Waterhole

This is a bit of a hidden gem in the Harmony-Zelienople area. I've lived in Zelie for 10+ yrs and only discovered this place within the past month. I've dined here twice and ordered takeout once.When I've dined-in, I've had their steak salad and their steak sandwich. For takeout, I had their turkey club. All three dishes were well prepared and flavorful. The salad had good quality of greens (not just iceberg lettuce), and a healthy portion of both greens and steak. The steak sandwich was great - actual tips of steak, not lunch meat or shaved strip - all on artisan bread. The club sandwich was, well, what'd you expect; a tiered sandwich with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It was a good light sandwich.Also, their desserts are definitely worth having a try. I've had key lime pie, which was awesome, and lemon meringue, which was also well-made.The two times I've dined in (parties of 2-3) we were promptly seated, the service was personable and attentive. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. For comparison sake (if you're familiar with Harmony-Zelie): in my opinion, this restaurant has some rustic charm similar to the Log Cabin Inn. I'd say generally the quality of food is comparable to the Log Cabin Inn also.

This is a bar restaurant at a golf course that is rather rustic and very nice. Not your typical golf course restaurant. Food is good prices are fair particularly at happy hour. Service is always good. Nice setting. I go fairly often.

Not a very good experience. My food was cold with no real concern from the staff. Waitress seemed to be in another parallel universe even with it not being busy.
