Wedgewood Fernando's Pizza - Austintown

The best pizza spot in town. Every time I'm visiting, I have to make a stop for a pizza here. The sauce tastes homemade and fresh, so delicious and the crust is crispy and not too thick or thin. I usually get the house special with pepperoni and peppers and it never disappoints! Highly recommend this spot!

It hurts my heart to be writing this review. I have been coming to Wedgewood in Austintown my entire life. Now that I live in Arizona, every trip we make to Ohio, we make sure to get our Wedgewood fix!We placed our order in person on a Sunday, as they were not answering the phone after 10 minutes of off and on calling. Luckily we were close by. The first upset was that they were out of 16" sheet pizzas... like how are you out of one size crust?? We were frustrated we had to order several personal pizzas as that's all they had. Much more than we were originally planning on spending. No issues with pickup, that's the same as it's always been. On the plus side, they do accept card payments now! When we finally dug into our highly anticipated pizza, I was struck with disappointment. The crust was so chewy (in a bad way) and stale af!!! I'm guessing they either buy their crusts or pre-make them now and par-bake them before busy times. Otherwise, dough balls can definitely be smushed together to make a bigger pizza. The flavor was lacking as well. Fernando is probably rolling in his grave to see what has been done with his establishment!

Quick trip to Ohio and I found this gem! Wedgewood doesn't play when it comes to pizza. Best pie I have had in a long time. Went with the original and it was loaded with fresh toppings and cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious!

I always have to have some Wedgewood Pizza when I make my annual trip to Youngstown.RIP Fernando, you were a true artist when it comes to pizza and the way you revolutionize pizza making makes you a true legend.Love their I love the crust on this pizza I love the cheese on the pizza I love the sauce on this pizza. There's just not enough good things I can say about Wedgewood pizza..

This is the original location of Fernando's Wedgewood Pizza. Went here for lunch with friends, and we each got an 8 inch personal pizza, and we ended up trading slices with each other. I ordered the House Special, which is topped with tomato sauce, green peppers, mozzarella cheeses and pepperoni. Loved it! My wife got the wedding soup pizza, which is a white pizza with chicken, meatball and spinach. My good friend got a white pizza with extra cheese, yellow pepper rings and mushrooms. He thoroughly enjoyed it. His wife got the Original Everything, which she said was delicious. I'm glad that we each tried a slice of each other's pizza as it gave us all a way to try out four different offerings. Each of the pizzas were really good, with a nice crust, tasty sauce, and generous toppings. If you are dining there, you'll find a large attached room that has all kinds of chips and snacks, plus refrigerated coolers and hold all kinds of soft drinks, and beer and wine. This pizza shop is a long time favorite in Austintown. The pizza is really good!

I'm a Warren girl, so sunrise is my favorite but living out this way, can't go wrong with Wedgewood. I like a salty pizza and their pizza never disappoints!

Lacks quality and pride in the product. Inconsistent with cooking, sometimes soggy in the middle but more often it's burnt.

I purchased two pizzas the other day. A brier hill and a plain cheese pizza. The sauce is way too acidic and tangy. I noticed this numerous times, i will not purchase Wedgewood pizza again.

I live in Florida and I make sure I get a pizza here!! I'm originally from the area and there are some really good pizza shops around but Wedgewood is over the top!
