Wood Stoked Oven

I'll admit that I'm hard to impress when it comes to pizza. I make my own pizza, from scratch, dough and all which has turned me into a pizza snob. I prefer to control my ingredients, using only high quality, fresh stuff and most pizza places just don't meet my expectations. We've had Wood Stoked Pizza twice now and I have to say, their pizza is better than mine and a heck of a lot more convenient! You can tell that everything is made from scratch and they take great care into selecting their ingredients. I love their crust and really delicious toppings. We've tried the Margherita, white pizza and Buffalo and honestly couldn't pick a favorite because they were all that good. I also love the cookies that they offer from a local bakery. It's the perfect treat after a pizza dinner. The other thing worth mentioning is the staff. Everyone has been extremely friendly and accommodating. I love that you can call ahead to place an order, select a pickup time and it's actually ready when they say it will be. Highly recommend and look forward to many more pizzas in the future!

We had the opportunity to try this food truck out at the farmer's market today. It was a little bit of a long wait but well worth it. My boyfriend and I both ordered the pepperoni pizza and wow was it good! I didn't expect much from a $10 pizza but boy was I pleasantly surprised. The pizza was cooked just right and had the perfect amount of toppings and sauce on it. I also thought that it was the perfect size. I'm always down for a slice that you can fit in one hand. I'm glad that we gave this place a try and we'll definitely be back. I want to experience that buffalo chicken pizza next!

Wood Stoked was at trax farms recently and I was so happy I got to try it. I had a chance to talk with some of the workers in the truck before it got crowded and they were all really nice people. I am not sure if their menu is always the same, but on this day they had the options of regular pizza, pepperoni, margarita, and buffalo chicken. I went with the margarita and it was so good! The crust had a great doughy flavor. The pizza had a perfect char on it as well. Will definitely be trying the buffalo chicken pizza next time I see them!

Picked up pizza at Bloom Brew and waited about 45 minutes.Was I annoyed? Yes.Was I probably a little hangry? Also yes.Was it worth it? 3 out of 4 people in my house say yes.I enjoyed the Big Pig and the Classic Cheese and Pepperoni pizzas were a hit with the kids.My husband thought the char was a little too much, but who listens to their husband anyway?All in all, I didn't mind the char and it's a small business. We should support small businesses.

This is great pizza!! I've tried the margarita and the Bee sting. The margarita was great! But holy smokes the bee sting was even better!!

Picked up a pizza from Wood Stocked Oven when it was at a nearby food truck event. Nice young lady taking the orders on a hot day. The pizza maker must have been ready to melt! Really enjoyed the pizza. Thinner crust with a tomato sauce that was more on the acidic side. Wish there was a little more seasoning in the sauce too.

I purchased a white pizza w spinach and mushrooms at the Robinson farmers market. I bought it to eat later in the evening. The gentleman that waited on me was kind enough to partially cook it and told me how to reheat it to avoid sogginess. It later cooked to perfection and was by far the best white pizza we've ever had!!!

Wood Stoked Oven is always amazing! We go to support their food truck whenever we have the chance! They are always at the farmers markets with their fresh pizzas! Not only is the pizza delicious, it's also kid approved!! I've recommended them to many friends and haven't heard a negative comment yet! The buffalo chicken pizza is my husbands favorite and I love just a classic cheese with pepperoni! Keep tossing those pies because they are the best!! I encourage everyone to at least try once!

Awesome. Great char on the dough, the right proportion of sauce and cheese. Quality pizza. Great to find in the south hills (Usc). I just wish I could have it every Friday religiously.

Two words. Bee sting. Yes Michigan and Trumbull started the hot honey and pepperoni style around here, but they moved back to Detroit. Add jalapeños and you get their Bee Sting. Excellent pizza. Worth the price. Check them out if they are in your area. You won't be disappointed.
