never received.

It's such a shame this place is filled with people of ill repute because the pizza is excellent. Im not going to lie you won't feel safe here but the pizza is so good. I would recommend take out but do it early it gets rowdy and recently had a shooting. It's a clean facility but the people there look homeless. ( yes that kind of place) . We would never walk in if the pizza wasn't so good. Again , watch your surroundings when you enter and only get pizza to go.

Very Disappointed That Woodpeckers Monday pizza special has changed. I called to order pizza for the family for dinner. Only to be told that the Pizza Special has been changed to eat in ONLY. Well that sucks! There is a reason I get take out. Woodpeckers is a smoking allow bar/restaurant. I don't want to sit and smell smoke while we eat.Guess I'll take my business to a different Bar/Pizza place. For Monday pizza night. I mean if I'm paying full price there are much better options. Hope the drink sales money of making people eat in. Is more than the lost takeout orders.

Came here with friends after a day trip of Kayaking. I was very excited to see all the wonderful tater tot options (yes I'm a 4 year old trapped in an adult body) I also really liked the atmosphere and looked around at all the fun events and live entertainment it seems like they host regularly. I definitely would like to come back. It seem like a really fun place that I should hang out at more often. Please do yourself a favor and get the buffalo tots!

Nice bar with a cool layout and a huge outdoor seating area. Friendly attentive service. With good food and good choices.
