The man running the place is so nice, came with a couple friends and the - I assume the owner - was so nice. Came outside to do a tasting which is only $5 for 5 tastes. Got to sit outside and look at the vineyard with some rain and some nice music in the background. The main thing I can not stress is how nice the owner is. I do not like wine, but my friends do, but the atmosphere is incredible and the service is out of this world!

This spring, we took a class on making the Easter version (multiple layers of color) of Ukrainian egg making. I wish we had taken this class first. Not only were the eggs already blown out but a penciled in grid was already on the eggs. Our instructor was the mother/mother-in-law of the winery owners. By no stretch of the imagination are we Martha Stewart but 3 adults and 3 children (ages 8 to 14) had a good time. We were able to purchase flights of wine, glasses, and bottles. All of their wine is bottled in very pretty cobalt blue glass. The winery is off the beaten path. It is located about an hour from downtown Pittsburgh. Directions are very easy ... 51 South then just a couple turns and you are at their front door. Looking forward to returning when there are grapes on the vines.

We ended up visiting Winslow Winery as a part of the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour. We visited fairly late on a Saturday and had the outdoor space to ourselves. The winery is located just off Route 51 near the Perryopolis Sokol Club and St. John's school. It was surprising to see such a beautiful vineyard located in a neighborhood. The views outside from the patio are very nice, peaceful, and calming. To start, we opted for the seated flights and chose all their sweet wines. Collectively, our group's favorites were the strawberry and black raspberry fruit wines. I also enjoyed the Riesling. We shared a bottle of the strawberry at the winery, then purchased a bottle of the black raspberry to go. Overall, we had a great experience here and would recommend it. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a 10% off coupon on bottles too.

We have been here in the past when it had just opened up. We are doing the Laurel Highlands Pour Tour. I'm happy we waited to come back. The wine has improved in what it tastes like and the amount of wine that they have available. The dornfelder was my favorite. However I tried the Pinotage, Pinot Noir, Cab, Syrah and Petit Verdot, they were all very good. I was very impressed with the wine and want to use this winery in my next event for raising money for students to study abroad. I recommend visiting this winery, it's outside of Pittsburgh but has very good wine. Wine Sampling is complimentary at 5 samples.

Don't be fooled by the outside; this place is awesome. It's very small, but I loved that about Winslow Winery. I really got personalized service and learned a lot about the business. The mother of the owner was working when I visited and she was so kind to show us the back room and show us where all their wine is made and bottled. Winslow Winery has a decent listing of wines and I would say about half of them are from their own grapes grown in the vineyard in the back, while the other half are made from juice they purchase. We mostly tried varieties that are grown on-site and they were all so good. There are a couple tables inside and a couple outside. We visited late September and the weather was absolutely perfect to sit outside. It was so peaceful! Winslow Winery has a very laid back environment and I recommend you give them a try!

Great little surprise find for me in the area. Never knew they existed until I saw their booth at the Perryopolis Farmers Market. Was very happy to see a local winery making some very good wines. I sampled many of them, but found that my favorites were their Chambourcin and Fredonia. I also found that they make some very good fruit wines that I enjoyed. I will definitely make this one of my regular go-to's. They have a very cute little wine tasting area as well. I would definitely try to deal more with the younger ladies when doing the tasting. I have had two experiences with the older woman, who I am assuming is the owner. She was nice, but my family and I found her to be very cold and not very "inviting". I in no way am saying she was rude, she most certainly did her job, but She lacked the warmth and personal connections that would attract and keep her customers coming back. The other girls working the tasting bar were fantastic.

Small winery with big flavors! Stop by on Fri, Sat or Sun and be sure to try the white port (my favorite!).

Great place. Awesome people making wine by rolling up their sleeves and doing it all. Don't let the drive up the hill or the store front deceive you. Inside is great, with beautiful views. Very friendly and the wine is 90+. Very knowledgeabe about wine, grapes and the process.Very recommended!!!
