Widnoon Soft Serve

As a result of Visit PA's 2023 Scooped An Ice Cream Trail, we stopped by on our trip from Erie to Pittsburgh.We were definitely over hill over dale. We traveled through many small towns to find this ice cream shop. According to their Visit PA page, they are known for their nachos ... waffle cone (chips) and soft serve ice cream. We attempted to order medium cones. The staff warned us that they serve large portions. We ended up getting "small cones" (see picture) . Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs. Eventually, we conquered the cones. It was nice to see families, couple, and single people enjoying ice cream on a hot, sunny day. We shared a picnic table with a gentleman who was a hot fudge sundae expert. Apparently, he had already been to this location twice in the last week. He shared that he was celebrating his 60th high school reunion this year. Lots of parking in a gravel lot.

This is one of the best ice cream places north of pittsburgh reasonably priced and big serving.So good you can't pass it up

This place is famous in the area for their great ice cream and huge cone sizes. They have a new flavor every week, as well as the usual vanilla, chocolate, and twists. They also have a lot of other ice cream dishes, such as flurries, shakes, and sundaes, but I always stick with the cones. It's about a 45 min drive one way from where I live, but it's worth it every time.

We greatly enjoyed our frozen treats. Glad we were warned to order smaller than usual - those portions are no joke!

Have always had great ice cream and so delicious, last few times I ve been there, it's dirty , serving windows are dirty , counter outside filthy . Ice cream and stuff spill where standing at counter , . Music very loud , girls not working inside , messing around. Last time I was there, I had a hair in my ice cream . Maybe new owners, was never like that before . I understand it is very busy , but when girls are just messing around inside , they could be cleaning something ...Very disappointed..

You get a HUGE amount of ice cream for cheap! It's really really good ice cream too!! I'm in love with this place!!!

Ice cream is great,new flavor every week. If you want a small cone,order a baby cone!!!!! Very generous with their servings,no complaints here!!!! One more thing,sometimes you have to wait in line,but it is worth it!!!!!!
