Willow Station

Super cute neighborhood bar and grill.  Local spot that focuses on serving high quality food in a friendly and fun atmosphere.  They are located in Castle Shannon in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.  Open seven days a week.  They have happy hour every Monday to Friday 4p-6p!  Also offering daily features that consist of desserts, wing flavors, soups, and more!  They offer online ordering which is super nice and convenient.  Indoor and outdoor dining is available.  Loved sitting on their patio and enjoying a buffalo chicken wrap and some s'mores nachos. Service was okay, for how busy they were I would have expected more attentiveness.

We just moved to the area, and were looking for a lunch spot after shopping. I immediately noticed their neon green sign, which is awesome. The main door is a stained glass made by a local artist depicting a sandwich and a beer. Character everywhere so far!Small, comfortable, welcoming bar area with patrons that were all smiling and looking like that come here a lot. It's plastered with Pittsburgh art by local artists and also vintage-looking beer signs and the like. There is a modest inside dining area where we sat with my 4yo daughter. Another family with young kids eating there. Good, fast service! Everything we had came hot and fresh! Hand battered fish and onion rings. I got the shrimp po boy with side of onion rings. Very good, filling and fresh. We'll definitely be back many more times!

If you're looking for good bar food, come here! They have a parking lot behind them, as well as some street parking. They also have a small back patio, which was nice!! That's where we sat this day. Our waitress was very nice, answered questions, joked around.I ordered a long island iced tea, which was good! The hot pepper cheese balls were delish. Pittsburgh salad was also very good. I would order all food again, if in the mood. DEFINITELY THEM CHEESE BALLS!

Good (and huge!) burger. This was a new area for me to explore as I live in the city and was down in the area. Nice bar and restaurant.

I really enjoyed it here! They have a lot of homemade items including all of their salad dressings and breaded chicken strips. I had a salad with ranch dressing-yum. A lot of food-I took some home. They only have hightop tables if that bothers you. Their staff was terrific and very friendly. Everyone around us seemed to really enjoy being there. I would definitely go back and recommend it!

This place really surprised me. It's on my street and my adult kids frequently stop down for a drink or a bite to eat. They rave about it so of course my husband and I had to try. Super friendly service and good food. Love the happy hour specials and the rotating specials. Thrilled to have this little gem on our street.

Pittsburgh has me with the 4 star reviews! Come for the trivia leave with a deep fried tummy full of yummy. I know i know this is another eroginously positive review that did not end in a 5 star happy ending but I cannot just hand out Five star reviews! We will be back at willow station time and time again because it is consistent. Wings are not my favorite in town but they might be yours, i like mine a little more deep fried / breaded these were a little more naked - oh note this will be a highly joint review combining some visit - on the pictured review we got chicken tenders they were delicious, the fried here are top tier very good, i have also gotten fried fish here also very good me lady the veg head has gotten salads here they are salads at a sports bar so keep your imagineation open but they do the tick. Service is very kind and the ambiance hits the spot for local dive bar, love that we can hop right off the train and head in for some grub and some beers. Willow station we will be back.

Recently visited the Willow station for the first time. Had a fantastic burger, and the price was awesome, service was very very good. Food was excellent returning very soon.
