Wise County Biscuits

I had had WCB on my radar ever since seeing them at the Bloomfield farmers market. Once they opened up a brick and mortar, I knew I had to try to stop by! We went around 11:30 am on a Sunday, and the line was all inside, but it quickly grew to the outside as we got closer to the counter. Have no fear, they are so effiencent on getting tables cleared and politely encouraging customers to be mindful of their dining in time so the tables can be consistently serving new customers. The food was so fresh and was incredible! I had the pour-over coffee, the smoothest I had ever tasted. We each got breakfast sandwiches, mine with sausage and his with bacon and a side of potatoes. The restaurant is modern and fresh. Very clean and very productive. The employees are very friendly and great at their jobs. We will certainly be back!

Nice little place with beautifully presented breakfast plates. Order before you sit! Busy with lots of take-out. Wait in line to place your order and then they'll seat you and bring your food out. Deliciously prepared food. The Corned Beef Hash and Sausage Gravy was delicious.

Went with family+ Ambiance- great warm feel inside, nice tapestry, light touch of homey decor that befits a biscuit place but doesn't feel like a hobby lobby+ chicken and biscuits is amazing- the crisp and honeyed first bite was awesome, as was each one until the last. + Service was five stars. A full restaurant for dine in, but found us a spot quickly and even got our kids something special

Such a cute and charming breakfast place. Hubby had the 2 egg breakfast, son, the bacon egg & cheese biscuit, and I had the biscuit and gravy with a side of grits. Biscuits were good, and the eggs were a bit over salted, gravy was as well. Unfortunately the grits were a mix of watery slop and clumps swimming in butter. Mine were missing the cheddar, which I would have mentioned to them if I thought it would help. Iced coffee was delicious, and the bacon was fantastic. Service was friendly and attentive and food came super quick

Great little breakfast place that my son found. You order at the counter and then find a place to sit. There was a line to order food and the menus are up at the front counter. I would suggest walking up and grabbing one so that you can look over it while standing in line. We went with the Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit bites, the Fried Chicken Biscuit, and the Your Way Sandwich with cheese and bacon jam. There were no available tables so we ended up sitting at the counter. Everything was so delicious and the coffee and water refills kept coming. Would definitely come here again!

Absolutely recommend! This was my first time here. Super cute and sunny spot. Seating inside and out. I got biscuits and gravy w sunny side egg. It was mind blowingly good. Everyone else loved their stuff. Before we left we got their honey butter corn cookie (outstanding) dark chocolate rice crispy treat (my partner said outstanding) and a piece of sweet potato pie. This will be a repeat.

My husband and I were so excited to finally check this place out. We have been following them on social media since their farmers market pop-up days. They did not disappoint. When we stepped inside it felt like walking into our grandma's kitchen. It was so cozy and we loved all of the old timey decor. The biscuits were incredible. The homemade sausage on the biscuit sandwich had amazing flavor. The potatoes were quite possibly the best home fries I've ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My husband loved his biscuits and sausage gravy. We'll definitely be making regular stops here.

Two egg breakfast with grits, scratch-made biscuit, house-made grape jam, mushroom patty was egg-celent! Not being a fan of commercial grape jelly, I was hesitant, but this was really good; not overly sweet with an emphasis on real grape flavor. Mushroom patty was a pleasant surprise--not dry nor too moist; savory without being overpoweringly umami. Only disappointment was the coffee, which--for me--was just not dark nor bold in flavor; those liking lighter roasts may like it. Lovely ambience: bright, clean, nice bathroom (single & unisex) with baby-changing table. Kind of clean that would get a mom seal of approval. Fast & friendly service w/coffee refills. Right across from City Books, too!

We loved wise county biscuits!! The inside of the place is so cute and the staff is top notch. We liked how comfortable everyone made us feel. The eggs were delicious, bacon was solid, potatoes were amazing and the biscuit was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Grits were not a favorite. We enjoyed the flow of the place. The cranberry lemonade was sweet but delicious and refreshing and was large enough to enjoy by two people.

Get here early, but even if you have to wait....it is worth it. The biscuits are so fluffy and the sausage gravy is better than anything I've ever had (even in the south)! The breakfast potatoes are perfectly seasoned and crispy. We also had a corn muffin with flecks of bacon.The space is very cozy and the service is fast. What I wasn't super keen on was the coffee, but I just don't like mine that strong.
