Wildwood Golf Club

I always have a great experience at Wildwood! The staff is super friendly and accommodating and the service is quick. I recently went for breakfast & enjoyed the eggs benedict. They make a good espresso martini too!The pool is so fun in the summer! The kids pool area is really nice with a slanted pool entrance so it's accommodating even for little babies! Love that the pool bar carries Stateside drinks because they are the best, especially in the summer!

Attended an event here, so I can only comment of the gathering and hall space, as well as the staff. Very nicely done! The place was very nicely set up, the food delicious, and the staff friendly and professional. It's a nice looking private club, and I look forward to golfing there with a friend who's a member in the coming months. The course, as much as I saw, looks nicely laid out and should be fun to play.

We had such an incredible experience planning and having our wedding with Wildwood Golf Club - our original date was supposed to be 5/15/2021 but we ended up making the decision to postpone to June 2022 a few months before the wedding due to pandemic concerns. We did both our ceremony & reception at Wildwood and having both events in one location made things so easy. Carrie was our main point of contact and and so incredibly accommodating, understanding, and a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process with all of our changes. Carrie, Rachel, and the Wildwood team executed and exceeded our expectations with their attention to detail and quality of service. Our guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful of a venue Wildwood was (especially the back deck which had been newly redone the week leading up to our wedding and provided an amazing space for our cocktail hour). The passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were incredible and a huge hit with all of our guests - we opted for the mini beef wellingtons, mini crab cakes, and Brazilian croquettes after we did our tasting. We used the tea room to host a family only Chinese tea ceremony before the main ceremony and the venue provided all the tea cups, tea, and set up the chairs in the space for us prior. Our main ceremony after the tea ceremony was in front of the venue's building on what used to be a putting green (another option was to have our ceremony in the back of the building but we decided we liked all the greenery in the front) - we brought in our own arch for the ceremony which we dropped off the day before (as well as all of our other reception decor/items in labeled boxes - which Carrie, Rachel and their team set up for us on the day of) and the venue provided a podium & microphone for our officiant and set up all of the chairs for the ceremony (we had approximately 100 guests). Carrie also made several helpful suggestions to us a few weeks before the wedding to make sure our vendors had the information they'd need in advance so that everyone knew where they were going on the day of. Our reception was in the ballroom which is a beautiful space, and we chose a seated dinner option (beef tenderloin, chicken marsala, & vegetable ravioli were our options for our guests) with dessert assortment of tiramisu, variety cheesecakes, and chocolate mouse cake which were all amazing. At the end of the night when our event ended at 11pm we didn't have to worry about packing anything ourselves - the club boxed up and had everything waiting for us the next day to pick up by late morning which made ending the night so easy and stress free for us. I'd definitely recommend Wildwood for any other brides considering having their wedding in the North or anyone just looking to host a special event in their beautiful spaces, and can't express enough how grateful we are for the experience and memories we now have to look back on. Amazing food, incredible service, and just a gorgeous space to celebrate your special day. Hoping my husband and I can find another reason to host a special event at Wildwood in the future!

This is the best country club, hands down, in the north suburbs. Fantastic course conditions, superb dining, great pool and tennis, plus an accommodating staff.

I had my wedding at Wildwood in August 2017 and would definitely recommend Wildwood to any friends or family looking for a location for their event. Bridget was very helpful and kept my bridal stress to a minimum leading up to the day and then on the actual day she kept everything in line and helped everyone stick to the timeline! The rest of the staff was also very kind and attentive. Everyone has been telling us how amazing their food was since the wedding! One of the best days ever thanks to Wildwood Golf Club!

Wildwood Golf Club is just the type of club you would imagine being a member of when you think of Golf/Country Clubs. Luxurious dining facilities, gorgeous, well-manicured greens with flowers as far as the eye can see and friendly, helpful staff to make your time here all you could hope for whether you are dining, lounging by the pool, playing a rousing match at the tennis courts or just enjoying a fun round of golf on the challenging 18 Hole Course. Before turning into the driveway of the club you can catch a glimpse of the Clubhouse sitting high on the hilltop, a picture doesn't do justice to how it looks in person. When you turn onto the driveway the beautiful landscape takes your breath away thanks to the highly-dedicated and detail oriented grounds and maintenance staff. The course is beautifully maintained and constantly improving with recent renovations including lightning fast greens, recently reconditioned bunkers and multiple tees. This course provides a nice and challenging round of golf for all skill levels. The pool and tennis facilities (also constantly improving) are some of the best around and are ALWAYS being utilized by members when in season. The pool facility was upgraded in 2014 with a new upper pool deck and bar area next to the sand volleyball courts. Members enjoy club hosted events all summer long for all ages! The Tennis Center also saw major improvements in 2014 with new decking overlooking the courts and more! Wildwood has an active group of tennis-playing members who are always looking for the next match! Finally, the Clubhouse is beautiful with timeless charm and modern updates, you get the best of both worlds. The service staff is attentive and helpful! Great food from a great Chef and his well-trained kitchen staff, as well as, great member events all year long. Friday nights at the main bar (or pool bar when in season) really show just how close and tight knit the membership is! If you are looking to host birthday parties, business meetings or other events, Wildwood has meeting rooms that are very generous in space and availability. If you are hosting a wedding or a reception you have come to the right place. I have seen countless weddings/receptions at Wildwood and although they are all weddings/receptions, each one has looked completely different and unique. The staff really gives A+ effort in making sure events go off without a hitch (or with a hitch I guess if it's a wedding ;))! All in all I would say Wildwood Golf Club is an ideal place to belong. Nostalgia, Fun and Community! What more could you want?
