Enjoyed a Friday night dinner here while passing through town. WOW! I was very impressed. My waitress Bri was so great! There were a few people waiting for larger groups to be seated at the front, but I went in as a single person and was seated immediately at a large booth.Most of the steaks are listed as MP so you do need to ask your waiter if you'd like to check cost in advance. I enjoyed a huge 12oz NY Strip that I thought was reasonably priced at $30. It included two large sides and Texas toast. I went with the jumbo baked potato as that's what they're known for (comes with sour cream and a LOT of those little whipped butter containers), and a side salad with their special homemade sweet & sour dressing. I recommend asking for the dressing on the side, like it was served to me, to control the amount. It was very sweet so it only needed a few dabs. I ordered my steak medium but it came medium rare - I wasn't bothered AT ALL, it was delicious, but the waitress did notice and quickly asked if it was cooked to my liking. $30 for all that was well worth it! I also ordered a peanut butter pie for the road!

We have always driven by this spot when in the area and was always busy. We decided to stop in to give it a try but will never return. Due to the impending snow it was not crowded and we were seated right away and greeted by a server. She was ok, got our drink order in and the appetizer came before we even ordered. The platter was great except the hot wings were little too spicy. The bread basket was tasty. That's where it ended....the prime rib was gray, my sandwich was not prepared correctly, the rice eas hard crunchy. Everything but the salad made our whole party sick to their stomach.

A home-made WV copy of Texas Roadhouse. Not part of a chain, but a one-off restaurant (key word being "West," with hand-painted mural outside. It took awhile to sink in on me, but the building and its approach in the St. Clairsville shopping center are unique. I ordered the 10 oz sirloin with mixed vegetables and cole slaw. All were excellent. The steak was a standout, beautifully aged and marinated in Italian dressing, tender and bursting with flavor. Vegetables were steamed/soft but delicious when dipped in melted herb butter (provided without being asked). Server Lexi was friendly, attentive and fast. I will be back!

Our server Jazayah was the best server we have had in a long time. Food was hot and amazing! I had a strip steak and it was cooked perfectly. Baked potato was big and yummy. Salad was good too. The rolls were soft and have a sweetness to them. They serve real butter which is always a plus. As we were leaving everyone was so kind and friendly. This visit reminded me that we need to come here way more than we do.
