Same high prices, but not as good as Craftworks Kitchen used to be in the same spot. You can tell that some of the stuff is not house made or just doesn't have the flavor. My last time there I had the buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap itself was cold, which was weird. It also just kind of tasted like a chicken ranch wrap, very little buffalo flavor. Their ranch is either not house made or just not a good recipe.

Best hot dogs ever! Excellent service and atmosphere. For anyone riding the T to Downtown this is a hotspot for really good hot dogs! Just get off at Steel Plaza and take the US Steel Tower access for the best hot dogs in Pittsburgh! How to get to Wiener World on the T:1. Get off the T at Steel Plaza2. At the top of the escalator or stairs, turn left.2a. If you take the elevator up, on the mezzanine turn right.3. Turn right at the schedule rack.4. Keep left towards US Steel Tower and go through the revolving door.4a. There is a Wiener World sign in the US Steel Tower access.6. Once in the US Steel Tower, go past Istanbul Grille and Wiener World is straight ahead next to Italian Village Pizza.

If you want a special hot dog or unique sandwiches, this is the place to get it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile. You order at the counter and you can either choose to eat there or take it togo, there are no chair seating, just table tops. Even though it's downtown the parking wasn't bad and I was able to get street parking easily, although there is a lot of loitering around the area but that's downtown for you! I definitely got my Chicago dog fix and the large fries were plenty!

Great stop for hot dogs, patty melts, and fish sandwiches!Come early or call in for no waitOver the past few weeks, I was able to order a few different items in the menu. I first ordered a combo with a chili cheese dog and gravy fries. The chili was overloaded on the hot dog and messy, in a good way. The gravy was just ok, not much flavor.Next, I tried the patty melt. It was amazing! Literally melts in your mouth. Right about of onions and cheese. Finally the best for last, the huge fish sandwich! Enough to split and feed two people. Comes with lettuce, tomato, and tarter. Crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside Eveything was hot and fresh and good portion for price

This is my favorite lunch spot downtown. It's your typical no frills take out joint. I get the same thing every time I go, though I know I should try new items. I always get a combo which includes a natural casing dog, fries, and a drink. I take a walk on the wild side and get cheese sauce on my hot dog and fries. Everything comes to under $10, which can't be beat! They have all beef hot dogs as well. In addition to hot dogs, they have hoagies, a fish sandwich, and ice cream! The staff is always sooo friendly and even though it gets a little busy around lunch time, they have a great system and they get you in and out quickly. There is no where to sit in here but they do have a ledge where you can stand and eat if you choose to. If you live/work/visit downtown, this place is worth a try!

I come here for soft serve all the time in the summer. Perfect downtown sweet treat, just beware long lines at lunch.Wish they were open on the weekends and I wish they had a veggie dog on the menu. But it's a classic place so I can't really fault them. Must-eat in downtown PGH.

Rating it for what it is - a hot dog joint - and it gets 5 stars all the way!Service was friendly and fast. And helpful being a first timer.Dogs are made fresh and full of flavor.Dog 1 - All beef dog, yellow mustard and sauerkraut: the mustard had a slight tang to it (loved it) and the kraut seemed to be house made. The bun was so soft. Hot dog cooked perfectly. It was fantastic!Dog 2 - All beef dog, yellow mustard and chili... no beans in the chili sauce!! Heck yeah!! I loved the chili sauce. They put just the right amount on too. Again, fantastic!Total cost for 2 dogs as described and a bottle of water was $10.Cannot wait to hit this place up again when in downtown PIT.I was in town for an event at the conference center. I parked in a parking garage directly across the street from Wiener World. So, if you can't find street parking, pop into the garage. It's worth it!

In town on business and saw this place out of my hotel room window. DELICIOUS! Chili dog with a small side of fries. Perfect bun, mild spiced dog, chili with a tad bit of heat. Super crispy fries. Super nice people work there! What a find!

Second time in a row i ordered a Chicago dog and the bun was really stale - seriously. Regular dog was fine. I miss Yovi's.

Came in here today and waited nearly a half hour for my fish sandwich... then was told I was in back of the line and was yelled at literally by the entire staff saying I wasn't there I asked for a refund and that upset them even more ... this place is ran by a bunch unprofessional dirty people and the joint is dirty too I won't be back. U can smell it stinks right when you walk in.
